Okay, thanks. Given that I am not a 'fan' as such - I am not (usually) interested in the private lives of actors, etc. - I don't know about these things. However, out of curiosity I looked online for information re "Considering all the drama surrounding the director and the two leads, " but found nothing other than another scandal involving one of the support actors. Oh well.
Why can't Esther talk like this in all her dramasðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Oh god, yes! Totally agree. Took me a long while to realise that they were NOT two different people! Usually, I would not watch her dramas (or cringe throughout, if I did. I had to really like the ML!) because I hate that childish voice.
There’s a lot to love about this drama, but I just can’t bring myself to like the male lead. I hate pretty…
Nuatn: Do you know for a fact that there will not be a season or are you going on the general 'track record' of Chinese dramas over the years? (When I watched this months ago I thought that the drama was deliberately unfinished because they intended to do a second season.)
I mean, he only started to adore her after she seduced him into sleeping with her. Before that, he treated her…
You wouldn't usually see this in a Chinese costume drama and I can't speak for Chinese (and Koreran) men in real life (as they are brought up differently in respect to love , sex, and marriage) but speaking as a westerner, it is quite usual (from a psychological standpoint) for women to fall in love before sex and men to fall in love after it.
The subtitles everywhere are only auto-generated. It's not released internationally and not translated in English.
I will try to find a few when I have time - if they are still there. (Give me a few days.) I shall have to look for some episode s and then try up to six different posters to find out which are best - although, by this time many will be gone. What I might do is just give you the names of posters who (usually) have the better ones. So, if I give you one or two links for the first two episodes. you can see how to search for others. (Tip: bookmark some of the pages and you can always see what different people tend to upload.

I watched it on dailymotion (or possibly bilibili - I can't remember) and the subs were fine. (I have found up to three different versions of an episode (copied and posted by up to eight different people) of one drama or another on dailymotion. I keep trying until I find one which has been manually translated. This usually happens more with Chinese historical dramas. I have got quite used to the names of some of the uploaders and can usually tell who will have upload a better subbed copy. The down side is that some posters remove episodes quite quickly. or mark the episodes as private.
Why does gu-deok's servant sounds and acts like a retarded person? It's f.king annoying to watch and what's even…
What does a 'retarded' person sound and act like, then, Fatma? Are you referring to those with 'Down's Syndrome or low-functioning autism, perhaps? Are you not aware that this dehumanising term is now frowned upon around the world? It's right up there with the n****r word (and a few others like it). I can only hope that you are extremely young and very stupid and that you may yet mature and realise just how bigotted you are. What you call people is how you treat them. Your comment was, and I paraphrase, "annoying to read and what's more, I'm trying hard to endure" your particular brand of immaturity, discrimination, and (whether intended or not) hate-mongering.

I know what you are saying - about women having no rights, etc. (I have known for years!) But punishing a woman for having a period... Supposedly, (in the drama) the punishment was not for having a period, per se, but for attending a rite whilst on a period when she knew that she was not allowed to.
What on earth have I just watched? Please, please, somebody explain (or not)!
A few minutes in and a 'princess' is led into the hall in 'handcuffs'. She was on death row because she refused to be punished for menstruating during an ancestral rite and then asking for a divorce when the man (presumably) complained. What!? I get (for the purposes of this drama) the 'how dare a woman ask for a divorce' bit, but really, how is a woman to blame for her periods coinciding with anything? And the next bit... Is this a pastiche variant of makjang / dog's blood? Dare I continue watching?
