I donβt understand the stigma about daonβs profession? Especially how hangyeol said he found her less attractive…
Some people think that women who work in the entertainment industry (idols, actors, comedians...etc) are impure. They think that they must have gotten where they are by shagging higher-ups & that they will do anything to stay in the spotlight. Obviously, Hanguel is a person that has such prejudices.
Unfortunately, the people behind these shows are backed by corporations and most of us seem to forget that they…
This is completely true unfortunately. But it still aches me to see how he was treated. I'm not siding by Yoo Ah In because I stan him or whatever, I'm just asking the rational question of: How would spending time in jail help heal anyone from addiction? As I mentioned above, rehab time & community service would be a way better solution for ANYONE in such situation.
I don't think they would want to stick with the original actor because of his scandal.
I know about his situation, but it happened recently. Where were they 3 years ago? Also, one thing about Yoo Ah In's penalty, I don't think it fits the charges AT ALL. How would spending time in jail help someone get rid of any addiction? They could've put him in rehab, took the money they took & gave him some hours in community service or something, NOT ruin his future for it.
They threw Yoo Ah In under the bus immediately, and turned for Kim Sung Cheol for the main role. Though I have nothing against Kim Sung Cheol, but if it takes you 3 years to release the sequel, you also could've stuck with the original actor.
Not me. He was in a parent / guardian role. I saw it as if I told my family and they didnβt hide it from their…
Honestly, for me, I'd be very careful with it if someone came out to me. I'd NEVER tell anyone else unless the person allows me to. There are way too many toxic people out there that I don't want them annoying anyone I care about.
I'm only 3 episodes in & I'm already way too bored with it all. Way too slow paced, too many awkward silences within the conversations, and some immature acting from some of the actors. I have no idea if I'm going to continue this one.
Good story, but it's VERY slow paced, has way too many repeated situations, and, of course, it is extremely censored like all Chinese BL shows. So, If you're looking for some out in the open lovey dovey moments, this one will NOT satisfy your needs. Other than this, you're good to go.
PS: I watched the older adaptation of this (Addicted 2016) &, to me, it was better paced. I'm also intending to watch the Thai adaptation (Addicted Heroin) when it's completed & shall leave a comment on it.
