They are still filming otherwise the production team would've posted news/reuters/photos online of the wrap up/closing ceremony if they were finished

They are still filming I've read comments on Zhang Linghe's page saying they will wrap up around May, editing takes a year to do so we won't expect this until 2027

Most likely yes even if it passes censorship & gets a distribution license the network won't air it right away since they have to broadcast other dramas too. They have to plan an investment promotional event for the cast & figure out a monthly time slot whenever they decide to air it. After all China is VERY strict w/ their laws/rules & regulations.

She said in her livestreams before that she is reading scripts but she doesn't plan on taking new projects yet since she has been dealing w/ her mental health after all she can relapse at any moment when the time comes for her she will let her fans know eventually

Oh my bad I thought u mean't another actress as for Tian Xiwei it depends on her if she accepts the role or not who knows, I was also hoping Sun Zhenni would take the project since she has a guest role on Gong Jun's historical drama that she is currently filming since she's not the main character but we'll see who will be the actress they will cast in the end.
