I have to give Xi Wei all the credit here, the way she portrayed Chang yu’s disbelief and sense of betrayal was phenomenal. You could literally see it slowly forming on her face as she pieced together that Xie Zheng and Yan Zheng are the same person. Every subtle shift in her expression captured shock, confusion, and heartbreak, and it made the moment so much more intense and gut wrenching.

He should have so many more epic fight scenes in the coming episodes, especially after the second and third times they separate. The third was when he throws himself into battles just to numb the pain.
He had earlier epic fight scenes in the novel, but I’m surprised the drama hasn’t shown more of them. Hopefully, we’ll get to see them soon!
Also, Fan Changyu joining the Jizhou army makes so much sense, she wanted more military experience so she could confidently walk side by side with Xie Zheng. In the novel, she even considered breaking up with him at first because of their different statuses.
