Oooh…do share;). What’s the other top 2 on your list. You are absolutely right that we rarely have viewers asking whether it’s logical ending or whether ending is satisfactory…😅
The whole conversation with Feng Lang is hilarious XDPS: the actor is really handsome. First time I see him in…
Yes agreed, the fake FengLang is very good looking. I first saw him in FoF and one of the Tomb Raiders series, he is always supporting cast, think this drama, he has more screen time..
Feel a bit sorry for Shen Yiqun. Whatever he is. He loves Siyun and Cheng Ao. I like Cheng Ao and Siyun scenes…
I don’t think Shen YiQun know about his child being save, as he makes it clear to Cheng Ao that he doesn’t want anything to do with that woman. So Cheng Ao just settled her quietly. I do think although there is a lot of political backdrop hindrance their friendship, they are still truly loyal to each other to some extend.
Also, how did Wen and Yi find themselves so poor and losing connection with their son? Did they join another movement?…
It’s indeed rush… Wen and YiYi can never be rich as the earlier phase of communist practice, all their salary were state money, so they can never earn profit. So they have to live with lots of limit. His son have very different beliefs and I guessed that’s why he wanted his daughter to used his wife surname and so she will not be tied to the communist practice. Think the drama cannot spell out exactly as it may run in trouble with censorship. But if you understand their political practice in those days, that could be what happened. Let’s see whether anyone else has a different understanding in this.;)
To say I was very excited after seeing the BTS fight scene n how ChiLam was in there was an understatement! Then…
Yup, your comments are spot on. Partly I was wondering whether this plot is self aware, hence the silliness and over the top comedy seems to be the focus. The fight choreography is good. Watching this, I won’t be surprised by the plot as it’s all spell out, I am more interested to see how CY pull of his dorky self in WuXia world. lol!
