Holy moly… I’ve so far watched 10 eps (took like a 3 month drop period between eps 7 and 8). There is a whole lot of nothing happening each episode like my god. I love jaejoong and this is why I’m watching but they wrote his character so bland that I’m so uninterested 😭 I might completely drop but not sure yet... (6/12/24) UPDATE: So after ep 11 things are a bit more "actiony" and things are picking up, but the dialogue is just mediocre and cringy for me 💀... like why are the characters acting like this ..) (6/19/24) Ok finalll update, so I just finished the drama and I would def say that ep 15 & 16 are the strongest eps. Pretty much eps 14-16 had a better pace, but that's really late in a drama for things to start picking up. I would recommend either skipping around or watching the drama on like 2x speed which is what I did for the last few eps. Ending was good I didn't mind it, and made me think that if a second season were to happen I wouldn't be against watching it... of course if it wasn't as slow as this one. They dragged this story out wayyyyyy too much. Would've worked better as a 10-12 ep drama. Oh and jaejoong's character isn't so "bland" in the last few eps, and the mom isn't as annoying as she was in the eps before.

Literally feel so empty after watching... The stunts, script, acting, ost, omg literally all were amazing. Yeo Jin Goo... his performance.. like omg he really leaves me speechless. The rewatch value on this one is extreme and I will be watching a million times more. I just can't put it into words... watch it immediatelyyyy!!

Ok so update, just finished the season. I ended up skipping a lot of scenes in the next eps that dealt with the new characters. I only really watched the plots about hyun soo, eun yoo, soldier guy, and yi kyung. I felt those plots were pretty strong and interesting since it ties into the overall story. Gave it a 6.5 just cause the whole thing is inconsistent. I hope season 3 just focuses more on the important and interesting stuff rather than all this what seems to be "filler".

Jesus... wtf is going on like seriously. I'm starting ep 5 rn and am honestly bored. Ep 1-2 were so interesting , but then they started killing off characters and did these random time jumps that they don't even really address. Like how many years have passed?? 2, 3?? We literally have no idea. And wtf is going on with all this ass in my face?? 😂Like it doesn't add to the story it's just a bit weird idk. I have no connection to these season 1 characters anymore cause we get no time with them. We get more time with these new characters that just end up DYING ANYWAY or just scream and complain. I think the only new character I give a little shit about is that one soldier that helped the OGs out. But like what is the point fr. I saw the mixed reviews but decided to give it a chance since so many people made a big deal about the CGI of season 1 even though it wasn't THAT bad. Thought it was the same type of deal but no.. plot is just shit. I get the feeling yea that it might be build up for season 3 but honestly it just feels pointless. Imma just skip around the episodes cause it feels like a waste of time. Oh and one more thing... WHERE THE FUCK IS SONG KANGGGG??? Bro you can't put him on the cover and then just cut him out of half the show like wtf. Ok I'm done thanks :0

Oofff is this hard to get through. Honestly I’m only really watching for Onew but if he wasn’t in it I probably would’ve dropped by now. Biggest issue I have is the length of the episodes. It’s long and you can feel it. I usually do like longer episodes for plot but it adds little to the story. Currently I’m about to start ep 5 so I’ll continue to watch and see how it goes.
