Some people like to be ridiculous because that's the only way they get attention. And probably due to certain circumstances they need attention.

By claiming you saw him “acting weird around underaged girls in real life,” you make yourself both an accuser and a potential accomplice. If this is true, you have a duty to support Ms. KSR’s family and report it properly.
If you do not, you remain a silent accomplice spreading an unverified claim. Either testify through legal channels or stop making baseless accusations.

Judging someone’s real character based on the roles they play in dramas or movies is more than wrong, it’s unfair and dangerous. An artistic choice or a fictional character is not proof of someone’s real personality. I haven’t seen Real, but calling it an exhibition of narcissism or a superiority complex says more about the viewer’s interpretation than the man himself. Also, the media and people twisting fiction into proof of “wicked behavior” are the real problem here. Kim Soo Hyun didn’t "destroy his own life", reckless rumors and snap judgments are trying to do that for him. Let’s stick to facts, not characters on a screen, or stories made by media. I am a firm supporter of a society governed by laws and committed to the truth, because unchecked rumors only serve to destroy the very fabric of that society.

It may become a difficult time for Gasey*n. As I mentioned below, the investigation is expanding from former President Yoon Seok-yeol to the Peple Power Party, of which Gasey*n is also a member. However, as I’ve shown, he also has support from the Dem*cratic Party, so the outcome remains uncertain.

Yes, it’s true that the Kim Soo-Hyun’s apartment was sold. But beyond that fact, the dramatic speculation has no real connection to the law, or to reality, for that matter.
Under Korean law, if a debtor sells property (like an apartment) while owing debts to multiple creditors, or does so while litigation is pending, the transaction may be challenged as an attempt to fraudulently reduce assets to the detriment of creditors. In such cases, creditors can exercise what’s known as the right of cancellation (채권자취소권).
If the court recognizes that right, the sale can be invalidated: the apartment returns to the debtor’s estate, and creditors can then seize it to satisfy outstanding debts. Courts consider factors such as the timing of the sale, the litigation’s progress, and whether the proceeds are used to satisfy creditors. If they conclude the sale was intended to harm creditors, both the seller and the buyer may face civil liability, and the buyer, if proven complicit or willfully ignorant of the seller’s financial status, may not only lose the property but also owe damages.
In other words, any buyer who knowingly purchases property from someone embroiled in debt litigation is taking on a massive legal risk. In Kim Soo Hyun’s situation, it’s simply implausible that any buyer would proceed without absolute confidence that the sale is legally clean and that the seller is able to fulfill all obligations. The sale proves not only that his assets exceed his debts, but also that his chances of winning the lawsuits are extremely high.

In the end, these “debt” headlines are far more likely to disappoint those secretly hoping for his bankruptcy. So, for those breathlessly spreading the rumor that he sold it because he’s drowning in debt, thank you for the entertainment.

Someone had to stand firm to change this entrenched behavior of the Korean public and media. Hopefully, measures will be put in place to prevent further “public executions” in the media before a legal verdict.

Kim Se-*i / Ga Se-ye*n was born on June 26, 1976, to father Kim Y*ung-su and mother Seo Je*ng-jin. His father, Kim Young-su, is the son of a former lawmaker.
He belongs to the Gimhae Kim clan, specifically the Pansogong branch. The Gimhae Kim clan has a total of 142 branches, including the Geumnyeonggun branch. Among these, the three branches that trace their direct lineage to General Kim Yu-sin — the Gyeong branch, Sagun branch, and Samhyeon branch — are considered the mainstream lines. Each of these branches has notable figures as their central ancestors, resulting in a complex genealogy with 24 major sub-branches.
Although I do not have access to the entire clan genealogy, it appears that Kim Se-*i’s line descends from King Suro, the legendary founder of the Gimhae Kim clan. Historically, members of this clan have held high public office, influential positions, or have attained significant professional reputations.
For example, Kim Se-*i’s father, despite having a degree in political science, often held positions unrelated to his academic background, except for his direct political roles. He began his career as a journalist, then became chairman of Ilchulbong Enterprise. He worked as a reporter at Donga Ilbo and Chosun Ilbo, later serving as deputy director of JoongAng Ilbo, president of the Journalists Association of Korea, and as a commissioner and director at Cultural Broadcasting (MBC). He was also a member of the 10th National Assembly (affiliated with the Yushin Political Friends Association), director and CEO of Korea United Advertising (a subsidiary of MBC), the 17th CEO of MBC Cultural Broadcasting, chairman of the board of Korea General Chemicals, director of the Korea Broadcasting Development Institute, and advisor and president of Gangseo Broadcasting. From 2004 to 2011, he served as chairman of Ilchulbong Corporation.
Coming from this influential background, Kim Se-*i also began his career in journalism, following in his father’s footsteps. He is a former MBN reporter, MBC economy reporter (2004–2018), former MBC legal superintendent, and former chairman of the MBC Labor Union, which included three unions.
Since 2016, he has faced controversy for spreading false information. The MBC Normalization Committee, an official body within MBC, investigated and confirmed that five of Kim Se-ui’s reports contained fabricated interviews. Amid this scandal, Kim Se-ui resigned from MBC in August 2018. However, his connection to Korean media remained extremely strong, perhaps thanks to his father.
Kim S*-ui is also an active level-17 user of Ilbe, an infamous far-right online community, where he uses nicknames such as Karina, Winter, Kim Chae-won, and Wendy. He has openly stated that he is proud to be an Ilbe member, showing strong attachment to the community.
Although he publicly describes himself as a liberal and libertarian, his extreme pro-Park Geun-hye activities and rhetoric align more closely with authoritarian and anti-liberal stances, which contradict his claimed ideology. He is a member of the People Power Party, and in 2022, when Yoon Seok-yeol was elected in the 20th presidential election, Kim Se-ui posted in the Ilbe community that it was a “really, really, really happy day.”
Despite claiming to have experienced financial hardship, his actions and connections suggest otherwise.
He remains linked to politics behind the scenes, leveraging his family background to maintain access to influential decision-makers in various sectors. Over the years, he has engaged in unchecked and sometimes unlawful outbursts without facing significant consequences. It remains to be seen whether he will continue to enjoy the same level of support in the current political climate.

