I understand "everyone's" concern about Ramil and Paytai's relationship but I don't feel like the series' direction romanticizes it (for the moment). Of course it wasn't "great" or "pleasant" to see Ramil treating Paytai that way, I'm not in favor of this kind of relationship and blame anyone promoting this kind of behavior. BUT as actors, Jimmy and Ohm slayed ! Their chemistry is perfect in my opinion, and so are their acting skills. Just seeing Ramil's gaze and the way he maintains Paytai is enough to make me feel uncomfortable. SO they did a great job (particularly Ohm for his first role) and I'm looking forward to their next scenes.
PS: I don't think this kind of relationship promotes and encourages violence, or humiliation in people's relationships. Yes, the media is a big part of our construction as citizens and human beings, but it's clearly not the most essential thing.
