That’s the great part of this script writing, giving depth to the major characters. Really enjoy the complexity between the Emperor and the Princess. Sometimes I really can’t figure out the Emperor’s thought process.

Not yet, first 3 ep was about setting up the leads crossing paths and a little of their background. Quite action pack. Then ep 4 is only when ML seek FL out and they are still suspicious of each other.
After 4 ep., I like the pacing, the fight/action choreography is pretty good, the chemistry between the leads are great too. Can see that Yan Tuo is a playful character and he is only getting to know Nie Jiu Luo😍.
