24 episodes of nothing

The first criticism that comes to mind when thinking of this show is that the title doesn't really match the story. It's called "My neighbour can't sleep" but his insomnia is cured after the 10th episode and is never mentioned after that. The rest of the story is pretty meh. I kept watching the show and thinking what is the point of this?

Nothing really happens. Or at least nothing related to the title. Of course they included the usual c-drama cliché, where the childhood friend of the male lead (a girl) comes back and tries to get with him. In general I felt like there were a bunch of episodes where nothing important really happened. By episode 22 the main couple was together and happy, but they still had 2 episodes to fill in, so they decided to jam in a whole new topic: she wants to wait a year to go to university so she can go to that art school to be with him. Everyone advises her not to do that because it would compromise her future, but she doesn't care cause she loves him more (eye roll). In the end the main couple ends up fighting, he leaves due to his job, she thinks they broke up and goes to uni, he comes back and buys a place near her uni.
This is really disappointing, bot only because it is super rushed, but because in 2019 I am expecting a bit more of feminism. Throughout the whole show she doesn't really know what she wants to do with her life, I mean she likes writing but she's not good at it. So why couldn't she focus on improving? We see him practice playing the piano. NOOO she prefers spending her time responding to comments online about them as a couple and daydreaming, then at the last minute decides to study piano even though she always hated it. The woman finally was allowed to study writing and she wants to throw it away for a dude she barely knows. In the end she goes to uni, but only because he left, not because she understood she was wrong.

Furthermore, I was a bit confused by how time passed in this show. They repeatedly state that she's there on holiday and that it's going to end soon, but then she's still there and they seem to forget about the holiday part. But then without any notice they make 3 weeks go in just 2 episodes, so bizarre.

Finally, not a deal breaker, but still the outfits were hideous and outdated.
