Different kinda story!

So at first, seeing that this is a short drama with lots of product placements in the first few episodes, I actually thought that the story was going to be a standard romcom stuff to appeal to a larger audience, but by God, was I so wrong! And I am happy I was wrong because tbh this is a unique one of a kind show that I watched and I was satisfied with the ending.

So now coming to the story, it is basically about a hardworking sweet girl who falls in love easily, but the catch here is that she usually falls in love with more than 1 person at a time! I know it did seem like she is 2 timing with both the guys during first few eps but then they show that she is actually genuinely in love with both of them! Some people do fall in love like that I guess!
Anyway so she goes and tells the same to both of them thinking they will break up but she is in for a surprise when both of them agree to be with her! And so it goes until things get hard for everyone... You gotta watch it to know the rest of the story! Lol

Then there's also a sweet guy best friend who loves her for who she is... In fact everyone is a good person here, all the guys and even the girl when we get to know her properly after few eps are all nice. Somehow everyone tries to understand that she's a different person whose idea of love is unconventional and different from the general population and she is simply who she is.

I liked that they didn't try to change her into a conventional heroine in the end. Till the end she was unconventional but a slightly more matured person in terms of her relationships, as in the beginning she valued only her own opinions more and in the end she was more considerate of others too.

I have seen many comedy movies with ml two or even 3 timing with girlfriends and even multiple wives without telling the ladies involved about each other, so I actually thought this was the female version of it but it turned out to be a more matured approach in the end rather than a mere comedy.

So give it a try for its novel approach!

Modern Mature romcom with Sweet hot chemistry b/w leads!

Dec 8th 2021. #GoForIt. This show has the BEST onscreen chemistry b/w the lead couple I have seen in a long long time that it almost tempted me to ship them!<3 So skip the side couples and dive in for some awesome Main cp scenes after starting few eps! ❤️

6 +1 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH THIS SHOW :

1) Main couple has a sizzling hot but at the same time adorable chemistry!❤️
I usually skip most dramas especially C dramas the moment the leads get together but this show is a happy exception! If there's sexual tension before Ep 16 (they get together in this ep) , then after that it is pure adorable mature chemistry b/w them which is truly a delight to watch! ❤️ Don't miss the heart melting kisses! The very definition of hot & sweet! ❤️

2) Modern C dramas are generally full of either Teeny love stories or Dominating President love stories but rarely you see a story where the leads are almost on equal footing in a workplace. Yes he is her senior but he is just an investment consultant so the best thing is that she doesn't report to him directly, she is a top manager herself and she reports to her own boss, so NO COERCION by a dominating ML here! He is persistent in his love but never forces her in anyway. The choice is always hers! ❤️

3) Fl is a strong woman but also a real enough human who has her own foibles and after being cheated by a manipulative guy (just before marriage) she fell in love in her teenage years and who is also her teacher dad's fav ideal student, she has a hard case of 'ESCALATION OF COMMITMENT' issue.

This escalation of commitment is a real thing (Google it) and it is what makes it real because no matter what we say, most people tend to brainwash themselves into trying to give the other person one more chance for better or worse.
Here in the beginning she does the same but thankfully she slowly comes to her senses when she senses what true love and care is because of our perfect ML, she breaks free from her fetters like a free bird!

4) ML is perfect to fault! Lol! Stylish, smart,
handsome and chivalrous! ❤️

5) Some really classy acting from the leads, truly become fans of them. I have seen FL before in few episodes of 'Intense Love' which I quit after starting few eps, so this is my first actual show of ZYX. And it's also the first time I have seen the ML. And I can say for sure they excel in their roles! I would like to see them again in some Republican era detective shows together! It will be fun!

6) Music is something that I always ignore in a show but somehow here it is a true plus point!

+1) Don't forget to Check out the funny cute Behind the scenes (BTS) videos after this!

Now coming to the drawback, the only main drawback is the side couples!
The FL's friend is truly a very interesting character and her friendship scenes with FL are truly a enjoyable, so I wished she had a better pairing, even the ML's assistant would have been better for her.
But the FL's bro who is actually paired with her is just so immature which makes the couple get the award of most boring couple in C drama! I actually like noona romance but this is the best example of how not to make it!

So finally my advice is to SKIP the 2nd couple and 3rd couple ( rich naive gal & ML's assistant) scenes after 3rd or 4th episodes and just watch the main cp and their related scenes! This is what I did and I guarantee you that you will be much happier like that too! You can thank me later! Someone should edit them out and upload it again somewhere!

PS: Wow! Ending was super cute and there is actually a REPUBLICAN ERA SPECIAL EPISODE! DON'T MISS THE SPECIAL EPISODE ! THEY EVEN HAVE A LITTLE KID IN THAT! ❤️

It heals you in the end.

I would classify it as a healing drama with a good dose of comedy, sufficient mystery, great deal of family bonding and a lovely beautiful romance with a beautiful happy ending. LEADS CHEMISTRY IS THE HIGHLIGHT.

Actors, especially the ML & FL deserve some award for their stellar acting skills! My God, I don't think I have ever cried for a drama so much! And crying in the sense that a random tear or two falling down unchecked because I rarely cry while watching dramas but they, the leads, will surely make you tear up when they cry and put a smile on your face when they smile!

Loved the relationship b/w FL's mom and grandma and their whole family bonding. ❤️ ML's bestie too was a much needed happy character in the show. Then there's a cute dog too to add to the cuteness overload!

Spoilers:

It starts with a fantasy (emotional telepathy b/w the leads) and then adds shocking stalking incidents next and then brings in a bit of tragic mystery (his twin sister is missing since she was a 10 yr old child and he is convinced she is not alive ) and the mystery comes next by trying to guess who the culprit might be.

But mystery is not the main focus of the show. It focuses more on why people are not the way they seem. People might seem innocent on the surface but they seldom are and they mostly don't even regret it. We just have to find a way to heal ourselves from the hurt.

Here the romance is the healing factor, the ML & FL heal each other and many others in that process. They get their well deserved perfect happy ending in the end! ❤️

It's fun and funny!

Was a really cute show with a super funny crazy & sassy fl (Fl is one of my fav ever!) and a really cute and supportive ml! They both have a cute and funny chemistry going on, which is adorable! ❤️

Story though is kinda on a predictable mystery side but scenes are shot well and has a really satisfying ending!
Plus there are some really funny epilogue scenes in the end of most episodes, don't miss that! :D

The actors are fab and handle humour really well.

Overall a light watch to cheer you up on a dull day.

Warm & cozy watch!

It's a short, warm and cozy romcom, something that you can easily binge watch on a cold night curled up with a cup of coffee. It has one of my fav kdrama trope of 'childhood friends to lovers' trope! And not every show does it nicely, but this one surely did!

Story is predictable but the beauty lies in the coziness of the scenes, cinematography is beautiful... The cycle scene and the scenes in the restaurant are just beautiful to look at!

Since it is a simple story, there are not many scenes to show off their acting skills, but what they got, they did best.
