I think more like CJM figured out LSS is YXW and wanted to reconcile but she is afraid of having any connection with him and rejected him. They may push and pull for a while, however feels less angst and more sweetness. Think they do get together for a while.

Not soul shifting. YXW and LSS is the same person. YXW is actually a fragment of LSSās soul in the novel. I donāt think the drama change that. It will be revealed later.
