I liked it at first honestly. I liked the female lead in sassy go go and was excited to see her in this drama. But to be honest I feel like the story is all over the place. There is no story line to begin with. It started out with her wanting to lose weight. But right now I'm not sure what exactly is going on besides them wanting to.. work out? is that it? Is there more to it? I was thinking it might turn out like oh my Venus but nope. Then I thought okay maybe it's like welcome to waikiki it had similarities. But I just think they pushed the gym as a overall idea and went with it. It's kinda boringWas this review helpful to you?
The BEACH scene
STILL as good as the first episode. I stand on this. This is gold honestly. I'm not gonna go deeper on the beach scene but iykyk. And MAYBE unpopular opinion but the forest scene was for me waaay better 😍😍.I'm just gonna come clean I am love this actor after this show. I have never seen him before in any other drama this is my first time, but the way he delivers emotions and his lines ughhh, this is exactly what I missed in other romcoms, the feelings I needed from the main actors.
Sooo im bit angsty cause what is gonna come with his half brother or cousin or whatever cause honestly, the actor for him needs applause too im actually scared of him 💀💀.

acting of two on land stranded fishes
I really liked it the first idk 6 or 7 episodes? but I feel like the story went kinda nowhere and the plot got lost after a specific scene, im not gomma mentioned it but it was just overall wishy washy.I didn't dislike the acting per se. Just after a while it just was... the same? the fl did a good job at the beginning but after I watched a webseries which no one takes serious I felt like the fl in that 5 min show did a better job than her 😭😭 why was she so soulless in some scenes? and don't get me started at ml. he too was fine at the start but I feel like I've seen him either just smirk or do this 😐 like?
I dont know i need emotions to feel the storyline. maybe if I continued it could have gotten better but I was skipping the whole time and didn't even register the storyline. at one point I was like what is the point in watching it if I dont care anymore.

One of the best historical chinese Dramas so far
I rarely write Reviews, actually, never on this App. but for this I must! I have watched so many Chinese dramas, and historical ones were always so icky for me. I never liked how they flew around and and were suddenly air bending, I know this is mostly wuxia, but still.But this one. Oh man. I can't even start on how much I love this drama. The acting the relationships, wether it's the main couples, the friends, the family. The story is so well written.
many people can't wait for two episodes, I want them to only share one a day so this drama can stay for longer. I'm sad already knowing its over in not even 10 days :(.
Now let's talk about how smart our fl is. I HATE fls that are stupid, high voices and cant think straight. Even when she's being the "weaker" one it's her being and understanding human being cause goddamn there were moments I would have been so damn petty but she was more wise on the other hand. that's what I loved about her. She was mad and understanding at the right moments!
This is such a nice change! I am actively looking for more Chinese dramas just cause this one changed my mind about them. normally I drop them the moment I hear fl high voice, no fr why do they always make fl voices like this?
Thats besides the point. Definitely watch this. this is worth every second.

absolute time waste
The only entertaining thing that happened was that I was watching on viki and there were live comments while I was watching. otherwise I couldn't have watched it.It was such a waste of time. the time went on so slow because the story was just not evolving. the male lead was insufferably stupid. I felt like he's not there in his mind.
The female lead has no backbone. like profession her love every time and still receive nothing but keep repeating is insane. and don't make me talk about how outfits I know she was pregnant , but still.
The only character I liked was his brother.
