Yup, give another few more ep. RenMing is quite suitable for this role, her voice and acting suits the character. I guess it’s because the story starts in the middle where lots of her background situation were narrated along the ep., hence it can feel a bit weird. Till ep 5, I find the story became clearer.

Yup the latest ep., she realised that although the prescription was from ancient book, she only found out that it is harmful. She was contemplating on whether to tell him. However Granny reminded her that ML survives now on false hope, so she didn’t tell the truth. That has been her struggle since she knew the baby may not be saved. She is also unwilling to accept her love one is dead hence still searching. The theme of accepting the truth or hold on to even the slightest hope will be a resurfacing arc. We probably only see the growth in the end.

I used to watch j drama in the past, but as sometimes their stories tends to be repetitively and focus on triggering strong emotions, so I tend to be very selective on J title. I am watching Shogun, it’s pretty good too.
