South Korea are really pumping these good ones out huh? A lot of things were redeemed in the final 2 eps which…
Didn't expect those kisses. I thought the chemistry completely died along the angsty ride. I felt the writer is too immersed in all that pseudo-complex drama they wouldn't give us any fluff. Maybe a final talk and some akward kiss. Nope. I was very wrong.
to be honest I was very disappointed and I feel like I have to go watch this over now cause I'm seeing people…
There are many things you will miss the first time watching. The show looks smart, and maybe it is, but from my personal view the core problems didn't justify all that drama and complexity that was presented.
Unlike otheres this season was disappointing for me , 8 eps of break up to solve it in less than 3 mintues !!!reality??where??who…
Wasn't a fan of that crying scene either. He behaved emotionally immature throughout the whole series, and at the end he cried like a baby? That infantilization was strange.
Well, in s1 there was great chemistry, great characters, lots of fun, some angst. It felt very innocent and was…
But ep 9 and 10 were really great. Didn't expect those kisses and cute scenes. Really nicely done. It felt so natural like in s1. I would add it to your daily routine XD
On a side note: All those side characters they integrated, looking back it feels like they wanted to show how Ji Woo build his own social circle. An issue seemed to be that he was all alone, Seo Joon on the other hand was surrounded by many people. Well, at this point we all know, that Ji Woo has insecuritiy issues, he felt like being a burden, he obviously was too consumed by those negative thoughts. At least now he was able to build a life outside of the relationship. Though I still wonder why he couldn't do that earlier, and what exactly was holding him back.
no matter what u say but season 1 really has something that other series doesn’t have not even tms2... admit…
Well, in s1 there was great chemistry, great characters, lots of fun, some angst. It felt very innocent and was charming. It really was shining bright like a star.
Tms2 lost it's innocence, and they messed up the Ji Woo character. But well, still enjoyable.
Even when they reconciled Seo Joon had to promise Ji Woo to do nothing he dislikes. So more work for Seo Joon!…
And then Seo Joon: "Are you threatening me?" Ji Woo: "I'm begging you." That was strong, really. Got me the chills.
Also, Seo Joon despite trying so hard, he always kept his pride. Maybe that one time after they slept together, he was almost on his knees, but he got up again. It's a fascinating character.
I think the core ideas of this season weren't that bad. But the execution was lacking. Too much focus on unnecessary…
I sometimes think I'm too critical. I only watch the best of the best Korean Drama. I'm very picky. But there are a lot mediocre dramas out there full of cliches. I'm especially not fond of most of their (hetero) romance dramas with young actors.
I mean, To My Star isn't a bad show compared to what's out there, BL or not.
The end saved this series. I'm still not sold on the reason for the break-up and why all of this drama and pain…
Me being critical doesn't mean I hate a series. The end was better than I expected, though. It was pretty uplifting after all that drama. I wish the guys the best. Love both actors 💕
Even when they reconciled Seo Joon had to promise Ji Woo to do nothing he dislikes. So more work for Seo Joon!…
I liked that line from Ji Woo. So at least he is self-aware that he can't do what Seo Joon did. I guess we have to appreciate the honesty? But yeah, very strange concept from the writer regarding a working relationship. I think in real life sooner or later this would end badly. Or maybe we are supposed to believe that those two complement each other? Seo Joon is charming and hard working. He doesn't mind giving his all even though he gets little in return? So they are a match made in heaven? Two puzzle pieces that just fit together, lol. I don't know.

I was glued to the screen the whole time from ep 1 to ep 10. So they did something right. I thought it was a very interesting series, worth my time for sure.
Its not only the fact that they get back together, but the way they work on things that were affecting their relationship…
The end saved this series. I'm still not sold on the reason for the break-up and why all of this drama and pain was needed, but I must say they tried to tie everything together at the end. The end didn't feel rushed. Their reconcilation did. But they gave us a lot of fluff and a glimpse into a brighter future. They really tried to show us that this time it will work between those two. I'm also glad they gave those two guys the opportunity to show us their chemistry. Because of all the angst I honestly felt the chemistry was gone, and wasn't expecting anything anymore.
why tf did jiwoo suddenly change his attitude after seojun??? why tf did they get back together so fast what even…
I honestly don't remember, haha. He changed after reading the messages on his phone. But what happened before that? I think Seo Joon finally gave up on him. Was that the push he needed?
I think the core ideas of this season weren't that bad. But the execution was lacking. Too much focus on unnecessary…
I get Ji Woo. His inner conflicts were understandable and realistic. Sometimes it can be suffocating being in a relationship, and especially when your boyfriend is too perfect. I really get it. But don't blow that problem out of proportion. And at the end nothing was resolved. They just aggreed to talk more. Which I guess was the solution all along? And Seo Joon has to try even harder in the future to pamper Ji Woo.
Maybe the reconciliation part was too fast I agree. But then for all those who say asking for season 2 means ,they…
I think the core ideas of this season weren't that bad. But the execution was lacking. Too much focus on unnecessary things, too much angst/drama when there wasn't even a real problem apparantly, too much of everything and then again too little. How they made up ... in like five minutes. It was overly complicated with no real substance.
TMS2 would have been a masterpiece if it was just 6 episodes long (first 4 and last 2). Those 4 extra episodes…
I don't know ...
If those two had met only two or three months after the break-up it would have made more sense. Ji Woo is a coward and has some issues. He felt trapped. So he run away. He needed a break. I seriously get that. But a whole year? And he didn't check the phone? They needed the year to show us he build an own restaurant, I guess. And then there was no need to behave so hurtful towards Seo Joon. He could have just ignored him by being cold. But he hurt him. And like someone else wrote: He behaved like a baby with that half-ass apology while at the same time he was demanding that Seo Joon is even more understanding ...!! They should have shown us his troubles differently. Throughout the whole series he behaved like some dead man, someone with very heavy depression. But if you have such a severe depression you can't go up every morning and do your job just fine. Everything was strange.
Just no. The final two episodes, although they beautifully reconciled, for me at this stage it was just too little,…
Even when they reconciled Seo Joon had to promise Ji Woo to do nothing he dislikes. So more work for Seo Joon! Boy hasn't done enough! People praise this for the "realism". I get the feeling the author has a very strange idea how relationships work.
The director using flash forward woven throughout the season and having the fandom up in arms thinking it was…

Truer words were never spoken.
