The truth about her PhD? I mean why would she? They are not dating as such and to suddenly say, BTW, i have PhD is not something most would do. Sure, if he would ask her about her school or university but he never did. He also has not directly acknowledged that he is interested in her in romantic way till later, much later. So at this stage they both have secrets and i think it is reasonable .

I am not watching VIP but i did see a number of cut scenes on twitter and in my opinion they do add to the story. Like scene where he is getting a taxi for her and waiting to pick her up,
