I love the main OST sung by LYN. He has such a beautiful voice suitable to sing songs for Wuxia. He's really turning into my fave new leads. He still has a long way to go but what a talented young man.

Right QZ is a big softie and is sensitive which is what I like about him. Clever to boot otherwise he would not have found out about her being a Scarlet Guard from small clues.

In the character flow chart, there is a line from LTG to Princess Yang Ying. Does that mean he becomes Emperor uniting the different nations and Yang Ying becomes his Empress. If so, that means what Ruyi said to both of them comes true.

Ruyi to YY: If you are willing to study hard, you may become a more powerful woman than your sister in-law.
Ruyi to LTG: Remember this humiliation and you won't lose again.

LGT is an interesting one. On one hand, he cares for the people and doesn't want the An Emperor to carelessly seek out wars. On the other hand, he has an inferiority complex about his identity that plagues him and has an infatuation with his shifu.

I wonder if he will be the one that gets the throne by the end of the drama. I can't be arsed about his relationship with the Princess but I hope she lives well. I see people don't like her because she's too arrogant and what not but when you are loved and cherished as a royal Princess, you have confidence in your abilities. Our Princess Yang Ying had to experience a lot for a shred of affection so you see the difference there.

Now I really want them to get to An!

If Ning wasn't demoted the wedding would've gone through and she looks like she likes him. Thank goodness he got demoted than lol

The Princess is going to be an avid brothel customer from the looks of it. She was having a grand ol' time and YL was fighting demons. Give me more scenes of our leads with their godchildren lol

I think it was more that they didn't want to kill them unless they had to. The poisoning was to weaken them and hopefully get them to surrender before anymore casualties. They already lost so many shitty wars, why continue to have your countrymen suffer more. If they followed Ruyi's suggestion to kill the General early, they could've suffered less but then we wouldn't have the delegation drawing closer and closer.

Right. The way YL played it off was brilliant but the way he laughed made the improv so well.

QZ's laugh when the grapes got stuck in YL's hair made me laugh.

I wonder why Chief Jin is withholding information about Jiu from Ruyi. She knows he's the new Marquis but is considering something which is why she didn't say it out loud.

I think she doesn't want Ruyi to worry if she finds out LTT is part of the court now and whatever ensues from there.
