Solid take on a fantasy drama
I watched this show since the beginning and went through all the stages of the public adoring it then some hating it and the mob mentality some have.
When I think about this show I remember the phrase "you don't need to reinvent the wheel, the wheel is just fine" and that is something that happens in about 80% of kdramas of multiple genres, especially fantasy when I have seen every show since goblin get accused of copying something. People love stories of CEOs, immortal creatures, time jumps etcetera so those continue to get written and what makes each shine are the approaches it one takes.
My demon did that, it got a lot of people back to kdramas or into them cause of the freshness of interactions between the leads, the undeniable chemistry, the way their acting perfectly suited the genre and the premise of the drama. And the way the characters made people fall in love.
At the end of the day it had it's flaws (mainly some plot points) and it had it's strong points. A light drama for a light watch which is a premise many drama lovers will surely love.
