I finishing up watching Back from the Brink again, and just realize they should end the drama on episode 38 where they destroyed the Phantom Aura’s physical body with a cliff hanger, so that they can extend the story to season 2 with extended storyline, new characters, better CGI, better choreography fighting (similar to Key to the Phoenix Heart), and the army battle against the Phantom Aura and its army. There we can revisit our beloved characters and the continuation of Tianyao and Yanhui love story. How cool would that be?!?!

Rewatching for the third time, I think this drama is better than Pursuit of Jade. Don’t get me wrong, POJ is good, but KTTPH is much better in all aspect. I think the drama would have a higher rating if they have more promotion and advertising. And there are so many people who have issue with the age that it hurt the rating of this drama. It is sad to see the drama didn’t get the best rating it deserved for the quality overall. People can comment, but should not rate something they did not watch or due to personal opinion that is not related to the drama itself.

You are wrong in so many ways. Finish the drama and see if you still think this way. Plus, he develop feelings for her before he knew she and Li Mao like each other. I don’t think you watch close enough to understand the development of the storyline. You might want to rewatch the second time. Hard to catch everything through subtitle and sometime subtitle translation may be confusing too.

OMG, this drama is epic! Every single episode is so good. Kicking off with the epic fire sword fighting to the blind folded archery and a beautiful ending. Full of love, but no kissing. They pull it off so beautifully and did not offense anyone. Each character end beautifully with tears. I mean you will change your view on how you see each character. For the last three episodes, you have to watch it back to back to built that intense, on your toes feeling and infuse in the ending. watch and read carefully when they explain why the ending is that way before you judge. One of the best show I has seen and by far the best this year. Just give yourself one episode and I know you will be hooked.

I think the rating would have been higher if it wasn’t for ppls who complain for the age. I think those rating should be remove. The rating is for the show, not personal issue they have.
