It Rained, It Poured & They Sent Emails
Yes, YES, cheating is wrong, but, I’ve never been this happy to see two people cheat. My arse was up at 5am refreshing the app, waiting. That being said, Hagiwara is genuinely a good person. Sei, whether consciously or not, built his own hell. Fujisawa, well, I can’t believe he was the sperm that won the race, and Kaori’, oh Kaori, that woman’s audacity needs to be studied.OMG the way my heart dropped in the finale when the credits were rolling and Hagiwara deleted Sei's contact. Tears of anger were about to fall before I hovered the mouse and saw there was a bit more left. I would have accepted it, but also cried buckets. Thank you bl gods.
Listen, this drama was one of the most realistic, mature, honest portray of relationships and sex our side of the community ever got. It’s relationship in its rawest form. Unfiltered, and in some cases, very relatable. I started this cuz I liked the title and the poster. I’m glad I added it, cuz we’re only two months into the year and I can confidently say this is one of the best bls of the year.
Look, I know most of us cheered when that taxi stopped in the rain and those two booked a hotel room and did stuff like rabbits. But, let’s be honest, that cheating scene was no cheating scene, it was a love scene. Instead of hot and fast, we got a raw and slow moment that showed their venerability. Everything from Sei’s assurance to Hagiwara’s tears when he finally felt that connection with someone he so craved was done so beautifully. I was speechless of how real and emotional that whole scene was. It brought me way down from my ‘yaaay cheat, cheat, cheat’ chant. I understood the calmness of it, they both needed it after everything.
I love how they got to know each other through their emails. Here they’re finding their soulmates through emails, and me, I put every email I don't recognise in spam without reading. Sorry, soulmate, perhaps in our next life you’d learn to call or text. In the scene when they finally figured out they'd been talking to each other, I was stressed!!! Legit, I put the episode on pause cuz I was scared of their reactions. The air I let out when they acted matured about it and then continued to connect in real life. I love these two so much.
The finale made me hate being a rational person who can be objective. Before that conversation between Fujisawa and Sei, I hated Fujisawa with the burning passion of the sun, but then he started explaining, and I'm forced to understand him. Do I forgive him? hell no, but now I get why he did the things he did, and I'm vexed. Everything from his obsessions to his guilt made me understand his character and I hated it, cuz I wanted to leave the drama hating him 1000 percent, but now it's like 999. Cuz, his reasons doesn't excuse what he did. We will not rationalise abuse. And during that conversation I was glad Sei let him go, but him implying they'd have worked if Fujisawa ignored his morals was... well it is what is it, I suppose.
Anyway, I'm happy for the finale. Glad things were explained and we got to understand where everyone was coming from. Hagiwara reconnecting Sei with his friend while keeping away made me love him more. I’m happy our two leads took that time to sort out what they needed to, figured out their feelings, and then found each other in the rain. Happy tears y'all, happy tears. Such an amazing show, I'm sad it ended after just 7 episodes, I need a special.
PLOT:
This was good. Relationship comes in all forms with lots of problems and I'm glad we got to see this side of it. It's not all sunshine and rainbows, and sometimes we get stuck with people we care about but might not necessarily be the best for us. This was the something different I was waiting for. Emotions were high, and it made me think a lot, so I enjoyed each episode.
Anyway, below is my rant of the characters from episodes 1-6 with no knowledge of the last episode.
CHARACTERS REVIEW EPISODE 1-6
HAGIWARA KAZUAKI: This man was one of the good ones. No, I’m not excusing/forgetting what he did. No matter how you look at it, Hagiwara did cheat on his girlfriend. Still, he was a character deserving of happiness. Look at some of the facts:
Although Hagiwara wanted intimacy he never forced Kaori. He didn’t even get angry at her, and it was after Kaori’s pregnant friend snitched and he confirmed that Kaori didn’t want him that he turned to Sei. Even Kaori was surprised he didn’t trash-talk her in their emails.
Hagiwara is a gentleman. During that cheating… love making scene… when Sei asked him about his first time, that amazing specimen said he didn’t want to talk about the girl's privacy. But of course, there his girlfriend was, announcing his business to the world. The disrespect. Frankly, I’m shocked it took Hagiwara that long to cheat.
The reason I was happy to see Hagiwara cheat on Kaori was because, Hagiwara seemed like the kind who liked to feel an emotional connection with their partners, and Kaori was with him for a long time, so she knew, so for her to deny him that level of intimacy was just cruel, especially when she knew she was never gonna let him touch her again.
I wasn’t surprised he went all in when found that connection with Sei. In that scene when he was crying behind that glass door, asking if he was alone in his feelings, I was right there with him. And when he said, 'you’ve got your secret now,’ I sobbed with him. Glad he didn’t open the door cuz he wouldn’t have been able to let Sei go. My man loves too easily and opened and it hurt seeing him so broken.
NAKARAI SEI: Like Hagiwara said in that hotel room to Sei, “I don’t know if you are brave or cowardly.” Depending on the stand you take, Sei’s character was both. He had me feeling bad for him, and also wanting to slap him with a rubber chicken out of anger.
Sei was brave enough to cheat with Fujisawa, and to looked Fujisawa in the eyes and admit it when he got caught. No, but that whole scene had me rolling, yelling, ‘yes, tell him!’
Fujisawa: “You got a call from your side-piece. He got caught. His girlfriend ran away with his phone.”
Sei: Ah, the cat is out of the bag, oh well.
Fujisawa: So you cheated on me? Slept with another guy?
Sei: Yep, I cheated. I did it, I super done did it. We did it like rabbits, all day and night.
Hahaha no filter whatsoever and he didn’t stutter once. I was so happy when Fujisawa was yelling and demanding answers he straight up said, "Yes, I would have sex with anyone, it could have been anyone, but not you, not today, not here." I clapped, because here’s a man who had wanted Fujisawa for so long but was saying no to him now.
I’ve been wondering if Sei knew he was in an emotionally abusive relationship, or he was too close to see it. In Fujisawa defence, he already made himself clear where he stood when it came to intimacy. Which means Sei stayed in that relationship because he'd hoped Fujisawa would change his mind. Which brings me to my statement of him being the cost of his own pain. Why stay with someone you know can never give you what you want?
Did Sei truly, really, ever loved Fujisawa or did he stay with him out of loyalty? I think Sei mistook appreciation for love. He was happy for the kindness Fujisawa showed him during his parents’ death, and mistook that kindness for love and let that mfker isolated him for selfish reasons.
I felt sad and anger on Sei’s behalf for what that mouth breather Fujisawa did to him, but also at Sei when he apologised the next day like he did something wrong, and was considering quitting his job and moving away with him. Like????
Was Sei afraid to leave because he believed he wouldn’t find better? Hagiwara already confessed to him so he knew there was someone out there who wanted him, so that couldn’t have been it. Or was he scared of losing the security and familiarity that Fujisawa provided? Scared of starting over? Scared of Fujisawa thinking he was ungrateful after what he did for him? Whatever it was, it made him apologize, even had him lying to Hagiwara and trying to hide his injury, which made me angry at him.
“If you cry later, blame it on me,” Hagiwara said while I was shaking my head in judgement at Sei, because dude what the hell? You know how Hagiwara feels about you, you’ve admitted to feeling the same, so what is keeping you? Loyalty, understanding? Blame?
I realised Sei apologised to Fujisawa because he felt he was to blame. That some of the faults was his for cheating, but I’m still so angry, because he did not deserve what happened to him, and he did not have to rationalize that whole event at all. But then again, sometimes we are so close to the problem we don’t see it ourselves, and as outsiders it’s very easy to blame the victim. Still, I wished I was inside the screen, so I could shake him until he came to his senses.
FUJISAWA KAZUAKI: Dude vexed me. This guy hated everything, literally when Sei kept listing things Fujisawa didn’t like, I was like, ‘honey, please, save your voice, tell us the things he does like.’ I felt so bad seeing Sei beg him again and again for intimacy.
Sure, on Fujisawa’s part, he already made his stand clear, so some of the fault was on Sei. I thought Fujisawa was asexual or like sex was just one of the things he hated cuz he’s personality was hating stuff, but it turned out he was just a psycho. I don’t even think he was jealous that Sei turned to Hagiwara for intimacy. It was more like he was angry someone took something he thought was his, which is why he hurt Sei the way he did.
That scene where Sei was begging Fujisawa, telling him to stop hurting him because they couldn’t return to what they were made me sad and angry at the same time. Because Fujisawa, that fker had the nerves to reply. “What did we have?”
Exactly, they had nothing, nothing at all. Then the next day, his arse out there talking about I’m sorry, and I didn’t mean to hurt you. Bish he begged you to stop sooooo many effing times! In hindsight we should have known he was a psycho when he pressed into Sei’s injured nail and made it worse. Plus, he hated everything, like dude, how about hating air, stopping to take it and letting us have some peace? huh?
The nerve of him to even be surprised that Sei cheated in the end. What did he think was gonna happen when he wouldn’t even let Sei take care of himself in his presence? Literally, their whole relationship came off as roommates who tolerated each other, nothing more.
MIZUTANI KAORI: Some people really have all the effing audacity and this girl could sell hers. Not only did she get into a relationship with someone knowing after a while she’d no longer want sex with them, but she also went around telling people about not giving her sweet boyfriend any.
Look, I’m all for the sisterhood protecting one another, and Kaori’s friend straight up telling Hagiwara that she knew they weren’t having sex cuz Kaori said she hated when he acted masculine… #Sidenote: dafug does that even mean? does she not want him to appear/look like a man?? Woman if you feel this way then get one of those silicons and put it back in the closet after you are done using it, cuz you clearly don’t want a man.
Anyway, the point is, I’m all for the sisterhood, but I'm glad that the friend snitched, cuz she was also going through similar problems with her husband and wanted to warn him to save himself.
During that breakup scene at the cafe, I was behind my TV thinking of all the ways I could throw that coffee on Kaori’s head. Talking about you were with a man so I can’t forgive you, it would be unbearable to touch you. Thank God Hagiwara clocked her like, ‘wasn’t it already unbearable for you?’ She wasn’t even touching him, and now she’s like I can’t do it. Do what? You were not doing anything to begin with.
Sure, after she explained herself, it’s obvious she have some problems with intimacy and perhaps her sexuality. What I don’t understand is why she got into a long-term relationship. Woman if repulsion and nausea are how you always feel after being with a man a couple of times, then honey you don’t need a live-in-boyfriend you need tinder, get in and get out, don’t go and give someone’s son blue balls cuz you physically can’t bring yourself to be intimate with them.
Then she went on and said, ‘did you get with the next man you saw cuz I didn’t allowed you?.’ Allowed?? Once again, good job on Hagiwara for putting her in place like, ‘woman, I'm not a pet, not your dog to be allowed stuff.’ At least she did one thing right, letting Hagiwara have the satisfaction of telling her he found someone else and they should break up. Sure, she walked away feeling like she won and was in the right, that she did nothing wrong and Hagiwara broke up with her after he cheated, but I’m still so very happy Hagiwara told her what she wanted to hear. It showed he no longer cared how she took the whole thing, he was free and that was all that mattered.
And what in the dramatic arse thing was that, running away with his phone, and then shipping it to him via mail. Lol.
##End of rant##
Anyway, Hagiwara and Sei were going through it with their partners and I’m glad they found happiness together. They were each other’s missing pieces. I knew they would not be able to walk after their one night. Loved that last scene in the rain in the finale.
This series was one of the best bls I've watched in a long while, and I'd highly recommend it to everyone. I wish to see more work from the two leads, they were amazing in their roles. Hagiwara and Sei are going to stay with me for a long time.

