All I see is a character that has many layers. If as some spoilers suggest that she is a plant by lunatic LY, then she is doing an amazing job of being pathetic and making sure that she is not discarded by ML. However, if she is just some girl mooning over a man then she does appear to be weak and ridiculous. But we fail to realise that we are meant to think that she is gray, weak and is possibly downright dangerous. With these in mind, I think the character is serving its purpose

I totally agree with this point. I think she hates the fact that she expected too much of herself. I think she is disgusted but her actions and that guilt is driving her behaviour. She doesn’t love ANYONE but her siblings right now.