Brief update on the progress of the complaint against Kim Sae-ui and Bu Ji-seok
1. Thankfully, the Gangnam Police Station accepted my request and reassigned the investigation team for the case in which I filed charges against Kim Sae-ui and Bu Ji-seok.
Instead of the original team under the investigation division that Kim Sae-ui absurdly named in one of his posts, the case has now been assigned to a different team under a separate division.
I’m grateful that, following this reassignment, the new investigation team immediately scheduled my statement to be taken next week. I will visit the station, testify sincerely, and fully cooperate to ensure the investigation proceeds smoothly.
2. From what I’ve heard, in March (?), Mr. Kim Soo-hyun also filed a defamation complaint against Kim Sae-ui, and I understand that case was reassigned to a new team last month as well (I found a Dispatch article dated June 23 that reported on this).
I don’t know the detailed background, but I personally suspect that Kim Sae-ui’s ridiculous post on the Gaseyeon board, where he even named the head of the investigation division and boasted that he’d never once been summoned for Kim Soo-hyun’s case, triggered this change.
Right after that post, I heard that the National Petition system was flooded with complaints. Imagine how absurd and unpleasant that must have been for the division head.
If my guess is right, Kim Sae-ui basically shouted to the world to investigate him faster. Maybe he’s hoping to create another live-streamed “arrest scene” event. If Kim Sae-ui ends up being detained for a long time, it’s unfortunate for “Gujaeyuk” (the nickname for the lawyer) because it will probably be hard for him to keep getting paid.
3. In the end, following Ms. Tzuyang’s complaint, now the three separate cases against Kim Sae-ui filed by Kim Soo-hyun and myself have all had their investigation teams reassigned this year. This is a very unusual situation.
As far as I know, each case has different reasons and circumstances behind the team changes, but since new teams are now handling them, I hope the investigations will move forward more swiftly and in a new atmosphere.
I believe things will turn out well.
4. Many people have contacted me about the harm they’ve suffered at the hands of the lawyer nicknamed Gujaeyuk.
There are at least six identifiable victims so far. If you include those indirectly harmed after being attacked by Gujaeyuk for helping these victims, there are even more. I also heard there are other lawyers involved. Apparently, he even filed bar association disciplinary complaints against the legal representatives of criminal complaints filed against him. From what I’ve heard, they were all dismissed, as expected. It looks like a strategy to exhaust people by overwhelming them, and sadly, it seems to have worked in some cases.
Among these recent reports and contacts about Gujaeyuk, I am about to meet with the victim whose situation seems the most serious. We plan to discuss in depth what can be done.
Honestly, there’s so much material that I haven’t even been able to review it all yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, I truly can’t understand what kind of life Gujaeyuk is living. Why is he wasting his life turning everything into a battlefield? Even if I were paid a fortune, I would never do such things.
5. It’s truly sad that to speak out for what’s right, one must be prepared to confront and endure harassment from people like this. To be honest, I still sometimes wonder whether I should have to face all of this alone. I suspect this is exactly why so many people choose not to fight back against them. And these people benefit from that situation. It’s all the more unpleasant to think they probably mistake people’s avoidance out of disgust for fear.
As unpleasant as this is, I’ve already stepped forward, and I’m determined that this must not be allowed to happen again. I will make sure to see Kim Sae-ui detained, Bu Ji-seok punished, and this so-called Gujaeyuk lawyer held fully accountable for all the reckless acts he has committed, including leaking whistleblower information.
6. I promised to upload a video, but with the court’s summer recess approaching, many important hearings have piled up, so I haven’t been able to make time for it yet. I shared this brief written update instead — I hope all of you who have supported me will kindly understand.