Wandee has the personality of a flip-flop
Why was Wandee ready to be boyfriends with Ter, the guy who had the personality of a two-in-one shampoo but needed 12 episode to accept Yoryak? Make it make sense?!?!Like, I don’t understand why Wandee was playing hard to get? Dude, Yoryak found you in the dumpster, in between two trash cans. Please, stop playing hard to get, he already saw you at your worse and still wants you.
That being said, I tuned in to this show every week because GreatInn were amazing. Loved how their chemistry was chemistrying and the plot was watchable. The second couple were good as well, Cher has my whole heart. All in all, an enjoyable show, but still some things annoyed me, so here we are.
Because, for a show about having a good day, it sure as hell ruined my day.
CHARACTERS
Listen. I liked YORYAK. He was in the running for my fav character along with Cher. I was rooting for him. Sure I had no idea what was up with that random grim reaper character that showed up whenever the writers remembered there’s supposed to be a guy in a cape for the plot-line, but still I liked him.
Then the finale happened and undid all that, making me think he’s an ungrateful jerk. Because his brother, Oye, gave up his dream, got beaten up by loan sharks and almost lost ruin his relationship, all to make Yoryak’s dream come true. But what does Yoryak do when he finally makes it to the top? Immediately dedicate his win to his fake boyfriend with benefits. Literally you met him like four seconds ago!
Dafug you mean this win is mostly because of you, and this championship belt is yours??? No it’s not! Wandee did nothing, this had nothing to do with him! Matter of fact he stressed you out with his indecisiveness so much you lost a match. Get your priorities straight child!
Really, what did Wandee contribute to his victory? Is it because he told him to face that hooded figure? His brother would have told him the same thing if he’d confind in him. Nah, that part was just messed up, especially after that family episode.
Anyway, I still like Yoryak, but that last episode did him no good.
Now WANDEE. Oh, Wandee my boy. Why you gotta have the face of a supermodel and the smile of a cloud, but the personality of a slipper?
Wandee’s inability to make up his mind annoyed the hell outta me. It wasn’t because Yoryak did anything wrong or didn’t communicate his feelings, our boxer did and said all the right things, but still Wandee wasn’t sure even after they kissed. Dude, he brought you home after picking you up from the dumpsters, he’d seen you at your worse and still wants you. What more is you waiting for???
When he kept dragging his feet about being Yoryak’s real boyfriend, I wanted to reach into the screen and shake him. Like, dude you were in love with that shifty arse doctor who looks like he steal pills during his lunch breaks, but hunky boxer is where you get sense? Child, if you don't sit your arse down!
I liked Wandee, he didn’t sit around crying for weeks when he was called vanilla, which lets all agree, dude looked like the poster boy for vanilla, but yeah, he didn’t sit there wallowing, he up and got himself a sexy faen with benefits, and he had a cool grandma to add to his charm, but I sure as hell was given him the stink eye. And I did so every episode after they first kissed. He was acting like a boyfriend, but still didn’t want to commit.
And also, did anyone cringed so hard, they wanted to jump off a cliff when Wandee started singing? I get Thai Bl dramas never leave the house without a guitar, but the secondhand embarrassment I felt, yikes! Like, why is now the time to start singing in front of all this people?
This show had no business being 12 episode. It could have ended the first time they kissed on the lips. Cuz it just dragged after that and made Wandee more annoying by not being able to make up his mind. I kept screaming at my screen ‘Mfer do you want to be with Yoryak or not?
Also, did we ever find out about how Wandee was scared of traffic lights, but like, drove a car? What he do when he stopped by a traffic light?
But like, do we all agree that Inn’s smile is sooo adorable?
Anyway TER! EFFING TERRR!!! I still can’t get pass the episode where he fumbles a beautiful doctor lady for Wandee, only to fumble him too and then try to come back to the dance floor looking for her. THE AUDACITY!! Did Ter think that boss lady doctor would still be waiting for his sorry arse?? Homeboy out there acting like spare tyre and thinking he’s the belle of the ball.
LMAO, what a loser! His sorry arse out there looking like an upside down question mark, and yet he thought he still had a chance with Wandee! Any screen time he had after that vanilla scene felt like I was being forced to accept his existence. Then instead of falling down the stairs in the finale and breaking all his toes and fingers, the writers up and gave the mfer a whole arse girlfriend. WHY? FOR WHAT REASON??? ARRRGGGGG
This world has no balance, why are all my enemies winning this season? First Tong and now Ter.
And speaking of the VANILLA scene. HAHAHAH, Ter out there acting like he collects stamps and have seks with the lights off, calling someone vanilla, dude didn’t seem like he knew any positions other than missionary, cuz what player with game would fumble two people in the span of a minute at a ball?? Vanilla! Boy if you don’t shut up!
I really wanted him to end up alone, bitter, and jobless, but here we are with his annoying arse waving at me and going ‘Bish, you thought!’
CHER AND OYE
I loved these two together. Usually I watch most of the second leads scenes on 2x, but these two had me hooked. Cher the most, the bestest boy, and so supportive. I love the ending they got, so happy for them.
PLOT:
Not gonna lie, watched all the boxing on 2x, cuz that hoodie figure was so uninteresting and if you see them punch once, you’ve seen it all, but the hype of the games and their gym added to their characters, so that was good. The competition thing with the doctors was also just sort of there, nothing to write home about, feels Ter didn't even try that hard to win? Also, them forgiving that bum arse father was meh, and dragging the series only to make Wandee more annoying was also whatever. But, the talk about protective seks and asexual characters was very much needed, so kudos to them. And Plako with his bedroom suggestions, his kinky arse had me rolling.
Anywho, I did like this show, I looked forward to it every week, so I recommend to it anyone who are funs of GreatInn. I’ll rewatch it, just to grin like an idiot whenever Cher pops up.

The Cooks Who Moonlight As Assassins
Here is the sitch. Kant is a love bombing, manipulative snitch for the police. Bison is a cheeky, deadly, adorable hitman, Fadel is a moody, no nonsense hitman who loves cooking burgers, and Style is an annoying gremlin, stalker mechanic who is unknowingly dating an assassin to win an old car. Between the four of them, someone is about to get burn, and it's sure as hell ain't the hamburgers!Listen, this drama promised a recipe for disaster and chaos, and it cooked and delivered it perfectly. This was an emotional rollercoaster and I enjoyed the ride very very well. As someone who read the novel I had a lot of expectation and they were exceed to the maximum.
CHARACTERS
Both FirstKhao and JoongDunk delivered a wonderful performance. I'm one of those people who believed after watching Hidden Agenda that JoongDunk took their acting lessons from one of them red bricks, but this was their best role yet. Dunk embodied Style to perfection, making me like that annoying character so much. So kudos to all four main cast, great job, clap clap. FirstKhao and JoongDunk were the perfect cast for this role, and it was great seeing them bring the characters to life.
BISON
So like we all agree Bison is crazy right? Sure he dresses like a middle-age divorce woman from Santa Barbara, and his adorable face makes him looks like cute a plushie, but don't be fool, dude had the personality of a ticking bomb, you never know when he was gonna blow while giving you one of those adorable smiles. LMAO, the scene where he was imagining all the ways to off Kant after he found out he was a snitch had me going, 'Damn dude, yous is a cray-cray'. No, he had one solution for every problem he came across. 'Let's kill it.' Bison's character was the most intriguing to me, so of course he was my fav, and Khao as always was great in his role.
Also, I knew Bison was batshit crazy, but he's borderline psychotic, cuz who the hell eats their cupcake muffin from the centre? And when he took Kant to use that laundry line, out there in the open? In the prison when those men were bothering him, I shook my head like, 'Ah, so you want to die this morning.' They did eff around and found out. I don't know what it says about me that the psycho with the cute face is my fav, but Bison was my fav... so.
KANT
Kant. Oh, Kant. What a giant red flag you were. Sure he did all he did so he could clear his grand theft auto charges. Which sure, who wouldn't wanna be free from the popo, but all that love-bombing in the beginning was just cruel. Plus he let his best-friend flirt with a gun firing, steak knife wielding assassin and didn't tell him. Sure, Style would have screamed 'hell no' but letting your friend flirt with someone you suspects murder people for a living is sucky. Homeboy sucks, but, snitches do get stitches, or in his case lungs full of water. He lucky Bison decided to save him in the end. Fadel would have let him be fish food.
I did like how all out Kant went when he finally realised his feelings for Bison. Homeboy even managed to find a pro-bono job in the prison just so he could be closer to Bison. Ah the things crazy people do when they are in love. I also liked how he cared for his brother, what he had to go through to give his brother the best life he could, which makes him like 16% less sucky for his snitching era, but I just remembered Bison and Fadel's heartbreak when they learned the truth, sooo taking back that percentage. I'll give him one thing though, he was brave and one lucky mfker, cuz he faced both Bison and Fadel's guns and lived to tell the tale.
KANT & BISON
Okay, but first question, did FirstKhao take a masterclass in kissing cuz... fam, those smooches were on a whole new level of eating. Now how this people go back to being co-workers/friends after these scenes? I can never be an actor cuz what do you mean, 'no we are not married, I shaved my tongue down your throat for work'. Na ah, yous is my husband now. Shit, after a kiss like the one in the empty pool or on the hammock swing, there's no way I'm leaving without a ring. Unless the police throw me for prison, I am stuck on you like glue.
Anyway, the moment Bison started doing his little inlove-ness-ness cute thing with the tissue like a disney maiden in a musical, I knew he was a goner. These two should not work, but they did, cuz they both had pasts the other understood. I'm glad they found each other, kinks and all. Cuz only two crazy people will do it in a prison courtyard behind sheets. No shame whatsoever. Oh, and that titanic empty pool scene. FirstKhao's chemistry is really one of the best in the bl industry.
I am so happy that they finally got to see the northern lights, in that episode when Kant showed a projection of it, as a way to spend one last day with him, so he could betray him the next day, I was so mad at him, like, why are you doing the most romantic stuff with the worse of intention?? Was so happy when Bison made him jump into the sea, he deserved it for that one scene alone. Though, with everything they've been through, I know they gonna last forever.
STYLE
Style can annoy a ghost back to life. Homeboy was so in love with himself and the sound of his voice, even his father found out his son has been dating a killer for the past years and he was like 'Honestly, good, only a hitman can handle your dramatic arse. Good luck Fadel, hope you can survive him.' No, but, that child was crazy. Him still taking that car he won for the bet made me love him more. Also, Fadel has the patient of a saint, cuz if I was the one who kidnapped style i'd have brought him back within the hour. Heck, I might have just turned over my weapon to him and asked him to put me out of my misery. LOL, that boy had me laughing and shaking my head. I've never met such a friendly, yet, annoying stalker like him. And I don't know what that says about me that I love him this much. No, he's so annoying, but like... he's the best. When Style showed up in his tank-top in ep1, I knew he was going to be annoying as hell, and immediately I went, yes, more please,
There were so many Style moments I love in this drama, but my fav might just be when he was kidnapped. Like he had demands, even had Fadel stop so he could purchase a better outfit to die in, cuz he couldn't die in an ugly shirt, which, sure, understandable, no one likes an ugly corpse. But he even had them attending, and officiating a wedding, wanting kisses and a good time, that bathtub scene. Nah, I'd definitely had un-kidnapped him. And like that scene at the bowling ally, boy literally forgot there was a crazy person with a weapon because Fadel said he was someone else's boyfriend. Child, this is not the time nor place. Oh, how I love his dramatic arse.
FADEL
Mr. Cool assassin who comes off as cold, but is really soft at heart, and just wanna be in his kitchen all day cooking. Fadel had a heart of gold, and the will power of a mountain, cuz the strength it took for him to not kill Style needs to be studied. That scene when he took Style to the creepy forest place, I for sure thought Style was a goner.
