she is rumored to be on harper's bazaar [like its 99% confirmed] not VOGUE
Harper's Bazaar appears to be confirmed, but the new melon is the upcoming Vogue China issue which is the highly anticipated 20th anniversary edition, celebrating two decades since the magazine's founding. The issue aims to spotlight several heavyweights in the Chinese fashion industry, and Baba is rumoured to be one of the seven stars featured on the cover.
It’s possible she could appear in both magazines. Under Margaret Zhang’s tenure, VC enforced an exclusivity policy, preventing talent from appearing in other publications within the same month if they were slated for Vogue. However, with Rocco Liu now at the helm, that rule seems to have been relaxed.
Sword Rose is the drama I'm most looking forward to because its a reflection of how hard Baba has worked to get where she is today. Back in 2014, a fresh faced Baba played an extra in Cosmotology High and Jin Shi Jia was the ML. Now, shes not only the FL alongside him but first billed in a much anticipated drama. I hope she continues on such a high for a very long time.
Firstly, I have to call out mintasha’s obsession with RM, no offense to the designer, but why? As for Baba,…
It drives them crazy because some of their artists might have industry acceptance, they still lack audience driven capital which is what Baba has in droves which is also multigenerational. They should count their blessings that Baba has only just managed to get herself another movie role, using her own resources otherwise, their talents wouldve even see half of the success they have today. I hope she gets more films because then they will really be doomed. Good luck trying to slander SR because thats a CCTV backed drama and they dont take lightly to dramas promoting public safety being slandered.

Definitely agree there that there has been some underhandedness happening within the industry. A few of us were discussing it earlier too. I am sending her nothing but blessings. A few of us noticed how he styles others well relies on Baba's status and beauty to drive his styling. Its lazy work. Agreed, i remember a former employee of a "water army" company said Baba was the most in demand for agencies to pay money to slander . Its very sad.

Rahul Mishra is a talented designer but Min Rui takes some of his most lacklustre designs, in this case he's combined one dress with a flower pin which is his stylist go to. I feel like the only reason this look feels a little elevated is because its a Mikimoto event. If it were any other event, he would choose an outlandish dress and call it a day - no jewellery, lined eyes, and a bold lip.
Our drought is over guys. Sword rose is coming on July 12https://x.com/Adecty/status/1940582575455850582
Yes, our Queen will grace our soons soon. Her upcoming dramas are the top two dramas on Tencent release! Shout out to our Alices in China for really pumping up momentum for her upcoming projects.
Now that the drama has ended, there's this lingering sense of emptiness and feeling unresolved. It feels as though there should be one more episode or one more scene. But maybe that’s exactly what the writers intended, to leave us with tension and ambiguity. By not tying everything up neatly, they’ve created a sense of mystery that keeps the story alive in our minds, even after the final credits roll. This is the second kdrama I've finished this year so I kinda miss it.

It seems like all my predictions are slowly coming true. Lets hope this one pans out.
He's smaller than I imagined.
