Wow, so this is not what I was expecting. lol Monster is such an interesting story which makes it such an odd yet engaging film. The director fits many different themes into it, such as very dark and depressing but also comedic elements. I liked it because it was very fast paced and yet engaging, you get to see how the characters interact with each other such as Bok Sun and Na Ri. Bok Sun has had some developmental issues and she has to take care of a child while evading a killer. So, it seems like a pretty difficult and daunting task because of the character's characteristics and personalities. Yet, they help and rely on each other and bond along the way. I felt a lot of sympathy for the characters and I feel that you really get to bond with the characters while watching it. At times, I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry because of the disturbing and comedic themes. Overall, the whole movie itself was extremely bizarre, but fast paced, and it may leave you feeling confused, bewildered, disturbed, and happy? Well, give it a try, it's an emotional rollercoaster.

So don't expect anything too serious out of this drama unless you're really serious about food. It's a really unique and funny/quirky story about a mysterious ramen loving girl. She basically goes around and tries different ramen at different shops along with classmates who are interested in her mysterious life. She's not just any ordinary girl who has a love for ramen but she REALLY likes ramen and you can see that by watching her day to day life.  It's really cute and you do get to see some different ramen and you get more of an idea of what ramen is all about as a whole.  So yeah, if you're bored and craving food porn and some cute comedy then this is for you. :)

I notice for me at least, it's difficult to find a movie that truly moves me. Yet this one, it was exceptional at doing just that. The music, storyline, silence, characters, and the visuals all come together to portray extremely powerful emotions. I love the concept and at first I was a bit skeptical about the whole time travel thing since I've seen it been done before in not the most convincing ways, but this was a key feature and added to the emotion and storyline in a beautiful way. There are many important themes found in this movie having to do with mental health, friendship, suicide, and hope. Too often I feel like many people don't acknowledge mental health enough, and that is also seen in movies at times. This one does a very good job of acknowledging that. I've been trying to find some more Japanese movies that I can truly like and feel connected to. I find that the ones based off of manga such as this one are usually very well done. I applaud the author of the original manga, the actors, and directors for making such a convincing and beautiful production. Please, if you are looking for a movie that will truly move you, please watch this.

This is absolutely hilarious. If you are a K-Drama fan you will find this absolutely hilarious and relatable. I finished the whole series in a day. The only thing that I wasn't so happy about is how short it was. Also, the ending could've been better. I was sad to finish it and I wish they could've made it longer. So that goes to show how good it is, missing it once it's over.

Wow.....wow. For what may seem like a cheesy cutesy movie from the trailer and cover, it really delivers a ton of emotion and a well developed plot. It's really funny, joyful, and pleasantly cheesy at times and also very emotional and deep at times. Like some of the other reviewers said, it's a great movie and is underrated. Everything from the actors portrayals of emotions, funny unique quirks, and looks, the cast is awesome. I can't think of a more creative word but I'll just leave it at that. They are very convincing in their roles and really do move you and get you to love them for their personalities. I especially love Riisa's personality in this! I have trouble finding a lot of Japanese movies(or movies in general) that truly do move me, but this one did. The whole time travel concept is used in a really creative and beautiful way. It makes you realize that time is constantly moving and living in the past or too far in the future can bring you joy and possibly even some pain. There's a lot to be observed and discussed with this movie which is why I gave it a rewatch value of 10. Please watch it! ^^

The story goes into the life of a guy named Takuto and his struggle with ALS along with his family and relationships. I really like how they go into the lives of the other characters along with the main character Takuto. The soundtrack is beautiful and goes perfectly with the story. If you are looking for an emotional inspiring experience then you won't be disappointed watching this. This drama was extremely moving and life changing. It really made me realize how fortunate I am to have the many small things in life that so many people take for granted. Things such as walking, eating, talking, these tasks seem so simple but yet you don't really realize how lucky you are to have them until you put yourself in someone else's shoes or go through an experience like this yourself. This drama is a truly inspiring and emotional experience, it inspires you to stay positive and be thankful for the people and things you have in life.