Of the four characters, Fadel came off as the most broken. He didn't have expectation of anyone, and he kept everyone away so he wouldn't get hurt. The boy had his grave ready. Legit, was he just gonna go off one day, lie in it, and wait for someone to fill it with soil? Lol. He felt things the most, which is why I understood him when he was being difficult in the prison when Style didn't show up to teach. He was afraid of getting hurt again. Even after they found out Style and Kant betrayed them, and he wanted to get rid of Style, he still couldn't help but care for him. All it took was him thinking Style was gonna get hurt in the ocean for him to give in. So yeah, heart of gold, probably the best of the four.
Plus he really cared for Bison. He was his whole family and he took his job as brother/mother really seriously. Which good, cuz that mother of theirs was the devil.
Naaah, let my man cook in peace, he was born to be a lover not a hitman. The scene when he almost kill Kant but was talked down, and then then went back to his cooking had me laughing. Plus every time he looked at Style with such loving eyes, ahhh, no really, lover not a killer.
FADEL & STYLE
Fadel is like one of those people who are like: 'Dear dairy, I went out today, and the humans are still there. I hate everything.' And Style is one of those people who pets random dogs on the street and talk with everyone in the park. These two are so opposite they shouldn't even work as friends, yet their love story expand years. Fadel is someone who has been hurt so much from his last love, and now guards his heart, but here comes Styles, he walked right into his heart like a bulldozer, just forcing his way in and making a home there for himself until Fadel had no choice but to accept him. No, their love was really beautiful, and I enjoy every moment of it.
They drove each other insane, in a good way. JoongDunk have also grown in the kissing department. These two used to serve fish kisses, given us basically nothing, but look at them now. No, did the four cast take a masterclass in lips locking, where? when? who is teaching it? Boss? How can we sign up for it? Asking for a friend. Cuz... literally Fadel went from 30% to 60% with just a neck kiss. Anywho, personally, I wish Fadel all the best growing old with Style's dramatic arse. I mean it took years and he still couldn't teach him any mechanic's cuz all he did was yap. And yes, JoongDunk also did really well in their roles here, and I was very impressed by how well they brought their characters to life.
PLOT
As someone who read the novel while waiting to the series to air, I knew what was going to happen. I am so very grateful, that for the first time ever the screenwriters did more to the story than the novel. This was much more better than the novel. We got more plot, Style had more personality and wasn't two dimensional and the other three had more depth as well. So thank you khun director and khun screenwriter for this.
That being said, although the plot was interesting, made me laugh, cry, and laughed some more, there were a few things that had me question stuff. Like, what the hell was up with the episode where they tried to get dirt on the Mother? Are these two really sure they're professional hitman? How they stayed alive until now? Cuz Fadel went on a stakeout with Style who wore the brightest outfit he could find, homeboy might as well had gone with a neon sign that read, 'Yes, I'm following that one guy over there.' And of course he got caught, why won't he, in that hotel he and Fadel were literally just standing by the corner, like, three steps from Keen's vision. Also whoever put that hat on Fadel's head deserves prison or whatever powder they gave the mother. The moment I saw him in that hat, I said out loud to myself, 'See head, like bucket' and then laughed so hard I couldn't breathe.
The way I was rolling my eyes when Style was able to disarmed Keen, and then at one point the gun was basically pointing at nothing. And the Mother, she couldn't spot Bison there on that golf course? Bison was literally standing like one umbrella away from her, he wasn't even in disguised, and the mother still didn't recognise/see him? Like??? And and, did Style leave to change his outfit before he went out to comfort Fadel? Priorities, am I right?
Also, during that kidnap Style scene, like was Fadel serious? Homeboy had his gun out, pointing at Style, inside an opened window car, on a busy road, full of witnesses with eyes... like, hello Mr. Hitman are you new here? What in the sorry arse kidnapping is that? It was like he wanted to get caught.
Of course there were scenes I loved: Like the scene at the beach when Bison was crying and asked if Kant was trying to lie to him again. I was a mess. When Fadel showed Style his empty grave. I was crying into my popcorn and pointing at him on my screen like 'Child, why you making people emotional on a random Wednesday, huh? When Kant kept saying Penguin. Look, personally I had more ways to add to Bison's list on how to off Kant's snitching arse, but that scene made me go, 'please, forgive him, he said penguin. Penguin, that's your thing, you can't kill him now.' Then, when style worked so hard to buy back Fadel's restaurant back for him. Our boy grew up so fast from his days of stalking Fadel and going 'Fadew, Fadew, Fadew.' Oh and the scene when they got arrested and they were both crying but Kant was trying to be strong to comfort Style. And when they were taking their mugshot, I was throwing popcorn at my screen hiccuping like 'booooo, set them free, that ugly prison outfit ain't even their colour.'
Ah, this series was supposed to be a romantic comedy but really, only Style understood the genre, the rest of the time the characters were out there making me too emotional.
So like is the Mother dead or what? These two are professional hitman, and they just left that woman sitting there, looking perfectly alive. What if she has an antidote? What if it was powder and she was bluffing? Prison softened them.
That being said, I know Fadel and Bison were like the reddest flag, dudes killed people for a living, but Kant and Style were also red flags. Cuz we have Kant's arse love bombing poor Bison, ready to snitch on him so he'd be free of his crimes, and Style stalking and disturbing a quiet gentle soul all because he wants an old car. In the end, all four really dd deserve each other.
All-in-all a very good drama, one of my favs, and a good way to start the year of bl. I'd recommend it to all bl lovers looking for an entertaining show, you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to FirstKhao and JoongDunk's next work, I am very much seated.

Double Headache
Blood of Jesus, may this level of love never locate me! See nonsense! Naah, but this sh!t must be ragebait cuz aint nobody that effing in love. Lu Feng needs to go drink some water and chill the eff out with his toxic love. Yi Chen needs to stop looking like he’s living his whole damn life to a sad background song, Yi Chen’s brother needs--no, never mind, eff that dude, he sucks! And Qian Lang needs… actually, he needs nothing. Homeboy could have been replaced by a houseplant in the drama and it wouldn’t have made a damn difference to me. You know what, eff him too. Before I start this review, is it just me or, was this Yi Chen throughout the drama?
Random tiktoker: Hey, brother Yi Chen, choose one of these two options. Option #1, Lu Feng or op—
Yi Chen: *cutting him off* 2. Option 2.
Random tiktoker: But you didn’t even hear the–
Yi Chen: I don’t need to hear what it is. My answer is #2.
LMAO!! ^^That boy was allergic to choosing Lu Feng. Homeboy kept choosing everyone but him. Yikes. Well, he ran in the rain for a bit to make that stupid arse choice in episode 11… but yaayy love, am i rite?
Listen, yes, this is just a drama, yes, chill, still, imma rant cuz that was 12 episodes of annoyance, anger, pain, turmoil, and straight up rage baiting. Cuz, all the characters in this drama were insufferable! At one point I wanted to be Lu Feng just so I could slap myself in the throat! That dumpling scene… nothing vexed me past that hospital scene with the dumplings. Were we supposed to feel bad for him?
First off, I am not #TeamLuFeng or #TeamYiChen. I’m Swizerland, cuz I hate those two leads an equal amount. Perhaps 0,6% less on Xiao Chen (cuz he ghosted his brother that one time), but other than that, every one on this show equally sucked. And don’t get me started on that brother and his twin.. was it just me or did the two look… never mind, another rant for another day.
CHARACTERS:
And I repeat. LU FENG needs to drink some water and chill the eff out. I’ve seen so many people excusing his behavior all in the name of love. Peoples! Are we watching the same drama? No one on his show is a saint but Lu Feng sure as hell isn’t whatever some of y’all making him out to be. Out there talking about ‘he’s so broken because he loves so hard’. Pfft, if you don’t go sit somewhere with your nonsense.
No, but this was Mr.-I-bought-your-favourite-dumplings-and orange-juice-for-you-so-eat-while-you're-in-a-coma 98% of the drama:
Lu Feng: Manipulated, kidnapped, tormented, abused, humiliated and completely shattered Yi Chen.
Lu Feng supporters: OMG, he did all of that cuz he loved Xiao Chen so much. He gave up everything for him and Yi Chen didn’t choose him, so he is entitled to being a scum of a human. He’s so misunderstood and pitiable, cuz he did all of that for love.
ME: May thunder fire you and your family’s goat!
Cuz why? LOVE? Ha! Make this kind nonsense love come disturb my backyard, na slap someone’s son go chop! Some of y’all can’t be serious. LOVE? Yi Chen got shot and couldn’t eat dumplings. Ain’t nobody that in love. Naah, miss me with that sh!t! I’d rather be that one cat lady.
Look, I get it. Lu Feng loves so deep, rare and wholehearted, it even made him sick. When it comes to love, he literally has nothing else in his heart than his love for Xiao Chen, and he’d gladly give up everything for it. Kudos to him, he’s a forever simp, yappiee. So of course he’s gonna be obsessive and do everything to protect it. But, and SO WHAT?
And the rage baiting arguments I’ve seen, like:
# Lu Feng said no to his FATHER and left his family for Yi Chen!... Well no sh!t! Lu Feng’s father was an abusive prick! He was literally beating him, and he was in a family situation where he was clearly not happy, (he's sister seemed like the only partial sane one, bless her heart). So of course, he was gonna protect the one happiness he found, which was Xiao Chen. It was no brainer for him to protect that happiness and choose Yi Chen in that situation.
In contrast, Yi Chen was from a happy (before he met Lu Feng) family that loved him. Two parents and a brother, all they were missing was a dog to be the perfect poster for ‘family’. Then, the father died and the 3 made it work. Sure, his parents wanted him to be ‘normal’ marry a female homosapien, but he saw it as the family that loves him, not wanting him to have a hard life, so of course, he had a hard time letting them go for Lu Feng.
Seriously, what was Yi Chen supposed to do in that situation when everything crumbled? There was his mother who just made new year’s food for them. They were all happy, then bam! She's super sick and at death’s door, but she’s been hiding it so as to not worry her children. Then here comes Mr. Lu Feng with his one track nonsense, selfish love. Like dude, read the effing room, you are the elephant!
Seriously though, was Lu Feng’s brilliant idea that moment to add more fuel to fire? Dude wanted all the credit for angering all their parents to death. Someone’s mom is dying, any little thing will set them off, and dude wants his boyfriend to use that moment to tell his dying mother who he loves to eff off with her homophobic arse and crook already! Like??? And of course Yi Chen said no, so Lu Feng decided the best thing in his situation was to tie Yi Chen up by force, shove his brother down the stairs to disable him, then confront the dying mother.
Dude!! Are you not tired, Sharon? Seriously, that whole episode, I kept screaming: ‘Nah fam, yous is hungry, go home and eat and sleep, cuz you’re doing too much right now!’ Aint no effing way his arse thought he was helping. No, seriously, what was he expecting would happen? Yi Chen told him to go home, give him space, but no, Mr. I’m in love, choose me, had to keep piling on the pressure.
Yes, I get his frustration. I supposed, his whole world felt like it was ending, so he reacted the best way his obsessive arse could. Still, Yi Chen calling the police on Lu Feng’s crazy arse was too lenient, my arse would have added a punch, like calm the eff down, Susan. And yes, I got where Lu Feng was coming from. He gave everything up when he was in the same situation, but Xiao Chen isn’t from a broken home. That decision wasn’t an easy one to make for him. He had a mother he loved (who sucked btw) and a brother he loved (eff him) and a boyfriend who was inherently making things more complicated than they needed to be in a hospital and escalating stuff. Dafug was that bagel supposed to do? Not call the police? Nah, I would have called the national guard, evacuate him from the goddamn country while you are at it! Don’t wanna even run into someone who knows him.
