This is exactly what I imagine romance would be like: the kind of no-frills but utterly heartfelt feelings, the kind of love that finds its meaning in the most simple of things, but still so touching that it leaves one wanting for more. The yearning, mutual understanding and empathy in the way they look at each other is so palpable. I really think 'less is more' is the right way to describe the romance here and the production team has been successful in executing it.

I'm disappointed at Yeo Hwa's reaction to learning her husband is still alive. If I had been stuck in a house…
I think it's because it's been too long since she even cared or attached any meaning to the meaningless mourning. She is fed up with it, yes, but she's not one to bottle things up and then feel betrayed at the end. She's the one to take action, and she hit the breaking point long long ago, when she jumped over the wall in an attempt to run away, until she saved Yeon Seon and chose to go back into the house to live under the mask and save people. The latter is her new found meaning in life, and the mourning is nothing but just part of the mask she dons during the day. I guess when she has found meaning and a goal to live, she doesn't care whether the husband is alive or dead. The only waste to her 15 years is to live under the impression that she has gained a father when he's actually her arch enemy. She has shown her anger, betray and hurt, and that is justified. I'm looking forward to when she finds out he was the one to cause her brother's (possible) death. That would be when all hell breaks loose for him. The husband's return is really nothing compared to everything else that has happened.
