joseph zheng's portrayal of a highly skilled martial artist is not convincing, unlike Lin Yu Shen.
Just like Li Ya Peng in Laughing in the Wind, Lin Yu Shen's Yang Xiao fits right into the Jiang Hu world. Totally believable as the 'seasoned master who could kill someone while sipping wine.' :D

Yes it's really cruel of her to ask Tae Joo to take the blame re. Gi Beom's death, just to protect her son's feeling toward Si Yeong. How could she 😪

You r right. This drama has many plot holes, not cohesive like Tunnel, Signal & Beyond Evil.
They didn't focus on the psyche of the murderer either, how & why he became a serial murderer.

which r also based on Hwaseong serial murders.
Also Sun Yeong starts to be annoying & stupid, how could she leave the little kid alone in the mountain gosh...

I'm watching up to Ep 10 & this drama feels like a melo/makjang. It's messy, not as good & coherent like Tunnel & Signal...

They focus too much on the FL Ye Li, not enough on ML Xiu Yao.
The directing is pretty inconsistent, esp. re. the maid's "visibility" to other ppl/casts.
After watching 7 epi.s, got to drop it. Although I like Ryan Cheng's acting...

I like the dynamics between the father & son <3 Them together r so cute & funny (Ep 7, 12)
ML's dad is one of the most lovable crown prince :)

Zhu Ya Wen is very charming as Zhu Zhanji. He is just very good in historical dramas :)

I'm up to Ep 18 now, so kinda missing the other team at Kaifeng - Zhao Kuang Yin, Lord Feng.

It's one of my favorites, very intelligent w/ excellent acting.

I like it when Zhao Kuang Yin talks with Lord Feng. These 2 actors have charisma & showed fluid, excellent acting for historical drama.

Yes I've been thinking the same. I felt confused & then disappointed in Li Qin's behavior. It's very natural for Gu Ping Yuan to feel so hurt & betrayed by LWT, a father who framed his own son.
When Li Qin demanded that GPY to be exiled again to Ningguta, I couldn't believe it. Some ppl said it comes from his insecurity & jealousy toward GPY mixed w/ grief.

Why do they now spell her name like that? 서예지 =Seo Ye Ji. There's no need to add an 'a' to it.

I do agree & also interprete that the last scene was them meeting again in the afterlife. After the cold pool treatment, the doctor said she's gone past the critical moment, but they didn't say that she was totally cured.
Perhaps she wanted to live the last months of her life travelling b'cos of her mother's advice: to live life.
I've watched this drama 4x & still enjoy it. Jang Hyuk gave a very excellent performance as the magnetic & handsome Wang So. Lovely chemistry with OYS' Gae Bong/Shin Yul.

wow! 6 times? haha... I like Pasta, The Greatest Love, Thank You, Biscuit Teacher & Star Candy (with Gong Yoo) etc :)
It's a pity that she'll move to USA, but oh well she needs to settle down & focus on her family.
