Fellow novel readers, am I the only one who actually loved the forehead kiss more than the forced kiss in the novel, In that situation especially, it felt more like a soft apology 😭

Prince Changxin is actually a rebel from one of the prefectures, there are 17 prefectures in Da (great) Yin. He’s not from an enemy kingdom, he belongs to Da Yin, and his rebellion is against the current Emperor and Wei Yan, who controls the Emperor. As for the nanny, yes her goal is to protect Bao’er, since he is the legitimate heir of Da Yin throne (Nb: she doesn't care about Qi Min) Plus the Fire in the Eastern Palace was a planned escape by Qi Min’s mother after the Crown Prince’s (Chengde) death, as she knew they would become the next targets. I recon some spinoffs would do well with all the interesting side stories/characters. I would love to see a romance…
Definitely! there’s so much potential in the side stories and supporting characters, as for Bao Bao and Ning Niang, I’d really love to see their future explored in a spinoff or even a short drama. Those two would make such an interesting qīng méi zhú mǎ 🥺❤️
Both leads are doing a great job. The plot is really good and the actors are bringing their characters to life.…
Absolutely! Both leads are doing an amazing job. Every emotion feels so real because of their performances. And you’re right, the writing, editing, music, and all the production elements make the story even more immersive. And honestly, the entire cast is perfect, every single performance adds so much to the drama. When everything comes together like this, it’s no wonder the drama hits so hard emotionally ❤️
