My 1st time watching Won Ji An drama. Love her and her dresses in this drama. An underrated actress.
I started this drama after trying to finish Sticky in Love (but could not). Ended bingeing this drama. Loves their squabbles. Would be great if they pair Won Ji An and Jung Hae In. :-)
Overall, the drama plots could get confusing with all the timeline switching.

I like the FL in TYAL. Was looking fwd to her drama with JHI. Another of my fav actor. But the FL was kinda cringey/artificial in this drama i find it abit hard to continue after Episode 2. Or maybe she was like this since the genre was partly "comedy"? Does it get better after Ep2?

Before i start with this drama, anyone knows if this is HE or SE? Allen Ren has a tendency to end his drama with SE. Please add spoiler to your reply if you know the answer.

I cant remember them often partner up with younger male leads except maybe Yang Mi, Dilraba.

As far i can remember, Dylan Wang, Leo Wu, Zhang Ling He, Chen Zhe Yuan are all below 30. Mid-20s. Name me male actors that are around 40 yo. Not many that are still very active. eg Chen Xiao, Wallace Huo, Eddie Peng. i'm not being a sexist, but i do love to see couples with nearer age gap. I'm ok with 2 - 3 years age gap but anything more than 5 years would generally show in the outlook. Anyway, everyone free to have their own preference.

Ok. So, for the sake of female fans, only young male actors are acceptable. For female leads, it doesnt matter how old they are as there are minimal male fans.

What happen??? Has China run out of older male actors or mature looking actors??? Fated Hearts and now Fight for Love.

When will they release the express episodes?

Any romance in this drama? Would LOVE to see some romance between the ML and FL here.

There is some deja vu about POB with JTL. They have few Generals under the ML in both dramas. who grow from hate to love towards the FL. Accckkk!!!

I want to watch....... BUT....will it be a HE??? Chinese costume dramas has a habit of having more Open Ending or SE.

The ending has a Vibe for Season 2. Eg. Carefree Land in trouble, ML goes back to human world to seek help eg. moon bugs or etc. They found another pass that allows ML to go to/fro the 2 realms.
Which recent costume cdramas has HE??? I know Legend of ShenLi has HE but the ML was also 'killed off' before he was brought back to life again.

i agree. Been a long time since i actually binge watching on a costume cdrama (cos i discover this drama late) and enjoying every episodes of it. The last costume cdrama that I enjoy was Legend of ShenLi. None other costume dramas had me hooked as much as LOSL and TDHR. But I'm not so much a costume drama person. Prefer modern drama.
I tried watching Song Zuer, To Fly with You and Legally Romance after seeing her in TDHR. Couldn't manage hold it after a few episodes. Awaiting for her upcoming costume drama, Prisoner of Beauty.

Thanks. I watched The First Frost, The Best Thing and Loves Amidst a Snowstorm. They are Lovely. The last 2 modern cdramas were a disappointment (at least to me), ie Eat Run Love and Such a Good Love. Filter was pretty meh too. I read good reviews on Love Me, Love My Voice. Will definitely put it in my to-watch list. I'm currently bingeing on TDHR. Slowly changing my opinion on costume cdramas. LOL. Seems they have much more interesting stories. The last costume dramas that had me hooked was Legend of ShenLi. Love it.

Came here after being disappointed with modern cdramas, Such a Good Love and Eat Run Love. Not really a costume drama person but once I watched the preview of this, I'm HOOKED! Am at Ep12 and slowly catching up. Enjoying every episode. Not a fan of Allen Ren due to his poker face and never heard of Song Zu Er. But I'm now a fan of both. LOL. Glad to finally have Chinese costume drama saving me from the terrible storyline of modern cdramas.
