Infuriating mom

I suppose this story is about mother and daughter relationship, and honestly, i cant imagine myself being smothered by an infuriating, and very materialistic mom. She's supposed to care for her children (but most favored the daughter and ignored the son), who wants people to be jealous of her status, and kids achievements. The forced engagement really is turns me off and i fast forward some scene cause the scene with the mom is so annoying
