It depends on both their schedules but I've read they start in 🍉 August & yes Ding Yuxi is still filming until between June/July so we'll have to wait for more updates from their studios or those 🍉 accounts

Yes it is even tho the network didn't announce the leads yet they both showed up on location for script-reading, make-up/hair, costume fitting etc. The booting ceremony will start on June 30th.
