A Cute Short Fantasy with Structural Flaws and Mixed Execution
This isn't a terrible drama, but it isn't Bai Lu's best (in my opinion). It had an interesting start, and the performances were strong. But the drama lacked cohesion near the end, so it suffered from several plot holes. But I enjoyed the general development and how the drama tied the ending to modern times. I think it’s a short and cute fantasy that involves multiple timelines. But you need to lower a few expectations for side plots.
