Censorship is a big deal in China tho if we get Wei Shao from the novel version they would've never aired this…
It's the Chinese govt they make the law/rules/regulations they pass it onto any network/production teams whenever they adapted a novel into a drama they tend to change/remove/add characters even most/some of the things that are way too dark/inappropriate bc of their reputation or being a good influence to their citizens which is very important over there it's just been that way for years now. We have no choice but to abide by them that's how strict they have become lately.

I've heard that TJOL is possibly rumored for June but then again who knows the network can be unpredictable when choosing which drama they will air next *sigh*

I believe her illness takes a while which cannot be rushed after all she can relapse at any moment, we'll never know unless her studio gives us an update when she is ready to come back from her doctor's orders so we have to be patient in the meantime no matter how long it takes
