I don't blame anyone for liking this show - obviously everyone has the right to choose what they enjoy, and my…
I still think they will go with this plot: Ji Woo pushes Seo Joon away, because he thinks ending this relationship will be less hurtful for Seo Joon than finding out the "truth" about ... whatever. Some secret will be revealed. But that's great misjudgement on his side.
People like to complain about Seo Joon being too pushy and narcissistic. He is just an extroverst and a puppy looking for love. But whatever faults he may have, he never hurt Ji Woo INTENTIONALLY. Ji Woo on the other hand knows exactly what he is doing. That he himself is hurt doesn't make his actions less of a crime.
That's the biggest problem I have with this relationship: That Ji Woo is cruel and he knows it. There must be another way to solve whatever issue there may be. But he decided to solve it like this. If they give us a scene where Ji Woo breaks down and Seo Joon will forgive him ... well, I don't know how to feel about that.
Bottom line: They overdid it. They went too far with the angst just to make the viewers suffer.
Can I ask why you dropped Secret Love and KinnPorsche?
Secret Love doesn't have much to offer, it's the same old formula. KP is trying out new things, but the writing remains shallow and the characters are not very likable. But that's just me.
ok people i've never watched the prequel/previous version of this and i dont mean to start any wars.just kinda…
Mark was incredible in the first series. But this time he is overdoing it with the expressions. I hope it was just the mood in the first two episodes. I liked him showing deep emotions. But him being annoyed or a brat is not enjoyable to watch.
I'm so curious how they will try to save this mess. Because they will. I'm almost 100% sure we will get an explanation…
They should have shown us the struggles of dating a star, or outing SJ as a gay Korean celebrity. But I think they didn't dare going that far since this is a controversial topic especially in Korea. Instead they put those two characters and their not matching personalities in a different setting (the village) and made somehow a reboot of the more angsty parts of s1 and dragged those out for several episodes. The writing itself is pretty intriguing, but the choice of plot is odd.
I'm not a native speaker, but as far as I know it means they ghosted each other, just didn't talk to each other anymore. Just laying low. Just doing nothing much and ending it silently. Just letting time passing by.
Why is that drama rated so high? The first episode was decent, the second boring. I dislike both leads. They have no charisma, no chemistry. All the other character make me yawn. I'm honestly lost why this is so popular. I watched Kingdom, Train To Busan, All Of Us Are Dead, Sweet Home. Those series weren't perfect either and had some annoying characters, but they were pretty intriguing. This is boooooooring. I tried watching it 3 (!!) times, and I think I just will give up now.
The reality is that if the close up of the underwear revealed a reaction, they probably would pull the series…
Lol, I don't know about this "padding" thing, but I wondered what people think to see looking at that underwear. I saw nothing there, just a smooth pouch. It doesn't look real. So yeah, they did something there.
Agreed! This is why I can’t bring myself to be fully mad at jiwoo. As an introvert Seo Joon inserting himself…
They were not on good terms while they were filming. The others even pointed it out. Ji Woo is an adult with his own restaurant/business. He should have said to Seo Joon "F*ck off". But he won't. Because he still loves him. At some point in life you have to grow up and stop hurting yourself and others. I'm not mad at the character. I understand that it's hard for him. But the demage he does to Seo Joon is just too much. You can't make another human being suffer so much, just because he is too pushy. Just end it then! Don't play strange games, saying they could be friends with benefits.
I don't think Seo Joon is wrong here. He is pure at heart and tries his best. If that's not enough, what is then?…
I know where you're coming from. But making Seo Joon the bad guy just to desperately defend Ji Woo is a bit far-fetched. I understand the character, but at some point he has to get his sh*t together. I still think there will be some bigger reason revealed for the break-up, and not just their personalities not being compatible.
