The actor definitvely read the books!

Started the first episode and yeah, the CGI is... interesting, BUT! I'm a 90ies girl, so I grew up with way, waaaay worth xD It even reminds me of a few of my fav shows back then, especially the cat! It is so Sabrina, the teenage witch-coded! I loved Salem! xD I will just imagine I'm back in time, sitting on the floor with my dry cereal and enjoy the show 😆
I swear those families, especially the fathers, are making me feel icky! I'm freshly showered, hair still wet, but as soon as I see their faces, I want to shower again! I want to punsh them so badly, wiping their dumb "smiles" from their faces with an iron pan like my life depends on it! And Sean's father, when he didn't find him in his room, you could really see that he almost wishes that his son "just" got kidnapped! Oh, they are making me so grrrrrrr!!!

I don't know how to describe what I felt ( and I needed to watch it two or three times, because I was too captivated by Odajima's face and eyes and skin... that man is gorgeous! ), but bittersweet was surely in the mix, not at least because of the bgm. That sound was pulling at my heart strings and it hurt a little bit, but not in a bad way.. Maybe you can find the right words, because I'm at a loss and still haunted by Odajima's beauty ...
Episode two was beautifully shot and the lighting? Just wow! And Odajima, with his dark skin and his sad eyes, is absolutly captivating! That bed scene, his gaze, the way he moved, the way he reacted? I couldn't look away from his face, it was just too ... wow!

I decided from the start that I would binge it, but I read comments every now and then and I was a little scared, to be honest... BUT! Your commends always calmed me and I didn't loose the excitment for this show! I now by know that we often think in the same way, so I started it today. I really liked it! Especially the thing you mentioned with the "not forgiven, but we'll get there. Together." It was beautifully shot, the lighting was warm and gave me that sweet, cozy feeling I really needed after Shine... still traumatized... Veera...

Just what I needed after the trauma Festival Shine! This is so cute and cozy, with realistic characters and finally mature ones! I want and need more shows like this! It had me squealing, grinning and yet always felt realistic. And their hight difference! Gosh! Now I know how my partner and I look and why he always looks at me like I am a cute little kitten xD From that height, everything looks cute!