*another excuse* is people going: Lu Feng went psycho and did all of that to Yi Chen cuz he was hurt, heartbroken, and wanted him to feel the pain he felt when he chose his family over him. —- Huh? Is you crazy? That’s not an excuse, that was SELFISH! Dude said he was in love and would do anything, yet, he wanted that love returned (sure, who doesn’t) but he expected the same unconditional love, regardless of circumstances. Also, why they put Yi Chen in that outfit during the kidnapping/house arrest? LMAO it was so on the nose.
Lu Feng was out there crying and talking about: ‘please wake up, if you wake up i’ll never leave you alone again’. and my arse vexed and rolling my eyes like ’now, why is you threatening that poor boy? Like, all he wanna do is get away from you, why the eff he wanna wake up?’ Yi Chen a better person than me, cuz just to spite him, imma be in that coma forever, let us both be miserable, heck even if I woke, imma go back to sleep.
And when he gave him the ring and said he’d wait, I was looking around all confused like… ‘Wait.. hold on. Are we serious? Mfker why you threatening that poor boy in these streets? Dude is traumatized and you wanna put a ring on it?’ Nah, shame, does he even have it?
Listen, before I start on YI CHEN, let me just say, I’m not gonna waste my breath defending that passive human. Dude doesn’t want to be saved, his reason, ‘he’s in love’ Hahahaha see nonsense. Somebody's son don leave his brain for ein mother's womb before he comet from there. Cuz, after all that, dude put on that ring and ran back and even was the one to ask him out again. After all that abuse, emotional pain, the parade of std’s walking around his face and bullying him, while having Lu Feng tongue down their throats, plus the gunshot, mfker went back. Sure, the alternative was his brother (eff that dude) and that one guy, still… he went back, all in the name of love. God forbid! May this kind love never locate me!
Oh Yi Chen. Yi fucking Chen. Dude woke up after all that and the first name he called out is Lu Feng? And the worse part. He made him RAMEN! You know how much you gotta love someone to make them raman?? Nah, eff him, he’s just as bad. Dude vex me pass Lu Feng self. It wasn’t like this dude didn’t know how obsessive and crazy Lu Feng was, but somehow he kept acting like he was waiting for him to become something he wasn’t. Dude literally smoked a cigarette shop outside your gate the first time, grape you the second time, and mfker got a divorce and went straight to look for him, glasses off and everything!
FAM? Like, if you are going to let him go, let him go! What’s with all the half arse break ups? And look back out the car window every time? And knowing how Lu Feng is, Yi Chen promised to love him, stay with him, and then the moment his life gets upset, he chooses every one and their mother but Lu Feng, of course the mfker would go crazy, cuz what’s your love really worth if you can’t stay with him through the tough times?
Like, he knew Lu Feng was going to give up his family, riches, and MONEY for him. Yet, he chose the mother who wants him to give up his happiness so she can die in peace and sacrifice for his brother (gawd I hate that air-breather!) Like, who won’t go crazy in that situation? The woman was two seconds away from kicking the bucket and Xiao Chen, not sure if it was due to his filial piety or love, decided to sacrifice Lu Feng to make her die in peace. Like, you is dying anyway, dafug is it to you if your son out there kissing a psycho dude who is about to be broke? Nah, I too would have shoved people down the stairs.
I hate self-sacrificing idiots. I am pretty sure he thought he was doing the right thing. Making his dying mother happy, sacrificing so his brother didn’t have to give up his love. But why do you have to be a good son and brother at the expense of Lu Feng’s love and heart? Xiao Chen’s love felt too conditioned, too clean. Sure, that first time, he was broken and waited and waited, and couldn’t move on, but when it really mattered he did nothing. Yes, yes, he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Still, after the mother died, he basically erased his life and stayed married to his beard!
He gave up on everything and decided to ghost everyone. Dude was like ‘lmao, y’all thought I was gonna stay. Nope, imma go fill the Zhou family with negative energy and waste 5 years of my life cuz my dead mother told me to marry a female and make her and my brother happy. I believe he’s crippled now, but I told his boyfriend he’s his problem now, and also I don’t wanna see him be happy while I’m miserable so good luck to him, his sadness for his mother dying, his brother ghosting him, and his broken legs. I’m out. #peace
Speaking of, my fellow females and males, dafug is with fighting for a man who doesn’t want you? Sister knew brother Xiao Chen didn’t want her, and she still married him. Some love is truly nonsense when all is said and done. Then of course, after disturbing us with her nonsense, she went and re-marry.
THEN after all that! All that! Yi Chen went and take a bullet for Lu Feng! Hahahhaha, Child! Is you alright, Bob? Lu Feng messed him up so much, I’m convinced he developed Stockholm syndrome. And then Lu Feng… hahahha were we supposed to feel bad for him at the hospital scene with the dumplings, cuz my arse was chewing my popcorn and goin ‘my friend, my friend, give it a rest, I am tired.’ I kept waiting for the police to show up and haul his arse away. Also why wasn’t anyone arrested or even charged in that?
And when he woke up and said his name and light appeared in the room. Ew, I wanted to throw up my popcorn, cuz aint no effing way the Lu Feng of that time was the light in anyone’s life. I won’t even say he was a candle, mfker was a flickering, dying firefly at best, couldn’t light shit.
The parents: Eff them both. At least the father had the decency to die in anger. The mother ruined lives and said ‘I’m sorry’ like that would fix anything.
The Second couple: Was the brother dude in love with Lu Feng at some point or another? His love for his brother was as cheap as my auntie’s church wig. Like, what the eff was he trying to achieve with telling the boy he was in love with to date his heartbroken brother… who is completely broken because he deleted a message that might have spared him some pain?
Who was that supposed to help, ho? And that houseplant, he said yes, knowing full well he didn’t like Yi Chen. Sure, he was doing it for someone he loves, but why would you hurt someone like that? Yes, I disliked that brother, still, he was there for Yi Chen, so I guess... he cares and like, his shoulders are nice... still.
And were those stairs not long enough or what? Hmph! Can’t even trust stairs anymore. ‘Hey, Lu Feng, next time try the wall of China.’ Those stairs would have done the job. At first I was like, Damn Yi Chen really exorcized his brother out of his life, but then I was like, I too would have deleted my life from his existence, cuz he was obnoxious when he wasn’t rolling down the stairs, now, he’d be insufferable.
FINALE
I'll be honest, not sure what to feel about the finale. On one hand, sure sad, on the other, they built those bridges themselves and now have to live with the circumstances. Like, Lu Feng went and got himself a titled illness and everything. Then he needed curing, so cue the sad montage. Then, afterwards, he was walking around all brooding, looking depressed, and like he's seconds away from calling it quits. The life in him was just gone. And for Yi Chen, trying to save him borrowed money from his brother (where he got it?) to get house. Sure, but what was the point, Lu Feng was in rehab, and couldn't use the house anyway.
Either way, they both ended up, both broken, healing, and finding a space in between to be happy. I guess, that worked for them, not me though, would have left back in the beginning episode when that dude who shoved me in the school yard started making googly eyes at me.
I wasn’t heartless enough not to feel bad for Lu Feng, but I was heartless enough to go. This is what you get for being in love. Next time, die and come back and be that in love again. Fool!
Any who, all in all, good watch, raised my blood pressure, but that's what these dramas are about, to get us talking. Recommend for anyone interested in black flags. Dude might just be in the same family as Hua Yong and Xiao Fan. Looking forward to more for the actors, their chemistry and acting was very good.
And just for this drama, if I ever meet someone and they go: ‘Long time no see’ imma throw salt over my shoulders and at them… those words started all this, and my arse don’t want none of that. God forbid!

The Soap Opera Game
It wasn't cute when Jack and Rose did it in the Titanic, and it sure as hell wasn't cute when they did it here. First off, yes, there was plenty of room on that damn door, and here, I spent the whole finale going, 'there wasn't room in that car for him to get inside too?' Cuz, why the eff did Pheem stay behind? And no, no explanation would justify that nonsense. The Wicked Game took itself way too serious, and ended up falling into the predicable hole.Listen, that brother Chet. What the hell was his problem? I felt like he personally hated me, cuz Mfker spent the entire series overreacting and throwing childish tantrums, instead of giving me what I wanted. The whole time, every time he was on screen saying whatever, and doing whatever the hell he was doing, I was busy staring from him to his bodyguard, you know that one dude who looked like the best regret. Like, whenever Chet opened his mouth, I kept going, 'Yeah, yeah, good for you, now kiss' Only for the mfker to up and die, and saying nonsense like, 'live your life and be happy, bodyguard.' Eff that happiness, what about me ,huh? Sure, bodyguard crooked two seconds later, still... they spent 10 episodes wasting all of that chemistry, and for what? This felt like a personal attack. Boooo!
Pheem and Than.
The drama wasn't called 'The Nice Game', so imma need all the people who keep being on Pheem's case to sit back down. Personally, I get him, he needed to be wicked to heal that child in him who was totally destroyed from how cruel the world treated him. Was he right in what he did to Than, hell no, but that ex-police officer knew Pheem was there for revenge and he still went all in with both eyes closed and heart wide open...only to immediately got shot, twice. LMAO, the eff he thought was gonna happening falling in love with a guy who hit him with a car on their first meeting?
Than is such a nice person it made him dumb. Like, come on officer, wake up a little. Dude got shot twice and spent 5mins looking real sad at the camera, and immediately went back and married the guy who literally dug a grave and shoved him in. Ain't no one that in love. May this level of in loveness-ness never locate me. Sure everyone think he's a dirty cop, but at least he got super rich, and has a not so dead husband, who loves running away, so, yaaay him.
Plot
The cartoonish shooting scenes. Literally, did they all aim at the air beside their targets or what? In the finale, I kept shaking my head, cuz what even are we doing at this point? Like all that shots and mfkers kept running around for like 10 more minutes, only for one to end up dead in a flashback... meh. The plot was also very predictable, cuz who among us believed for a second Than was dead, or that Pheem died? Both times I was like, stop wasting screen time and just show him already, I know his arse still alive, y'all won't even dare.
Characters.
The plot was okay, over the top in how it was directed and acted by some, but it did entertained me. Offroad's character was very interesting, and I liked him. I was actually rooting for Risa cuz the men were annoying. Please, I won't even start on the father, cuz that mfker doesn't even deserves me to waste pixels talking about his arsholeness-ness. I did like DaouOffroad, I always enjoy their work, so although this one wasn't the best they've done, I still enjoyed myself.
All-in-all, a watchable show, very soap opera-rly, so expect nonsense, over the top crap, cartoonish scenes. Apart from that, very decent, and I'll recommend it, especially for DaouOffroad fans. I look forward to their next work.

I THINK I LOVE YOU
Sometimes you watch something that leaves you feeling so much and yet not enough, this drama was one of such works. Plot wise, after the many high school bls, this story was exactly the something different I was looking for. Though, was it really something different? Cuz this is literally the current world situation, only difference is, it comes with a side of rainbow and it has its own background soundtrack.Listen, before I start this review, I need to get this off my chest. No one but the people responsible are at fault for Victor's death. From how I saw it, nothing could have saved Victor that day, no matter what, he would have died. I saw a lot of people angry at Tanwa for not telling Trin until it was too late. People, did we watch the same thing? Did you not see the kind of character Victor was? That boy did not take no for an answer. How many times did Trin reject him and how many times did he keep insisting? And since Trin became their teacher, did he not constantly advice them against the protests, and did Victor and his friends listened to him? No, so did you think Victor would have listened to him this time? Victor was about to leave, and felt he owed it to his friends to stand with them one last time, there was nothing anyone would have said that he'd have listened. Even his mother said after his death, 'he died fighting for what he believed in,' so she knew it herself, Victor would have been at that rally no matter what.
