he def feels inferior in the episode I just watched there was a scene where he says “what could i give her?”.. but yeah it is so weird how held back he is.. i seriously think he made a promise to his sick mother to marry rong or something like that (but nothing was mentioned at this point, so we can only imagine what was his reasons to never pursue FL even though he is interested)

i never said sml love her… like I mentioned I’m stil at the beginning episode 9, so what I’ve seen on the last college days was that he regretted not taking her side on the interview issue, so he tried to help her with her dissertation, then he tried to apologize and on their goodbye he hinted that he wanted a second chance but she didn’t understand (she thought he was talking about a second chance with rong), so she said “yes” to the second chance and he smiled.. so what I’m saying is that he was interested in dating FL but No, I am not saying that is good enough for her. and yes I agree that he has no attitude, even the apology and the flirting was the minimum minimum possible hahaha I seriously dont know how can a character has that little attitude 🤣

(taking the fact that I’m very behind episode 9 now) it feels so weird to me, because he clearly likes FL and at their goodbye he was hinting her like “will I have another chance?”, and she wasnt even understanding but said yes and he was so happy (which was cute) but then to his mom and brother looks like he made a promise to a dying person that he will commit to rong in the future but to rong’s face he’s like “no, we will never be together”… so he gives different perspectives to me

what was his deal with rong that kept him from accepting xiguang? he obv hates rong but cant say no to her (i’m still on episode 8)

the accident happened because he was on his way to see her, but apparently she didn’t know, it was his friend who told him that she wanted to see him. I’m on ep 8 and he still has no clue, do you know if he will only find out on episode 22? I saw someone saying on one old comment but can’t find it again…

episode 7 and I am still cheering for that zhuang xu guy but like what holds him back? what is his deal with that annoying rong girl? also I saw an old comment that ML only knows FL didn’t invite him before the first accident in like episode 22 is that true? he just tried to mention on episode 7 and she was like what are you talking about.. spoil me people please! and what is suppose to be their ages ML 29 and FL 23ish?

I saved the movie to my watchlist but not yet… the series was just painfully boring for me it felt like homework I just wanted to finish. I only regret watching like 3 shows (i hear you, miss the dragon and this one
