I hope so too! I know a lot of people get mad at the finale but the drama is a masterpiece to judge just for the one episode. It's not perfect ending but that didn't stop me giving 10/10 and to encourage others to give it a try.

If they filmed all scenes before chinese regulations, I am afraid they didn't have a choice as to what parts to pick, since all the scenes are inter-connected. Maybe the ones we got are the only options to make the story sense but still of course it's not perfect or how it was supposed to be.

The writers are not doing her well. In the mortal arc, I completely understood her but in the immortal arc I honestly don't know what she is thinking. Loved the actress btw!

As much as I hate to say this, I think you are right. I thought she loved him after they met in the immortal sect but now after watching EP39 and her saying "I regret loving you" while watching the sketch, I don't think she truly loved him. Now 1 more episode left, I am afraid it will feel rushed.