Trin & Tanwa
So yes, I was angry when Trin took some of his anger on Tanwa for Victor's death. It hurt that after seeing the way Tanwa's father treated him, Trin hit him and then left him. Trin got Tanwa to stop running away and faced his emotions, to open his heart and love, and then, he left him, and ran back to France. And the moment he said he was leaving I dead ass went, 'Yes, ran away, of course running away is your speciality, you did it when your girlfriend died too.' So yes, I was in my feelings andwas like, yeah if those two don't end up together I'd be fine with it, let them heal and move on, Tanwa don't need to be around whatever quilt Trin is feeling. But.
But, but, I also understood Trin. It's in human nature to think we could have done something to make a difference when things like this happens. Would Trin had been able to talk Victor out of going this time, when he hadn't been able to talk him out of anything so far? Would he have reacted the way he did if he'd known Tanwa actually warned Victor, but Victor made him promised not to tell him? We'd never know. Cuz at that moment, giving the information he knew and the hurt he felt, he reacted accordingly, so I understood Trin, but it still hurt that at the end of the day, Tanwa was the one who was left behind again, cuz in trying to please two people at once, he ended up breaking a promise and losing the man he loved.
But Tanwa grew, and it was beautiful to see. We met him as this carefree hippie who didn't care about anything, just here to enjoy life and make paper cranes. But with Trin he changed and it was nice, but then everything fell apart for him again. First he broke, completely, but slowly, he put the pieces together and I was so happy for him. Thanks to his that one friend with the hair who never gave up on him. That father, all he did was be a father like he was supposed too, so he gets no thanks from me.
As for Trin he actually left France and came back home to make a difference, and he didn't sit on his arse, and actually worked on making change, though when the side he choose got hard he left again. Sure he said he could continue doing the work he was doing out of the country, and perhaps he could, a pebble thrown at one end of the ocean could make a tsunami at the other end of the world, so yes he could, but for half of the finale, I felt like he was running away, probably, he was doing both. And I don't blame him, this was the second time his pain was being written with the same ink and ending.
Personally, I think they'd both would have survived on their own if they hadn't ended up together again. But, I'm glad Tanwa learned to respect himself, choose himself, and grow before he decided to speak out and then go and try to make things right with Trin. They both needed that time to sort out their feelings and heal, and they were stronger for it when they got back together.
Krailert & Naran
I am surprised one of these two didn't die. I am not gonna lie, I watched this whole drama thinking Krailert was a coward and he was gonna die a useless death. Yes, I was cheering on him, happy when he was all in love and hating on clothes and playing piano, but my opinion of him was not much.
Cuz really, he was in a marriage he didn't want. He did what his superiors told him with little to no opposition, and most of the time his best effect was to wish the soldiers under him would listen to him, and make sure his nephew wasn't anywhere near whatever disaster was coming. Even the day that Victor died, yes he tried to save the students, even tried to send Trin out on some errand to save him, but in the end because he didn't really hold any respect or power in the army from his soldiers, after all this years, his men disobeyed him, and he ended up losing the one trusted man he had.
And it wasn't that he didn't try to do the right thing or speak up, it was just that he held so little power, that his voice and effects meant little to nothing in the long scheme of things. Yes, he did what he could, but it wasn't enough, which got me thinking with how much power his father in law held, how the eff did he end up with none but that dude with the cigar ended up with so much? Was it because he was too kind, too nice for a profession in politics when he'd rather be playing the piano naked? Either way with a family like his wife's backing him, him basically ending up a 'yes, sir' dude at work was unfortunate. Though his ending was an unhappy trophy husband, so really, short end of the straw.
So, I was so so so happy when in the finale he grew a pair and finally spoke out, though, what good it did him, he was immediately arrested and was about to die or imprisoned for life, until his wife came in to save him. But even so, I was so happy that he decided to speak up and to tell the truth, even knowing what consequence he would face. Both Naran and I were very proud of him.
Naran, spoke a big game of wanting change, of wanting to tell the public the truth, and for a while he was passionate about it and did it, but when he kept being silenced, he allowed himself to be silenced. Sure there wasn't much he could do with a boss like that, but thinking about it, he'd write, tried to push, be silenced and he'd let it go. He knew how horrible those politicians were, yet, he didn't really talked those student out of anything, just stood in the crowd with them with his camera, taking shoots and videos that never saw the light of day. Even Victor's father's book, in the end it was actually Krailert who called in that favour for him to get it published.
Yes, he had no power when against such powerful people, but the pen is mightier as they say, so... Anyway, I was glad he quit. And also, he could have had his own publication had he lied and stayed with his girlfriend, but it was good he didn't want to add to the pain by staying with her. I was happy he came clean and let her go, otherwise he'd have ended up in an unhappy, suffocating marriage like Lert did. Though, was a one way ticket to wherever he went any better? Probably.
Was their ending sad, yes, but again, I am still shocked not one of them died and they both made it alive. Though, are they even alive? He was forced to leave the country alone without even seeing the man he loved one last time, and Lert was threatened to remained in an unhappy, unwanted marriage as a live-in sperm donor. So, I say alive with huge question mark.
Secondary characters:
Dhevi :
I was not surprised one bit that Krailert's wife was pulling strings. Literally, her hair was never out of place no matter the time of the day, of course she was silently a force to be reckoned with. Woman to woman though, does forcing a man you know does not love you, plus in this case, wasn't even intimately interested in you, ever make this people happy? What did she get out of this? A husband who is dead inside? A baby? Bishes be crazy. Naran's girlfriend hit him with a shoe and moved on, what Krailert's wife did was just cruel. Girl why? And all that to save force cuz of social norms? What was the point?
Victor:
I liked that loser. He was so adorable when he was in love, and I'd admit, I was lowkey looking for drama and going, 'you know what, just one, one tiny kiss.' I know it would never happened cuz Trin saw Tanwa one time and was a goner rearranging his bookshelf in the middle of night, but still, I was delulu and wanted something, I'd have taken a very firm handshake even, In the end, he died for what he believed in, gone too soon, yes, but he left a mark on the friends he left behind and that counts for something.
Veera:
His death hit so hard, cuz at one point I was like, hmmm he loves the wife too much, you think he'd snitch? Shame on me for thinking bad of him, cuz he didn't. In the end whether for Dhevi or Krailert, he was loyal, and died protecting them. Poor boy didn't even get to attend his fake wedding. I still feel how sad and hard I cried during that episode where both him and Victor died, and with Mile singing Dawn in the background while everyone broke down in tears did not help. Damn that episode broke me.
Which brings us to why everyone on this cast needs to win an award, especially the four main leads. Everyone did so amazing with their characters and actually looked like they enjoyed coming to work and producing this amazing series for us. And it was an amazing series. I loved every moment of it. The plot was wonderfully executed, and everything from the cinematography, direction, editing, costumes, casting, script and the music made me like it more. Speaking of the music, the original soundtrack was amazing, I saved almost all the songs on the show to my playlist. Loved them!
I highly recommend this to all bl/drama lovers out there, cuz this is so much more than just a bl drama. The genre and topic might not be for everyone, but if you are looking for a drama with good plot, direction, acting and overall amazing production, give this one a chance, it's one of the best bls/dramas that I've seen that's come out of the Thailand. I am looking forward to more from the cast. BeOnCloud, thank you!

1) Become an alcoholic (How's that gonna effect Top's liver ho?)
2) Do drugs (Bish did your mama drop you on your head?)
3) Swing your friend who is in love with you along? (For shame!)
4) Buy an ugly arse shirt and... (Literally, he looked like a divorce dad from Santa Monica.)
5) THAT silver CHAIN... (Boy, if you don't take that shit off!)
It bust my mind. That's it? That's your revenge? Is that suppose to hurt Top? Was that his brilliant plan? And what in the world was that chain???? Was that supposed to be some sort of indication that he's now bad? DUDE!! ARRRGGG. EW. Every time he was on screen I skip forward like... not today satan! Y'all ain't gonna stress me out.
And some people out there making tiktok videos talking about how Boston is a red flag. He was the only tolerable character on that show. Matter of fact, he was my fav, cuz at least, he knew he sucks and should dig a hole and die. But noooo, Mew... GAWWWDDDDD I hated that character so much. I tried but I couldn't stand him and Top.
The other characters were okay. SandRay did not annoy me as much as TopMew. The storyline was nothing to write home about. And that stupid arse silver chain did it no favours. Also, how is Mark in everything? I'm not complaining, he managed to make me love him in 'My School's President', but damn dude, do you have time to sleep?
Anyway, Mew count your days, it's on sight!!

I’m Your Sky & You’re My Sea.
Game recognises game, and my man LEE, has GAME! The boy had 6mins, 41secs (yes I counted) and some nonsense line about the moon and walking or something and he worked!! Effortlessly. *Standing ovation* the real MVP. Also, that scene in ep8 almost gave me a heart-attack. I was screaming, ‘Noooo P’Fah do not put our cute fluffy boo-boo’s hand there!’ LMAO, for a second I think we all forgot this show was from Domundi and they real thirsty over there.Listen, real talk, what’s in the water over at Domundi? Beauty juice, anyone? Do their dramas make me cringe, yes, do I keep rewatching? hell yes! One thing I’ll give them though, their dramas may be cringy but their face cards would never decline. In the first episode I was like, ‘are these models or actors?’ where the normal ugly looking humans at? where my people who roll up to school like we got ran over by a truck on the way?
Anyway, here’s my quick review checklist:
#1. Episode 1 had me rolling my eyes, judging. I literally said to myself. ‘Oh great, another childish show with nonsense plot. Literally what’s with all that cringe over a damn shirt? Give it a rest already.’ But by episode 3 my arse was going ‘ahhhhh why are they so cuteeeeeeeeeee. Sunday, where the eff you at? Come early!’
#2. The creepy vibes from Oh was so strong, like damn dude did you take extra courses for this or what? Thank God he disappeared halfway through the series and we all just forgot about him. He’s probably out there following that one dude who showed him kindness and still being creepy. #savethatonedude.
#3. Hia had me rolling my eyes after Real confessed his feelings. This child gave me a headache. Dude, you’ve been touchy touchy with your best friend and initiating stuff since episode 1, and now you wanna play Mary the virgin? Then of course, he’d make out with Real, and still say he’s not sure about his feelings. If only I could reach into the screen and slap him with a rubber chicken. No, every time he opens his mouth to lie about his feelings I go, ‘my brother, my brother, my brother, let us have peace. Go sit somewhere with your nonsense.’ Ain't no way his arse was still confused after that third kiss. Heck they should have married after that second kiss.
#4. Not gonna lie, I was bored the first few episodes, almost dropped this. And that one cringy scene where Rak shouted Fah’s name during that football game. Ahhhhh, I wanted to find some nice earth, dig a deep hole and just, lie inside. The secondhand embarrassment I felt...yikes. Man was out there having his High School Musical moment, and I wanted to disappear on his behalf.
#5. Also what the hell is up with Rak, a uni student acting like a child? Was he cute, sure, but what grown up acts like that? Bls needs to stop letting grown ups act so childish, it’s really unbecoming and nonsense.
#6. PUNLEE IS THE MAN: There was no nonsense on his part. He sees it, he likes it, he wants it, he gets it. I wish he’d have taught Hia a thing or fifteen, dude was wasting screen time with his nonsense.
#7. I did not care for the stupid misunderstandings from both the main and second leads. Especially that whole sequence with the confession at the airport. Boy you did not even wait to hear an answer and ran away to sulk at some abandon parking lot. Like??? Let us to be serious in this life people.
#8. The shock I got when Fah took Rak’s hand and led it south. I was like. ’NOOOOOO, not the baby, he’s not ready. He’s too innocent, please don’t do that! Stop it!’ Loved that he saw he wasn’t ready and stopped. The breath I let out. Fast forward to ep12, and I am singing 'The innocence is goneeeee.' Like, what angle was that even?
