She DID read the letter after reaching home. (Ep:1, 20:40 timestamp). Seo Jun had confessed in it that he loved her, but could never bring it up to her, because he thought she would not like a boy like him - ( according to him, he can be pessimistic and jealous and all). As far as I know, she took the letter home, and the shop owner had told that if she reads it, she would regret it, which she did. On a side note, I am not entirely sure if the letter referred to by the shop owner and the one read by Ha rin are the same ones...
