I didn't realize sang yan would be someone who didn't have colour in his life based on only watching Hidden love.…
The novels are great. Simple, but great. 'Secretly Secretly, But Unable to Hide It'....aka 'Hidden Love' is only one side of Sang Yan, so a lot of people might be confused at first and not realize they are the same character. He's the type to act one way around friends and family and another way around strangers. He is both the 'Looks like he could kill you, is a cinnamon roll' and 'Looks like he could kill you, will kill you' personality.
What I don't think they got across well in the Hidden Love show is that Sang Yan is extremely intelligent. The kind of smart that makes you a bit arrogant because you don't have to think too hard about it. It's why he couldn't tutor his little sister well. He was completely confused how she couldn't understand something that was extremely simple to him
But you know how in Hidden Love Sang Yan is always like "Someone is pursuing me." "I have a girlfriend." "I'm busy dating." He never lied to them. He just never told them the whole truth. We saw glimpses of him at his bar and someone calling him boss, but never really showed that it was the most popular bar on the street and that he was the owner owner and high key famous amongst the locals for his good looks. He's literally nicknamed the idol/god of depraved street in the novel. He is just as flirty/mischievous as Duan Jia Xu when it comes to YiFan. Sang Yan lets people think he and his bestie are a gay couple on campus because they couldn't be bothered to deal with women hitting on them....I swear to god if they don't put those scenes in there I'm going to be so disappointed.🤣🤣 If Duan Jia Xu is a fox, Sang Yan is a house cat.
in the original True Beauty story doesn't she end up with Han Seo Jun? Am I remembering incorrectly?
In the webtoon or whatever the original source material was? I could have sworn I remember people being upset that they changed the end game for the live action.
Ok guys but I am also scared what are they gonna fill in the next 6 episodes? 😂 It's giving me anxiety ngl!…
They could expound on the time between 2009 and 2023. They could show more of what happened in the OG timeline. But yeah I too am on the edge of my seat waiting to see what they do with 6 more episodes.
Eclipse only have 3 memberI guess something will happen to Sun Jae in 2009
He might become their song writer. As Baek In Hyuk thanked Sun Jae after the audition. So not sure if it was a thanks for getting us in the door, thanks for the song, or what exactly. But he could easily become a producer and writer for the group.
Sun Jae put things together and believe that Im Sol is from the future and she's trying to save him from dying.…
Boy's been gaslighting himself for almost a year at this point, dismissing all the strange things about Im Sol. I was like, come on little buddy you can do it...I believe in you....put the clues together.
Some people see taesung and sol as potential lovers. but I don't see it, not with the past or future sol. but…
Tae Sung is very observant and is the first person to clock Im Sol's feelings for Sun Jae when they were still in high school. When she told him about being from the future it kind of all clicked for him. He likes teasing Sun Jae, but I don't think he would ever actually make a true play for Im Sol at this point. Still holding out for Detective Kim Tae Sung in 2023.
My hope is that Tae Sung finds out that his father is investigating a murderer that is connected to Im Sol and…
Yes. When Kim Tae Sung is brought into the police station in ep 2 for fighting his father walks into the station. The officer interviewing him stands to greet his father calling him Lieutenant Kim. He is also the man who was driving the car that Im Sol fainted in front of in episode 7. He is the lead detective on the case of the body found at the reservoir.
This is going to be boring for most people so spoiler tag as to not take up too much space in the comment section. Just interesting things I've noticed going down the rabbit holes between episode airings. I just realized that 'Twinkling Watermelon' and 'Marry My Husband' had the same date and time slot as 'Lovely Runner'. It's kind of hitting the in-between demographic of the two shows. Not as many people watching as the more adult story of 'Marry My Husband', but more than the younger story of 'Twinkling Watermelon'. This is most likely because of it being a school night airing on Mondays and Tuesdays...adults are more likely to watch something than kids who are getting out of school late/adults also might have more say in what is being watched in a house period. TVing has had a really good 1st and 2nd quarter with 'Marry My Husband' and 'Queen of Tears'. 'Marry My Husband' was probably the highest rated Mon/Tues show in TVings history. 'Queen of Tears' did beat out the highest rated TVing shows period. I hope that 'Lovely Runner' is getting it's flowers from the network as well.
