Alan will be Jim's second love interest. When Jim realizes that Wen is taken, Alan will appear in his life and give him a safer option than Wen (since Wen is taken). And Kaipa is Wen's boyfriend. So yes Wen started flirting and more with Jim when he was still with his boyfriend Kaipa.
