Yeah SLH was missing in action, he was called away, which I find such wasted, he should have stay and help…sigh. SLH has his own Obession.

TLC reminded XFT what she truly wanted, which is freedom, and at the final arc when she realizes that GMD/YM will not truly release her instead wants to absorb her powers to bring YM/YQYY back, she chooses to die and deflect her power off by also killing the puppet GMD, her act cause an impact on YM, which then TLC can take the opportunity to stab him. And in that choice, she made for herself is what she feels as freedom.

GMD doesn’t die as he is one of the puppet, there are other puppets which Ye Mo kept his traces of soul which will only revealed in last ep.
TLC didn’t realise that, so XFT is still working with GMD to infiltrate the Alliance and they can kill Master Shao using the part that TLC hide Liu Yan away so to make antidote and only Master Shao knows and been sending the necessary herbs to LY to experiment antidote.
XFT didn’t change direction, it’s what TLC said to her and reminded her what she wants and in the end she chooses to sacrifice herself and not let her powers be absorb to bring YeMo back. There is really a lot of plot happening 😅. I can share some here but still not really complete, apology if I confuses you further😅.

Yeah, same here. Although I love both leads, this storyline will not be something I will continue;). I will stick to just enjoying SToDT3.

TLC and feels that his faith is injustice and he gone through so much and still doesn’t get a happy ending. But he did as he was born, he doesn’t know love, things were conditioned around him, till he met FZ and his gang, till he met his birth mom, and many new friends, does he realise he had been loved and he wants to do in his ability to save them all. But we will still grief for his character…the almost omnipotent sacrifices….just wish he can be worshipped as the savior or at least someone knew him. 😓
I actually felt XFT’s choice she made for herself is the most novel act of all being human…the rest of the human died without much choice. She is to me the best grey character I love. lol.

Yes, I do feel that similarity from TTJ/DMG, he transcends to the celestial realm and yet suffered and then sacrifice in the end for humanity but still was forgotten. Wish there is a possibility that they know him and worship him😓.

I agreed with the overuse of flashbacks. I do encourage that you watch till the end, as it’s actually rewarding, especially TLC and GUI MuDan’s interaction.;)

Master Shao, Chi Yun, Liu Yan, XFT and the world almost collapsed till TLC does his sacrifice act.
He reverse time to an even earlier stage where Ye Mo was never descend to earth.
While TLC was busy trying to make antidote, cure Chi Yan, he neglected the sect and XFT can be very manipulative with her words and she was using her action showing the sect people how she contributed greatly in wiping FengLiu Dian, so how she manages to make TLC the scapegoat was progressively.
If you watch the ep., you will see how it happen, XFT is able to play with the suspicious mind of people.

Yes!!!LYX still goes for this type of bittersweet ending, sacrifice for greater good…can’t he have a happy ending for XianXia or fantasy drama😓😓😓???!!!

The ending reminds me very much like Demon Hunter ending, which won’t be preferred by a lot of viewers, but it is necessary from TLC’s point of view; like the ML in Demon Hunter, sacrifice to bring back his love ones. For TLC, he once had it and it’s enough for him.😭😭😭

Wow!!! I finished and I need time to recover the emotional rollercoaster, although I kind of expect this will be how it will end…seeing the emotional events till it completes to the end. I am satisfied!