#9. Though, FAH did not waste 1 single second the moment Rak said he was ready. LMAO, my man was hungry!!! Rak grew up too fast. Tears. But it was done really sweet and beautiful, and it turned out Rak was not as innocent as I assumed.
#10. Episode 11 was so emotional. I went through anger, tears, understanding, then happiness for the two. We need to retire this whole episode 11 curse. For the love of all things bl, please, stop breaking our hearts!
#11. I repeat, PUNLEE IS THE MAN: For that one cafe scene alone, he’s officially my fav bl character of 2025.
12. FINALE: Everyone got their happy ending, so smiles all around for our couples. Liked how Rak's father apologised to Fah, and how mature Fah was about everything. Like how Rak sister has been supportive of him throughout this drama as well. That scene with Rak and Fah was... yeah innocence don't live here no more. Lee still the man! Hia and Real, about effing time.
#13. That theme song always had me doing a happy dance.
All in all. I enjoyed the stories of all the couples, they were entertaining even with the cliches and unnecessary misunderstanding. The plot wasn’t anything new or special, it’s been done in other bls. Fake dating turns real. The cast being new was noticeable, cuz the acting was nothing to write home about, so there’s a lot of room for improvement, but they still managed to hold my attention and kept me entertained so it was not time wasted. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a new bl to watche, especially Domundi lovers. It’s cute and fluffy and serious in some parts. I look forward to more from the cast.
Anywho, see you all for the next Domundi drama, my arse will tune in for anything Domundi.

San The 100 year Old VIRGIN
No really, knowledge was chasing some of these characters but they were faster, cuz the heroes didn’t even bring a knife to a gun fight, they brought a flashy projector with bad batteries, which immediately died. LIKE??? WHY, CHILDREN, WHY? LMAO.This had some of the most cartoonish dramas scenes I’d ever seen, and I loved every moment of it. That being said, I swear the comedy made some of the characters seem like they had the combined IQ of that one coyote from looney tunes.
Also, tell me who the real Ms Wad is. No I don’t want to live in the present and learn a lesson. I am nosy, I WANT TO KNOW!! Which reminds me, was Wee on a Treadmill while he was trying to get to San in that dream sequence or am I tripping?
Sskskssksn, San being horny on main was gold. Mfer might die tomorrow, but he wanted to spend the night eating. I get it, after being a virgin for 100 years and pulling a stud like Wee, I too will totally ignore my dead date. His horny arse even said, ‘you can just lie there’ LOL, is that a kink I'm hearing? Huuhhh??.
Anyway. Listen, Century of Love is what you get when you give Daffy Duck artistic rights, cuz this was a chaotic funny ride. No, no, hear me out. *check notes*
1. The big bad villain showed up to the final battle in his bathrobe!! And he spend most of it, fighting his side-kick. LIKE??? LOL, settle this when you go home? why is yous all gonna fight now? And the funny part was, he kept shooting people in the back and in the leg, making sure he didn't hit anything vital. And of course, he immediately die and I was like... nahhhh...this is like sad and stuff mr...whatever your name was. He was so one-dimensional I can barely even remember his face. Oh, well, he dead though, so...stuff.
2. San giving Ms Wad the stone. QUE??? I was confusion that whole exchange, dafug you mean she deserves the stone cuz you didn’t chose her? that's not how it works? It made no sense, other than bringing drama—which, yes, I ate up. But damn, great-great grandfather done lost his marbles with that decision. Cuz why?? Out of guilt? And he knew he’d die without it, so then what’s the point of him choosing Wee if he doesn’t even get to be with him? make it make sense!
3. San, oh San. Mfer put on a hoodie, catwalk to the enemy's garage, saw that Suchat is a stupid head, then proceeded to tell the wheel chair villain exactly how to defeat him. LIKE?? The whole time he was talking I was like: Child, child! Will you keep quiet?? What surprised me the most though, is that after the villain heard all that, he just ignored it. He put his hands on his eyes and went, ‘la la la la, nothing to hear here! Nope, not me, I’m hearless!’
4. The minions throwing their guns away and grabbing machetes so they could match San. LIKE??? BROTHERS, BROTHERS, did we come here today for playing??? What nonsense was that? Not gonna lie though, that whole cartoonish fighting and with San doing his fancy arse poses had me rolling with laughter. It was very entertaining.
5. Wee, believing it took two days for his gun wounds and scars to disappear. Come on son, don’t shame your cool auntie. She did not raise you to be this dense and have the IQ of a potato. It took him literally a century to put two and two together. I hope they don't let him work the cash register at work, cuz---good thing he married an old rich guy.
6. Tao, throwing all his calculation out of the window the moment someone with the same face as Ms Wad showed up. Then why you bother with all that mumbo jumbo rituals? Then in the finale, he talking about it doesn't matter who it is. Boy if you don't harsh your face. I liked him though, he made me laugh in a lot of places, especially when he found out San's junk had basically been out of service for a 100 years.
7. I’m not even gonna comment on the Goddess. I aint trying get my arse strike by thunder or nothing--nope, not today! But like, why all the drama? Homegirl was so dramatic. Thunder here, rain there, nightmares in the corner, Wee on that treadmill, then stare at the camera for a little bit. Like, girl, I get it, someone grind your colourful stone and drank it, but damn girl, chill? Please?
No but this show had me rolling. That fight scene between them in episode 8-9 made me choke on my popcorn with laughter. HAHAHA, that exchange scene was so unserious, comedy gold, I found myself laughing instead of fearing for them.
CHARACTERS
Whom ever casted this drama deserves a pizza slice and like half a can of soda, cuz they ate with this. The chemistry between DaouOffroad was chemistrying and the support characters were supporting. I liked all the characters even Ms Wad and Third. Yes, I even liked Dr. Second Lead.
I loved DaouOffroad in Love In Translation, watched it while waiting on new episodes of this. (Side note. The moment I saw Daou in that drama I went, OMG YOUS HAVE HAIR?? SINCE WHEN?) LOL, but lowkey every time Wee left his job, I kept expecting Yang to show up and go ‘Phumjai get back to work!’ Also like, am I the only one surprised that Wee didn't get fired? Does he even work at that store, or does he just show up to move stuff around and go back home?
Anyway, I love Wee and San together. They made me laugh and cry. And like Chu, I was their supporter since day one. I love San in his old grandpa outfit just acting like a dinosaur and being effortlessly funny, while Wee was all sunshine and rainbows although his situation was so sad.
One thing I didn't like though about San was when he was being an annoying Coward, trying to pimp Vee to Third like a half eaten sandwich. Like were you hit in the head with a coconut? in what world is you quietly dying in a corner without even saying goodbye good? Boy must have left his brain in the past under that basket, cuz he was talking nonsense in that scene. I was ready to fight like, 'No, shut up, you two need each other! Go to him child.' Thank the goddess Third had enough brain cells to spare and brought Wee to him.
One thing I loved about Wee was when he was like, dude you don’t tell me what to do, if I want to date the reincarnation of the guy who killed me, I’ll do. Eff your concern I like dying. No, but I really liked how he formed his own opinion and didn’t get persuaded. Most bl characters would have made like postage stamp and stayed where they were when San warned them.
Now how in the hell did San become a great-great grandfather if he’s a 100 year old virgin? Like, his thing didn't even work when we met him. It was just decoration, collecting dust until Wee arrived. So howw??
And LOL, one slow motion shag and San is out there erasing Ms Wads existence with Wee’s. Damn, virgin’s am I rightttt? Also why were they so happy telling everyone and their mommy about their slow motion deed? San's better than me though, cuz, after a 100 years, I'd have tore Wee's cloth off with my teeth and toes.
Anywho, the casting of San’s family was perfect. I loved their reaction to things, especially the old man. They were all a fun bunch. And usually I don’t vibe with loud nosy characters like Chu, but I didn’t mind it in this one, cuz she added color to Sans personality whenever they were in a scene together. And, I love, love, love her tops *chefs kiss* beautiful.
Ms Wad showing up on a random Tuesday to ruin everything made me roll my eyes. Of course she’s gonna show up, we can’t have peace in this house. Also, there’s been too many females popping up in bls lately, imma need them all to find the exit, having an infestation in this economy is not good for my health.
That being said, I hated Ms Wad when she showed up that Tuesday, but after she kicked Suchat’s in that alley, I clapped. Girl thank you! That dude just vexes me! Also she's the real MVP of this show, girl just wanted to make paper and she made it her whole personality. In the finale when she asked to be paid, I yelled, 'Yes girl, I love you!' no, she needs her own show in the same universe where she scam people for money.
And that Third fella, the moment he showed up, I was like ‘Who is the jo with the jojo?’ Out there talking about ‘I liked you since our school days but waited too long’ Then keep waiting. Literally every time he tried to stake some claim I was like ‘Master, master, master, go sit somewhere.’ and then mfer went and said ‘If you break his heart, I’ll take him from you.’ Take him and go where?? Where is you going to him? Wee just rejected your sorry arse because he's in love with a 100 year old virgin who is in love with a ghost.
How the eff do drama guys think they can just take away the love-interest? I remember in Love Mechanic (Vee Sucks, goddamn air breather) that one random boxer with the personality of a brick wall, threatening to take Mark away if Vee didn’t threat him right. Bish where you gonna take him, huh? He literally can’t stand your peeping arse, where the eff you think you gonna take him??? Like, is that supposed to be romantic? Arrgggg.
Oof, but in the end, I came to like Third. Even understood it when he punched San. And I like how when he understand Wee's feelings for San, he supported them, and became a friend. Sucked though that he had to watch them be all lovey dovey, but that's on him for still staying in the same city after that rejection. I'd have moved countries. Mars couldn't have been far enough.
Anyway, Suchat just effing sucks, and I was glad he and his giant hair died. Won't even bother writing about him, y'all know he deserves to purchase real estate on the sun... so...
With all that being said, yes, the acting in this was good, the cast did not take their acting lessons from a block of cheese. Little San was such a good actor, really, he embodied his grown up aura so well. That child is going places in the industry. Side note: isn’t it weird Wee never asked about the kid once he moved in? Like did he think he’s in his room this whole time or what?
Plot
I liked it. The moment I read the summary, I knew I wanted to watch it. Also the comedy in this was on point, it made me giggle where I was supposed to, so kudos. The only bl I’ve find myself rewatching over and over is Cutie Pie, but I can see myself returning to this in the future to watch that funny exchange scene again.
The plot wasn’t without flaws. Yes, the villains had no depth and were so cartoonish, and the heroes made some bad decisions among other things, but it was entertaining enough that it wasn’t a glaring issue, which is all one can ask for nowadays in a bl show.
Episode 9 had me bawling my eyes off, so much, because you see, I watched this and episode 9 of Meet You At The Blossoms back to back, literally, why did I put myself through that???
I wasn’t ready for this show to end, so I went into the finale already sad. During the goodbyes, I went to pour myself some wine just in case it doesn't end well. The way I clapped when Ms Wad saved the day. I thought it was going to be a sad ending, and I would have accepted it, but this would have been a review of me cussing the writers and their ancestors, so here's another slice of pizza writers, thanks for the happy ending.
All in all, it was an entertaining show, even with its flaws. There was chaos, laughter, tears and arrggg moments, and I enjoyed it all. I highly recommend. It’s going straight to my list of best bls this year along side, Unknown and My Stand-In.

