Title Vanished Name Spoiler
Same here. I almost made myself sick crying when they opened that “basement” hatch. I think one of the flaws…
I initially thought that she was just an angry teen but she is like that in adulthood! 🤦‍♀️

wenyuxiu is baishu's mom?
Those other thoughts crossed my mind but I didn’t think about Xiaofei and that would explain why she favours him regardless.
Also remember the hospital scene with him brushing WY’s hair. The look on RMY could be telling too. 👏 . Like the way you think!

Episodes after 30 aren’t as entertaining. Sometimes it feels like the story is moving too fast, yet still somehow…
I truly agree with this comment.

Wooo, I couldn’t place her till you said this. Bad kids!
I hear you! I think these new episodes are good. With cdramas, I always feel as if the writers can’t handle how to end shows well. But let’s be positive 🤩! Have a great evening

True but I think the FL has every right to string everyone along - what I like about her is she is not a people…
I concur. Your observations are bang on too. I think the master is the black clad dude

Not harassment and not bullying when you know the kind of woman or man you want he knows she will suffer in that…
Her bad! She did not handle that well. I get it, but it’s somewhat uncomfortable, the relentlessness of his courtship.

It's because FL strings him along & gives mixed signals. She didn't tell him to get out when she saw him in…
These are interesting points and I did see these, but they are portraited, in my humble view, as pressurising. Regardless of his feelings for her or her marriage, he should be there as a support, adviser and ‘lover’.
He clearly knows her challenges but he aggressively puts her into awkward situations and applies pressure.
Don’t get me wrong, I like his character, somewhat, but not in this. I would rather it was done differently and she comes to him because she appreciates his love and support not being pushed physically, mentally abused and always in her face.

You are absolutely right though, she handled it wrong from the get go! Nor was she firm enough.

I think its doing fairly well with history buffs. But the confusing beginning and some of the more opaque political…
You are of course right and I have to keep reminding myself to simply enjoy it for what it is, which is a well written historical story and soak in the tapestry of what’s being told.
Thank you Megumi

You are right on both points. Non toxicity and informative all round.
