I agree, I wondered if that’s the way it is in the novel. Actually the actress (fl) as you said is doing a good job but it would have been better if she really wasn’t portrayed so annoyingly.

Love this, over the top ‘let me give you a few slaps’ princess, a jail time, no good palace drama without it, behind the scenes manipulation, unrequited love, deaths, wars, betrayals and a few good make and female buddies. What more do you need in a drama? Am not talking about eye candies now folks😀

My true enjoyment of this is being wrecked by Youku. I am a VIP member but I can’t access English Subtitles at all for the last week on ALL programs. The customer service team is totally ‘pant!’ So I have cancelled my subscription. Truly useless!!
