It wasn’t my intention to make anyone cry. It’s just that these two dramas has captivated so many people with their beautiful love story. I actually had the intention of making the fmv with the song “It’s Not Goodbye” when One and Only first aired. It literally took me a month to make this fmv, from gathering over 200 audio clips and video clips to putting them together to make the story flow smoothly. I haven’t been maybe to decide which fmv I like more, either “It’s Not Goodbye” or “You Are The Reason”. 😂

To me, that is the most memorable line from One and Only. It left such a strong impress on me too, making me cry when I first heard it. To the point, I had to include it in the fmv I made. 😂 I mean, Shiyi cried too when she read it.

He said that famous line of his (“Throughout my life, I’ve never let anyone down, but Eleven”) in E24, around the 2:36 or 2:40 mark.

That happened to me when I was watching this drama and that was a month ago. 😢

I have yet to get over these two dramas…that’s with a rewatch, reading the novel and making/posting MANY videos on YouTube. I can’t seem to move on!

They don’t in this prequel, but there is one in the sequel, Forever and Ever.

Someone in Twitter mentioned that he wore white with the dark red underneath was his way of letting go of what they once had together. Their love that should not be spoken, be shown, will be buried on that day forever. 😭

I’ve also teared up during E16 again. 😭 I just found out why ZSC was wearing white during SY’s “wedding” and that just broke my heart all over again!

I still haven’t been able to get over these two dramas. Somehow I keep making fmv for them, even though I told myself I wouldn’t anymore and I should move on to other dramas. But I just can’t! 😂

Agree with you. I personally think ZSC started liking her from their first time meeting. There are alot of cute, but dorky, ways that he shows his love towards SY. The scenes where she’s drunk is a perfect example. Trying to get her to be comfortable, that’s just so cute. 🥺

I know I’ve said that won’t make anymore fmv for OnO and FnE, but I just couldn’t get over this drama. So....I ended up making another fmv. 😂 If anyone is interested, please let me know what you think. I think I will move on to reading the book now.

There’s really no love triangle or misunderstandings of any sort. The ML is a solid couple throughout the drama.

Unfortunately he doesn’t remember his past. Due to censorship, Shi Yi doesn’t remember her past either. It more in line with Shi Yi having “dreams”.

I know I’m late in terms of watching this drama. I haven’t watched a Kdrama in like 5 years. The last one I saw was coincidentally “Descendants of the Sun” with SJK. I’ve only started E01, but I must admit he looks good in this drama. So far it’s grabbed my attention, after having finished the Cdrama One & Only and Forever & Ever.

Do you use bittorrent? I usually download my dramas in 1080p or 4K since I use them to make FMV in HD. Then I get the subtitles from Subscene.

Yes not everyone was a fan of that particular scene of his. That’s why I ended up overlaying/blending his scene with Shiyi’s scene of feeling his pain. That way we can see them both onscreen simultaneously. As the audience, we know what’s happening but it’s not too clear as the original TV release (or at least that was what I intended for the second fmv 😂).
