Immersive & Stunning: A Standout Xianxia Drama That Remains a Personal Favorite
Till the End of the Moon has remained my favorite Chinese drama, even after many rewatches. It’s the xianxia watch that never gets old and has yet to be topped for me.
What stood out most was the strength of the performances and the emotional depth the cast brought to their roles. I really appreciated the character development, layered storytelling, and the way the series built out its world — from the mythology and lore to the distinct identities of demons and immortals. The costumes and soundtrack added even more atmosphere, making the experience feel immersive and memorable.
I’ve also read the original novel, which has only deepened my appreciation. Even a year later, the drama still represents everything I enjoy about mythology-centered Chinese series. While there were a few minor production quirks with styling and accessories, they didn’t take away from how much I value the overall experience.