You Should Have Watched This Yesterday
There's been a lot of garbage dramas this year, but once in a while you stumble across a little gem, and it brightens your whole day. This drama was beautiful, I loved every single moment of it and wished it was longer. Yes, even moments with that in-betweener brother, who meant well, but acted like he sniffed glue on his spare time. On second thought, if I catch him!Listen, I wasn't even looking for this drama. I was scrolling my somewhere on tiktok when a video popped up and this sister was like, 'watch this, it's good.' Obviously, since most of what's currently airing is meh, I checked out the first episode and ended up benching the whole thing in one go. Sure, a story, a plot like this of love and pining and acceptance in our society isn't anything new, but the direction and execution of it made it worthwhile. Here's my quick review:
The main characters had great chemistry and made the show. I felt their longing behind the screen, all the words they couldn't say, and the stable touches and wants were so obvious it was painful. Kudos to them for making this short drama feel so complete. The side characters were also okay, though that brother needed to take a hike. I get that he was concerned and loved his brother, and in his own misguided way was looking out for him, but bro invented a whole arse girlfriend cuz he saw his friend with a girlfriend one time in freshmen year, really Susan, really?
I loved the few songs we got in this as well, the background music and the nature all added to how much I enjoyed this drama. Personally, I'm not a bug person and would probably complain to high heavens if I should spend a whole summer here, but everything was so beautiful, it made me fall in love with their love and wanted to go summer camping with a lover, bugs be damned.
No really, they were out there: fruit picking, sunset watching, running around the woods and by the rivers, swimming, drawing, bonfires, playing in the rain, awwwwww, my heart was full and it wasn't even my relationship. Yes, I'm sure we all felt that kiss when they finally got together, the yearning and the pining really paid off, so congratulations to them I guess. Us single people would be in the corner.
I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone who loves bl, it's worth your time, and it's short and amazing, give it a chance. No really, watch it. Wish to see more of the two leads in the future. This is obviously going straight to one of my favourite dramas this year. Now off to watch the special episodes to see them be more lovey dovey in front of my salad.

I Can Still Hear Ai going... P'YUUU...
Peoples, we got a rapping confession, followed by a guitar scene confession. It was a two-in-one double kill. I almost didn't make it out alive. It was brutal. Also, did anyone want to reach into the screen and shake P-Yu when he was treating his ex-girlfriend like precious cargo right in front of Ai's salad?Well, that ending was super anticlimactic, after all that dreaming that was it? A pull out knife, and a neck brace? Arite then. It was also very criminal how we didn't get a last moment between Yo and Ing, we were robbed and I wanna have words with whoever was in charge of the script.
Anyway, can we talk about how dirty they did Wan. Sure, the dude just couldn't take a hint that Ai wasn't interested, and Yo misguided way to help backfired, but damn, did they have to do my man like that? Screaming on top of your lungs that you don't like him was just wild. Poor dude, he better than me though, still helping Ai, me, I'd have never shown my face to him again.
This show is one of those that grows on you. When it started I was like, meh, really? But along the way it became my comfort show, it was wholesome and I enjoyed watching it. The two pairs had good chemistry, the plot, when the writers remembers their main objective wasn't bad, and I had a few chuckles. Oh, and the parents were really kind, which was refreshing to see.
Listen, the writers had a good plot, however, they did not execute it to its full potential. At some point it felt like they forgot the main plot-line, so they had all those floating dreams to fill the gap. They even forgot how Ai was playing some investigator or another with that closet wall full of drawings and stuff. They could have done so much more with this plot, instead they tiptoed around it to show us a whole episode with Yu's ex, Pan.
No, cuz what in the random arse was them dedicating a whole episode to Yu's ex for? When she returned I was like, 'oh, you still in this show?' then they gave her a whole episode as a result of things that didn't happen on screen. Who even cared about that character? Sure they needed that side-story for that Ice fellow to play a part in the finale, but a whole arse episode for characters no one cares about is wild.
And she only added to my anger. Yes, I felt bad for her, was even rolling my eyes at that annoying Ice and going 'how about you go melt somewhere creep.' but at the same time, let's be honest, she put herself in that situation. She had a good boyfriend, living in a big arse mansion (how they pay for that house? or did their parents leave them stack of paper in the bank?) who loved her, and she broke up with him, so she could go fake date someone and became famous. I felt bad for her, but the whole time when she was there and Yu was treating her like a newborn baby, feeding her and making my blood pressure go up, I was like, yeah, Sharon, you walked into that one yourself.
YU AND AI
These two were cute when they were bickering in the beginning of the show. And their little church scenes. P'Yu always somehow managed to make Ai angry. I did like their friendship, and when they got together as well. I assumed Ai was gonna be passive in the relationship, but he wasn't, episode 10 ending had me going... ooo... so this is where we are at? okaii. I liked how protective of each other they were. I also really love how it seemed like they lived in two houses, just going from one to the other, and the parents were so chill about the whole thing.
However, these two needed to communicate. Ai putting himself in constant danger was not it, all of those could have been avoided if he'd communicated with Yu. Sure he didn't want him to worry by keeping his dreams a secret, still, feels like trusting the one you love is better than keeping secrets that are putting you in harms way.
Yu had me until he decided to be a good guy and help his ex-girlfriend. Yes, yes, I understand, and in reality if an ex needed help, I'd have done the same, but damnnnn that episode made me glare at him over my popcorn and wine. Another place I was glaring was when Ai took all those pills. Child, you cannot be this stupid, sure your friend gave you a bad advice, but surely, Ai knew how dangerous it was, no? And to think nothing happened to him. They shook him a bit and he woke up. #facepalm.
But all in all, cute couple, wholesome-ish, it was nice seeing their friendship grow into love. They did well as leads and had me invested in their story. I really liked how they felt like a happy family with the rest of the cast, all those eating together scene was very heart-warming.
YO AND ING
Now, we were all rooting for them, seeing as anyone with eyes could see that Yo liked Ing back. What I didn't like was Ing's attitude when he confessed and more-or-less got rejected. Yes, it was frustrating to see Yo pretend, but when all was said and done, it felt like Ing somehow forced Yo to accept his feelings? I don't know, he deserved to be angry, but stopping to be his friend, and all that anger was not it. Still I was happy when Yo finally accepted his feelings and they got together. I cringed so hard during that rapping scene, was it cute, perhaps, but I watched it between my fingers out of secondhand embarrassment so...but anyway, glad they figured out their stuff and got together. Cute and whatnot.
All-in-all a nice show. It wasn't the greatest, but it grew on me, and it had its moment. I'll recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit different other than school setting as a main focus. I'll definitely be checking out the future work of the cast.

LMAO They Left Atom’s Arse In Phuket
The side characters in this drama were as interesting as chalk. Also, Atom. Child. You touch people with that hand!!That being said. HAHAHAKKJSHFN That ending bedroom scene was just foul!! How you gon’ do that in broad-daylight with your grandmother sitting right there?? The poor woman had to listen to her grandchild getting eaten for two days while making dessert. Yikes.
Also, for a show trying to be ‘gangster’ they sure forgot that random bathtub gangster real quick. Mfer got killed and I was like ‘Oh, so what happened with that gangster group?’ and the writers were like ‘Whomst? We don’t know them. They don’t go here. '
ACTING:
Listen, I sometimes think most bl actors take their acting lessons from a block of cheese, or from like one of those red bricks, but I'd be the first to admit that MeenPing has improved. Sure, I still went ‘Child, what are you doing with your eyebrows? And it's your arms supposed to be doing that?’ more times than I can count, but their acting did not distract me as much as it did in their first two dramas. So yaaay for improvement. Love that for them.
What distracted me though was Ryu’s parent situation. Like, it’s Meen ever going to play a role where he has loving parents? In their first drama, his mother took half his kidney and ditch him at the corner of like a soup shop, he ended up a lonely gangster in the second one, and his mother here made him sleep in the dumpster because he liked to play basketball. I’m curious what his next parents are gonna bring to the table.
CHARACTERS
Like I said, the characters in this show were as interesting as a pineapple. Literally, except for Chogun, I have no idea what anyone’s name on the team was. I think two of them became a couple because the other one collected parking lot tickets or something? Whatever, I guess every show needs background noise.
I liked Ryu and Zen, sure Ryu came with a lot of baggages, that one gangster friend? and his mother, and Zen had his sick granny, but I like how supportive they were of each other. I enjoyed watching them together, they didn’t annoyed me so much and MeenPing had great chemistry. My fav part was when they were mature enough to let the other follow their own dream. Finally, there was no unrealistic love gestures like 'I'll move to Phuket with you' and I cheered.
That being said, did Ryu leave his fancy mansion to become a hobo, where he gets beaten every 2-to-3-business-days because his mama won't let him play basketball??
Zen came off as a pushover and at times I wanted to throw sticks into his hair for being a dumbass. Literally, he had so many chances to push Atom into that damn pool but instead he ended up in his bed. It seemed like he was afraid of setting boundaries. Be firm boy, no you don't want to go watch no darn movie!
And Atom. Oh ATOM. Antony my boy. Why? Homeboy just won’t give up and leave. Am I the only one who was like ‘aww poor Atom, such a nice guy, he deserves better’ in the beginning but somewhere along the way every time he showed up went, ‘My friend go sit somewhere, that’s enough of you.’ No really, Atom’s first coach must have told him the meaning of rebound, and homeboy decided to make it his entire personality, cuz why the eff did he keep coming back knowing full well he had negative 2.0 chance with Zen?
And what the eff was up with all the nonsense romantic gesture he made for Zen?
Listen, Romantic gestures are supposed to make you swoon and go ‘awww’ You know, like in the episode where Zen got on his tiny bike and rushed after Ryu when he was kidnap for the how-many-times-can-one-person-be-kidnap-and-beaten-until-it-gets-boring time? like:
ZEN: Ryu, wait for me, I’m coming to save you. I have no plan, no fighting skills. I in no way told anyone where I was going and of course I did not bring anything pointy or sharp. But, I love you sooo much and I am coming to rescue you. *in-love noises*
Me, slowly chewing my popcorn while Zen was being thrown around like a piñata.
ME: Dumbass nooo... they beaten your arse…yous is bleeding…but awww you came to save him. *cries in stupid love* #sosad
So yeah, stupid arse romantic gestures are supposed to make us swoon. So tell me why every time Atom made some sort of romantic gestures I wanted to snitch to his dad about it like: ‘Atom’s dad, come collect your boy, he’s out here making unnecessary romantic gestures and embarrassing his ancestors.’
Literally, nonsense stuff Atom did that no one asked him to do.
- Confronting his team alone: His arse got beaten and all he got from Zen was sympathy.
- Given up his scholarship: Sure, there’s nothing wrong with being in love with a guy you met under the public pool one time, but given up your future because the boy you have a crush on’s boyfriend got beaten is wild. Like was that supposed to make Zen fall for him?
- His arse getting left in Phuket. LMAO, what, he thought getting Zen that scholarship was going to make him love him? Boo-boo.
His character was created to be the second lead that never got the guy, so he didn't bring a whole lot to the table. Sure the writers tried to make him mysterious, and interesting with whatever the hell was up with him and his dad, and sure he quit his future for a guy he met at the bottom of the pool one time, but like he was a very nice fella in the beginning.
And, yes, he was born with a hand and knew how to use the pictures on his phone to you know—do stuff, but like, he was still such a nice fella until he got on my nerve for always inserting himself in their business, like dude, read the room, you are the elephant.
Side note: Atom sure knew how to use that photo galley on his phone huh?? ^^I don’t understand why he want a boyfriend when clearly, he and himself can have a good time all on their own. See how quickly the whole thing lasted, his hand must work wonders.
Anywho, I wanted to know what happened to him in the end, but I guess I can be satisfied with his arse getting left in Phuket.
LIN LIN LIN.
