What matters is the acting skills. Why do u only care if they are handsome or not? Then u would rather watch those idol dramas with handsome main leads. Did u know fan cheng cheng gained weight for his role in his newest movie. His drama and movie lists although not many all show his versatility as he has played various roles. To be an actor it isn't all abt looks u have to sometimes sacrifice and be dedicated. I'd prefer actors who are serious in their roles than traffic actors who only care abt fame. And I'm curious why u think fan cheng cheng is not handsome? I think he is good looking tbh. I agree I was not a fan of him before but after learning abt these things I gradually have become a fan.

Actually the character of Zhuang yuan is considered more handsome than the main lead in the book. The main lead used to be chubby and had a glow up.
