Pretty much nothing happened other than Nakhun's father finding out that Phatsa is the pure omega that he has…
I donât know, Nakhunâs way of wording the completed bond thing had me laughing so hard because that cringe moment is exactly how I feel whenever a straight couple says to me theyâre âtryingâ đ€Ł that moment made the whole episode for me.
Some of the stray thoughts that entered my head during this episode:
-Phatsaâs dad looks like a slightly older version of Shane from Heated Rivalry
-These servants sure have a lot of gall bossing around their bosses in this show, first with all that force-feeding of the smoothies and now not letting Nakhun out of bed⊠someone wouldâve been fired quick
-Everyone in this show looks like they wandered in from a different 1980âs music video with their hairstyles (Nakhun is from Flock Of Seagulls, Phatsaâs got Judd Nelson Breakfast Club Hair, Nakhunâs brothers look like Duran Duran, that poor unfortunate servant has Linda Ronstadtâs 80âs bob, the Mom looks like she should be holding a guitar behind Robert Palmer, the villainous guy with the bad acting has Huey Lewis & the News hair⊠itâs all sooooo over the top)
-I wonder if I could meet the person who came up with this Omegaverse concept at Folsom Street Fair because all this terminology has strong ties to the kink community (but Iâm unsure if the people who are fans of it, just based on what Iâve read on here and on ABO Desireâs or PitBabeâs pages, understand what theyâre saying when they use the terms)
-Nakhunâs dadâs emotional turn around made no sense to me⊠do Alphaâs go through menopause?
-The villain guy with the bad acting got lectured by a servant⊠but the servantâs suit was not fitted correctly and it was really distracting.
-Phatsaâs suit also doesnât fit well and at first I thought it was a maternity suit (then I started googling if they make maternity suits because that would be cute)
Final Thought - This was an 8 episode show they s t r e e e e e e t c h e e e e d into 12 episodes.
why are all thai dramas lgbtq+? no shade but i just want to know
Having lived here for 5 years now (I came from the US), I can tell you it is definitely not âmostâ. Around 1/4 of tv here is BL/GL or LGBTQ (admittedly, thatâs much more than most countries). But it is increasing, and itâs doing so at the behest of the government. The Thai BL industry is a big money-maker in foreign money coming into the country. I attended a panel a year ago where the former Prime Minister and Director of BL Programming at GMM spoke about increasing BL output because of its international popularity and soft-power for raising awareness of Thai culture around the world. The current Prime Minister hasnât been quite as supportive, and there have been many more raids on LGBT businesses in recent months (particularly those that cater to foreigners).
For a moment, I got really irritated by the enormous plot hole in this episode, but then I remembered the goal of this show is to knock-up men, and then I calmed down.
Iâm sorry but the hairstyles in this series are really bad⊠did the stylist come out of a coma they fell into after overdosing at a Mötley CrĂŒe concert in 1987?!
And in the opening credits, why is Oat dressed Vampire Lucy from Bram Stokerâs Dracula?!
This whole thing is fantasy. I live in Silom and hang out on the street where they filmed the exteriors (which by the way, is one alley that they shoot from multiple angles to make it look bigger than it is). You shouldnât take ANY of this a realistic example of their culture⊠that would be like watching Cinderella to learn about France. This has nothing to do with Silom, itâs just make-believe.
(Iâm not saying those places donât exist, they do⊠but the ones that are dancing only are across town⊠the ones in this part of town, the dancers wear nearly no clothing [in Thailand it is illegal to go nude, however, due to a loophole, condoms are considered clothing] and are strictly sex workers. Everyone in the place is, the waiters, dancers, bartenders⊠even the dj was bought one night and they just plugged in an iPhone and ran Spotify for the night.)
Why do WeTV do this - episode 8 is supposed to be available on 29 May - four days ago - but they say it has to…
Thais had a long weekend for the holiday, so they made the episode available online for people to binge watch earlier than the regular air date for a fee (because nightclubs & bars closed)
It annoys me too, because the story and the main characters' relationship were really developing nicely in the…
Talking and communicating with words, sharing oneâs feelings, is not Thai culture. All of my Thai friends here brag about being jealous and toxic, those things are considered virtues in Thailand and signs of love.
yes omg this drives me crazy the fact some people watch this and confidently rate it a 10 it feels crazy
Thank you! Like every measure is not good. The editing of the scenes is confusing or choppy, the translation is way off (the doctor gave 1 guy medicine to treat his cervix), the ADR and foley work is not good⊠thatâs not even counting the story which seems like it was written by an 8 year old who just saw Scarface for the first time.
anyone else skip the entirety of the side couple scenes?
The second couple are the only problem I have with this series. Theyâre boring, the most chaste âslutty coupleâ ever in a BL, and the fashion kidâs HMU team did him dirty. He looks like a special effect from a Lord of the Rings movie with that bad styling⊠and his Tinglish is bad, but probably the only thing I pay attention to. Although I think the knitting hobby was a nice touch.
I like this except the way they dressed the weird second couple fashion kid like a space alien in every episode. I donât know what they did to him but I am sideways on the couch and I cannot get a focal point. What did they do to his poor face?! Iâve seen his IG, he does not really look like that. Seriously, every time heâs on screen I just get dizzy and start crying.
I'm not anti-therapy, I have had therapy, but it isn't culturally appropriate for everyone. Not everyone who has…
It sounds like you donât know what therapy is. Not all therapy is talk therapy, and some types do involve experiential activities. But without a trained practitioner to guide the patient through the process, there is not much progress made and can actually inflict further harm or reinforce traumatic stimuli.
My wild, left-field theory is that Mawinâs father is actually Pond⊠because that is the only way this show makes sense in my head. And I donât know why every tv show character named Akin has to be a total d-bagâŠ
Iâm doing a rewatch because I love their other series and itâs not going well. Iâm on the episode I dropped…
I got all the way to the end and realized I did finish this series but blocked it from my mind. After having been in Thailand for several years now, I know that all that shipping nonsense really does go on here. Iâve had discipline problems in classes because couples were being harassed by outsiders or other students. That didnât upset me as much as it does now because Thailand doesnât have privacy laws like the United States. Itâs very sad how real this series actually is.
The dad - âI canât let my son live in sin!â
Me - âBaby, he been livin in sin for 10 episodes! Where the hell have you been?!â

They really dressed poor Salin like he was going to a gay funeral in New Orleans in every episode.
Sunâs butt looks good covered in blue paint.
Sam is jacked!
Still terrible writing but more enjoyable after not expecting it to be good.
I think I hate it even more now.
