There will be another similar question I have for author…why did he write so many women obsessed with a plain looking male lead who has no major interest in romance?
It’s sad to know of Chen Qiao Quran’s ending in the original story. She deserves better. But it make sense, for logical reasons of how HanLi has killed her fiancé, he can never admit to it and he has to stay far away from her and so it doesn’t complicated matter for him.
In the drama, the HanLi here didnt give me any sense that he likes her, so not sure they will show that he will weep for her.

This part of the script is like those typical police drama, the villian are beaten away by the leads, then the police arrives🤣😅.

Wow!!! Ep 19 is another exciting exhilarating ep., the fight scenes were good. Han Li kept abandoning his Senior Chen and I wonder is there any side effects in constantly eating those memory loss pills…😅🤣She should really stay away from him, he is not good for her.

It’s okay, I am expecting this may be nearing the end. But it’s sweet, WXY always has good chemistry with all his co-star. If you watch on, you will feel his strong chemistry with the guard, the coroner and his the other childhood competitor. lol!

Hahhaha…yup dramatic and creativity from the director’s perspective to capture audience.

Yeah, it’s the writing here. They are childhood sweethearts and the show only starts to show us their romance building later. But be prepared that this drama is not focusing on romance, rather on the detective and conspiracy.;)

Yeah, no fun being immortal, can’t enjoy anything about life accept for not dying🤣. It’s like a living artifact, pointless.

I agreed with this observation. He felt indebted because his teacher Mo asked him to keep a look out for them, and she once save him but I don’t think he is romantically attracted to her. Heart broken indeed.

Yup, I agree with you. He feels but he maintains detach as he has the wisdom to know their paths are different. He is focus on his own cultuvation goal, Thats for sure.

I really can’t see Yang Yang being ‘plain-looking’…and knowing that of course he will attract the girls and sometimes even the boys…wahahah.
But I know HanLi as a character is suppose to be ‘so plain looking’. 🤣😅

Ms Mo is such a self aware, smart and independent character, such a great FL by design can be very suitable for ML but alas, she has no spiritual root.

Love or romance is just not HanLi’s priority yet he kept attracting them.🤣
