What I liked the most is, even ep 19-22 have plenty of hilarious scenes, their couple drama is very alive, it is still there and it hurts

I find him brutally direct, hated him he was blind and couldnt see how much she loves him, he couldnt believe her when she said her love was genuine. I pity him. At that time I thought the happy ending for this drama would be her doing well, having a good life without him. But after that there was a hilarious arc, when his char was different. He fought in a foolish way to make her coming back. The more he embarrassed himself, the more I was ready to give their relation a chance. Maybe this part of drama could be made in the same style like the first half of drama (in fact, that's what I expected, I wasnt ready for eps 19-22), but, somehow, these eps white washed him in the best possible way, made me think he deserves a second chance. If prod team wouldnt serve us this arc, them be happy together in the end of story would be forced for me

I see your point. He regrets (ep 20 -dinner-monologue before the kiss. He was honest and the tears in his eyes made him even more credible)
This arc will end and there will be a new dramatic one, many things will happen.
However, after this arc I dont hate him as much as I did before

define out of char. In fact, we know SMH by XY's perspective. I still dont know how complex his char is, I know how she sees him. And she sees him like a fool now, which kinda gives me a satisfaction.

in that car scene they arent childish... They look like any other married couple in the beginning of their journey when couple has a fight. In fact, this arc is meant to show SMH is human :)
In ep19-22 are so many good scenes, mostly full of sadness and nostalgia. SMH is the same cold guy with feng Lei. His relation with his parents gets better. And yeah, he's in love and he has regrets. He didnt show before this part of his personality, he just went out all lately and hedoesnt care anymore he might look silly
Anyway, this arc will end soon. The best part of it is actors had a very good time when they filmed it and they looked happy....which is priceless
Before the next dramatic arc I feel I hate him less and somehow I'm more ready for the HE

i cant blame this arc too much. In ep 19-20, there were good scenes and comedic vibes couldnt shade the sad truth of their relation: watersplash game it felt more sad than comic, the band aid, the balcony scene, their dialogue at the garden event, SHM monologue before dinner kiss etc.
Ep21-22 have that car bickering, which is very realistic, they look like a true married couple, or at least as 2 ppl in love who try to hurt each other during a fight. MIL and SHM scene, CC and SNH scenes were also good

try Love Like the Galaxy (costume) -this drama has 32 awards, mostly for its quality, Who Rules The World (wuxia), The Story of Pearl Girl (costume), The Last Immortal (xianxia)-for this one cgi are not the best, but compensates with a good story, costumes and cinematography
The Romance of Tiger and Rose brought her Best Actress award
Dating In The Kitchen has as Director the same guy Love's Ambition has. DITK also age gape drama. It has one of the hottest scene in cdrama
Gen Z- about traditional chinese medicine, full of comedic scenes, but with a very thin romance line
