Question for nurses and doctors. In spoiler tag because duh.
Can someone be sufficated if they have a oxygen tube(the nose kind) in? Cause even with a pillow over the face shouldn't there be oxygen flowing through the little nose tube?
So, tell me! Who's worse? The haters or the blindfolded fangirls who always give at least 9/10 to everything,…
If someone finds enjoyment from something they have the right to rate it 10/10. Each person has their own measuring stick. Spending your time in the comment section of a show you did not enjoy is loser behavior, and not the cute loser behavior of a ML in a romcom. Rating a show a 1 just because fans of the show liked it en masse & rated it high because they enjoyed the show. If a person knows they don't like shows that would produce "fangirls" it's maybe best to stay away from idol or youth dramas in general. If you are not the target demo for the production why do you care that someone else found joy in it? If the show is giving harmful lessons sure go off king, but for the most part the "haters" in the comments need to go outside touch some grass & have an interaction with a breathing human.
Fr. I don't remember MDL being that toxic back years ago. Now, it seems like people are making bunch of accounts…
I came across someone's profile who took it upon themselves to create an account and rate shows because they found that the ratings for shows were too high. Most of these shows aren't think pieces or high art...the rates is for vibes at least for me when I'm rating shows that are more on the idol/youth drama side of things. I swear they had dropped over 800 shows...that's actually insane behavior unless you are being paid to review or give first impressions of shows for a living. Anytime I see a youtuber review something and not yuck anyone else's yum but give valid feedback on what worked for them and what didn't I'm doing a happy dance and following and engaging in the comment section. I just don't get people who continue to start shows with a premise that they know they dislike or have actors that they know they dislike...why are they wasting their time? I just don't get it. Don't get me wrong there are shows that I will rip into because it was a case of I was rooting for you and you somehow pulled the rug. But unless I completely finish a project I don't rate it. There have only been 2 shows that I've dropped and still rated. I also have different rating scales for different types of productions because again...a youth drama is not the same as a deep melodrama with veteran actors and crew backing it.
I was so grateful when those around me stepped in when I went through medical issues similar to what she is currently going through. It took doctors a long time to realize that a lot of the physical issues I was having stemmed from sever depression and anxiety. They were causing physical symptoms that caused a drastic change in appearance and motor function. I'm so glad that she is receiving the proper treatment and willing and able to speak about her struggles more openly. Doing so can truly save a life, and I'm so glad she is still with us to tell her story.
Can't wait for how they will continue the story. I wonder if we'll get to see Jeong Jin Man's POV during those days after he was declared dead while Ji Ahn was holding it down. One of my top 3 overall shows of 2024. Probably my top show within it's genre.
Lets not share photos of someone in this state. Her friends and family have release photos that respect her privacy, but give updates. Lets not give the paps more reason to stalk her.
very nice production and directing, too bad I couldn't pass the poor acting & the lack of aura from the cp...
I say this with no ill will, but why do you continue to watch shows that you know you wont like only to drop them? I was trying to figure out where this comment came from perspective wise so I read your profile and checked out your lists to get a better understanding and I'm at a loss for why you would watch an "idol" drama when you can clearly see the cast list. I ask because for an "idol" drama the production/direction was some of the best I've seen all ear from the genre. It's not going to beat out the more dramatic dramas that have a higher quality/more experienced cast and crew, so why waste your time? Is it a hope that one day you might actually like this genre or...?
Things I will never understand. Users who create accounts just to leave hateful reviews but use no other aspect of this website. They don't keep track of the things they do like nor do they review anything that they enjoyed. They would just use their time to leave hateful reviews on well liked projects. It's worse when you can clearly tell that they didn't actually pay attention to the screen when the show was on. This and a few other shows that I've watched this year had the same issue after the show was finished airing. People who saw how popular the show was gives it a half-ass watch and then give their opinion. Everyone can have their own opinions on things, but when you fundamentally misunderstand the actual story...well...that's just lazy. Also truly can't take any review seriously that gave the Music/OST a low score...respectfully, you are full of shit.
I'm still so nervous to start this one, because of how many sad endings there have been lately in Cdrama world. If anyone is keeping up with the interviews of those involved with the production or aware of the IP and can tell me if this story has a happy ending or sad ending I would appreciate it.
The cast list is like a The Double reunion. But I'm here for it!! ๐
Third time for Liu Xie Ning & Wang Xing Yue...Story of Kunning Palace & The Double. & third time for Wang Xing Yue & Zhao Qing (scent of time & the double) But at least 4 actors from The Double overlap & My Journey To You little overlap as well. Same producer as The Double & Scent of Time so the casting makes sense. I feel like a lot of the guest roles will be played by people from Lost You Forever as that was the last project the director worked on before this one.
this better be good because I've been waiting for SO LONG!!!
It's every supporting male & female lead I've watched over the last year all in one show as an ensemble. Every show that I've watched I'll check to see what else they have been in will be in & I think I hit black out bingo by the 6th person. ๐๐
This is thanks to the director knowing what he wants the edit to be before shooting. a lot of the time you have…
Warning, about to nerd out again. I didn't realize I hadn't really spoken about this yet so it all just kind of came out all at once. TLDR: Director good, production๐๐ป Cinematography and lighting have always been my favorite aspects of film as a media. I majored in Fine Art with a concentration in Photography in college. Because film/television is such a visual language, so much can be said with silence if the right director is behind a project. A single frame can say more(express more story) than a page of dialogue, if done properly.
I'm very much a technical nerd when it comes to the productions of shows. So even the sound design, set design, location(and how it's utilized...these are all things I will think about at one point or another when watching something. A lot of the time I have to turn that side of my brain off or I can become too judgmental of certain production choices.
When people are watching the BTS for the actors interactions am looking around them at how the director set up the shot and what light scores they are utilizing.
Pretty sure it was this production that did a one shot that I really enjoyed. It was a fight scene on a boat. I believe when Song Mo surprised the pirates . It stood out because I don't normally see a director of a longer show take the time to get choreography down with the single camera move. (a one shot is when it's a continuous shot from one perspective without cutting away to a different camera. It takes a lot of rehearsal as everyone needs to hit their marks at the exact right time or you have to start all over again.) Some shows lately ONLY get the action sequences lit and set up to perfection and don't take the proper time to set up the smaller romantic moments. Simply staying on an actor as they take just a moment longer to catch their breath or hold their hand back. It's the detail shots that made this production my number one period drama of the year.
This drama has its own pleasing cinematography, usually prefer darker tones but for some reason I am drawn to…
This is thanks to the director knowing what he wants the edit to be before shooting. a lot of the time you have multiple cameras set up at once covering multiple angles....so you have to light the scene for ALL the cameras at one time. The method this director used was one camera with lighting specifically designed for that one camera shot. He also used practical lighting ttechniques that you cam see in a lot of the behind the scenes. For example, a lot of those close up shots at nighttime indoors...the is a mirrored plate of lit candles being held by a crew member. So think of it like a open book with two mirrors under & behind the candles to reflect more light. It softens the lighting & gives a more romantic undertone that is more subconscious for the viewer. Because he wasn't giving the editing team hours and hours of multi camera shots of the same scene the editing is cleaner overall. There are still some errors, but not as bad as I've seen in other dramas with a similar budget. He also put a LOT of the budget behind the costume department. The detail work on many of the leanding/supporting characters is amazing. Still waiting for some of my Chinese fashion YouTubers to do a deep dive on the costumes. okay nerd Ted talk over...im glad you're liking the show!