What was the reason Lin fell in love with Ryu? It felt like she woke up one random Thursday and went. ‘Let’s see, what’s on my to-do-list today?’:
1. Pretend not the see my dad’s drinking problem
2. Ruin the school’s basketball team cuz im nosy
3. Fell in love with that guy I saw through the fence one time
4. If there’s time, put my nose in Ryu’s family problems, cuz, yolo right?
No, Lin having a crush on Ryu made no sense to me? Atom’s crush I understood. He met a cute boy while sitting under the public pool that one Tuesday. So he fell for his rescuer, but what was the reason Lin had a crush on Ryu? Was it because she saw him through that fence one time on the basketball court?
Whatever, her nosy arse was so annoying, getting in everyone and their mama’s business but ignoring her own. Child your father is a drinking away your collage fund, hows about we focus on that, huh? Good luck to that one dude who confused to her, now he has to deal with her and her drunkard dad.
PLOT
i actually found myself watching most of the game, instead of fasting forward. Good camera angles and I was intrigued. That being said, there was not much of a plot going on here. The gangster plot went nowhere. That one bathtub dude died in a black scene, and these children who just witness so many deaths went home and took a nap.
Zen’s grandmother being sick got annoying, because what’s with parents figure hiding their sickness? It vexes me every time it happens. Do they think them suddenly dying and leaving their loved ones alone without any closure, and feeling guilty for not noticing their sickness will be the better option?? Arrggg.
And was Ryu’s mother allergic to basketball or something? homegirl was doing too much. Like, go take a nap.
Also, why the hell did the writers expect me to cheer for that coach? He’s an alcoholic who deserved to be fired. He caused the death of his wife, and still keeps drinking, even at school, and what does his daughter do, give him more. And even when he was in trouble for it, he was still drinking it in front of the students. The way I rolled my eyes when the board voted for him to stay. Talkng about ‘I wanna keep coaching’ how about you coach yourself some rehab first!! Nonsense. And did his hair keep getting blonder?
FINALE
The ending was rushed. We didn’t get to see why the school board change their mind, how it was in Phuket, and what became of Atom, but I guess this half baked conclusion is better than waiting for a season two, no?
I was so happy when the team lost, cuz Zen is such a dumbass. Who the hell tells his team and bf his moving to Phuket seconds before a big game? Literally, he couldn’t have waited?
And also was the other team waiting for them while they were having their moment in the middle of the game? You know, cuz now it’s the time to hug and take a breather. ‘Yes, you moving to Phuket. So what do you want, a medal?’ Thank God they lost, I’d have riot if they won.
HJAJAHAHHA LMAO. They forgot that gangster friend who found him in the dumpster, only to bring him in the finale and have him literally disappear after he said like two lines. Then they proceeded to show us he turned into some hooded stalker, with a montage of his and Ryu’s time together, and I’m just rolling my eyes going. ‘Move it along, I literally don’t care about this person.’
With all that being said, y’all lying if you say you didn’t want that throuple during that awkward bed scene. Hush your face, you know you wanted it. But like, that scene made me laugh so hard—poor Zen, if only his pushover arse knew how to say 'no'.
Oh and, that theme song was dope!!!
Anyway, if you like basketball and MeenPing give this a watch, it’s good for passing the time, and I recommend it.

We Need To Normalize Un-happy Endings.
Personally, I think this drama was made to give us high blood pressure and headache, cuz what the hell? The lead was so frustrating I hate Wednesday & Thursdays now. His miscommunication was also sooo frustrating, in the finale, when he was running to confess, and I should have probably been going awww, my arse went: 'Dude, breathe on your time, hurry the eff up so I can go to bed.' Cuz, WTF? Seriously, I contemplated asking Chatgpt how to virtually slap someone with a rubber chicken, cuz dafug? Also, did anyone care about that gl couple? What even was their purpose in this story? Were they supposed to be here? Like, does the director knows they in this drama? They were so uninteresting they could have been replaced by a house plant and it wouldn't have made a damn difference to the story. They were like an after thought, like they sneaked into the drama. I blinked and that one girl was confessing cuz apparently the other girl touched her book one time? Okay, good luck I guess.
Listen, this whole drama was like a sad merry go around that played clown music. The whole plot is cuz one dude who in certain angles looked 23% like Barcode before he levelled up to werewolf, is in love with his best friend, who acts like that one friend who owes you money, but he's so enduring you don't have the heart to ask him for it. And it's fine, have a crush on your best friend Susan, you are entitled. But dude woke up one Tuesday, confessed so vaguely, got misunderstood and made it his whole personality. Mfker walking around writing in his dairy about how the best friend don't like him back, so his solution after the misunderstanding is to stop being his friend and just frustrate the hell out of the poor boy. And it goes on in circle for 8 agonising episodes. And the worse part, we all can clearly see the best friend likes him back. Dishonor on your effing cow.
This is literally the plot of every episode:
Ba Woo: I like him so much, but he only wants to be my friend.
Second lead: Tell him, be specific. Say, 'I like you, like, like like you'.
Ba Woo: No, he won't get it. I'll just stop being his friend.
Lead: Why are you so distant now my best friend forever?
Ba Woo: I don't want to be your friend. Stay away from me.
Lead: Why? Tell me what's wrong, I'll do anything for you.
Ba Woo: No, stay away. Let's not be friends forever and ever.
Me: Hug a cactus Sharon.
Seriously, people who can't communicate shouldn't be allowed to have crushes. I felt so bad for Ji Hoon cuz Ba Woo just frustrated the heck out of this boy, and he tried everything to stay being his friend. Sure we can say Ba Woo took a chance and when it didn't go his way he stepped back, but this dude didn't just step back, he acted in a way that hurt both himself and Ji Hoon. Dafug you mean, 'No Ji Hoon you don't like me.' Janet are you in his head? Is his feelings your feelings Bob? Arrrggg this boy!
Then that one in-betweener dude start having feelings for Ba Woo? I was like: 'Hey hey hey, my brother, let us have peace, please. Have a crush on your own time. Even the current relationship we don't know where it's heading, and you wanna come add your problem on top of our matter. If you don't go sit somewhere.' Also why the eff you gonna fall for that frustrating hair net? You know his communication skills on the same level as one of them no-reply automatic emails.
Finale:
Was just as frustrating, Ba Woo rejects Ji Hoon, says he doesn't want to be friends and ran away, again. Ji Hoon stands there without moving going 'oh nooo, Ba Woo, don't gooo.' Then he confesses his feelings for Ba Woo to his guitar, you know, cuz why not. Finally after some nonsense, second lead looking like someone stole his lunch and a dairy entry later, Ba Woo finally comes to his senses, and runs to Ji Hoon. Then he's confessing and I'm just looking at him like, 'Oh give over, the charm is gone, I am so over you now.' I should be awww-ing and happy, but I just... I've had enough. Booooo to your happy ending, although you were all cute and stuff. Boooo.
And like, I get it. First crush, best friends, scared of losing each other, but come on Janet, just communicate, please. Like, if you think Ji Hoon is a pumpkin, just spell it out for him. They dragged this so much with misunderstandings and miscommunication, I think I started growing white hairs from screaming at my screen for them to talk. Like, speak children, speak.
All in all, arite. This gave me such a headache, I couldn't bring myself to fully enjoy their happy ending. The plot is nothing special, your typical secret crush on best friend story, but with a side of frustration that makes you wanna reach into the screen and slap yourself a lead. But it had it's cute and funny moments, so there's that. The male lead, bless his heart, was likeable, the second lead was fine too, I guess. The main lead...yeah, he was in the drama. And that gl couple were there to fill in the time, so don't expect anything from them.
It's a light romance bl, so watch it if you want, but be warn you might be pulling your hair. The leads weren't bad, but the plot was frustrating. Still, it's watchable, so if you have more patient than I did, give it a chance.
K-bls needs to step up this year, like, why are you on the floor? It's only May.

Babe Went Full Savage
Listen. I'm not a sad person who hates happiness, but like, I hate happiness on Charlie, cuz dude was happy all the time. Ain't nobody that happy all the time. Also was he laughing or crying??? Could never tell the difference. And was Charlie necessary for this story? Did he need to be in the drama? Sure, he stole some power Babe wasn't even using and he faked his death one time, but like... he was just there! And what was the point of their powers? Seemed like they disappeared when they need them the most. I was like, okay good for you Babe, you can catch stuff flying towards your head, and?? I see something aiming for my head, I dodge, you are not special.
Anyway, before we start, I'd like to give Pavel his flowers. He was such a good actor in this, made everyone else look like they were being paid to act like trees.
Now to the review.
1) Nothing, and I mean nothing will get me to dislike 'Way'. I love that Mfer sooo much. Like, the moment he popped up on screen, I went, who's that? that one right there, WHO IS THAT.?? I don't know, must be Nut's aura or something, because nothing he did made me annoyed. And everything, and I mean, everything, annoys me.
2) Pavel's tattoo. Full savage indeed.
3) Charlie... well, I mean, he was in the drama. After we learnt of the reason he came into Pitbabe's life, I was like, sure, good for you, you power stealing, death faker, glasses wearing air-breather.
PLOT
Interesting storyline, but if it wasn't for tiktok comments and videos, wouldn't understand half of it. It was all over the place, and the only thing that kept me watching was Pavel's acting and Nut's face. And what was the point of that korean transfer racer person? Was his whole storyline to be kidnap and show us Charlie's noodle arms could hold its own in a boxing? Dude could have been replaced by one of those racing cars and I wouldn't even have noticed. Alan and Jeff's story was nice too. Tony should have suffered in a pit on Mars, or under a mountain, either would have been awesome. Way deserved so much better, deciding to go in the direction they did with him was not it.
And I refuse to talk about the Mama, Papa thing. Mfers out there trying to make me vomit up my lunch!
CHARACTERS:
Loved: Pitbabe and Way
Liked: Jeff, Alan, and that boss person who sponsored them? forget his name. I could look it up while typing this but... nah too much work.
Tolerated: Charlie. Like I said, dude was in the drama, circling around Babe, it was hard not to notice him. He was there!! Smiling.... all the time. Though, I did like that we finally had a top who wasn't the traditional good at everything, cool, arrogant and non-chalant.
Tony: Oh man, dude did all that! All that, and he just up and die. ARGGGGG.
Kenta, oh boy. What a shoe licker. Where to begin. Dude was such a bummer. Like a train crash you can't look away from. I wanted to hug and slap him at the same time. Towards the end, I legit did not care whether he lived or die.
POWERS:
Way supposedly can manipulate people into doing whatever he wants, and he waited all those years to get Babe? And ALAN'S POWERS. Talk about if useless was a person. Dude got the gift of foresight and he did nothing, nothing with it!!
ACTING.
Pavel left everyone in the dust. Pooh was there... smiling and wearing glasses. I guess. that's something. Nut, well, like I said must be his aura, can't find anything wrong to say about him. Everything he did was top notch, bestest boy. Some of the actors were decent as well.
OVERALL:
A decent watch, wasn't the greatest, but I can see a lot of people really loving it. This could have easily been a 5 star thing, but then they off'ed Way and that was when I drew the line. Overall, watch it, if not for anything for Pavel's acting.

Could Have Been Great...
Zee: OMG, I have an idea for a royal series I wanna do with Nunew. Very princey, very royal.Aof(director): Ohhh sounds good, I'd commission a writer and have a novel written.
Writer: Here you go, your novel.
Me: *read it, enjoyed the story and got super excited for the drama.*
*Drama starts at a billion years: huge budget, great cast, awesome costumes and sets, over top production. I'm in my disney feels. It was worth the wait.*
*3 episodes later...*
Director: You know what, how about we throw that novel away and do something else.
Me: But you had a novel... that was the whole...huh?
Director: Alright, quiet on set, on my count, we just gonna do our own thing... action!
ME: Dishonor on your ancestors goat, forehead, dishonor!
So yeah, literally what was the point of the novel if Aof and his forehead was going to throw the whole thing away and do whatever the hell he wanted? The script was meh, and the execution more so. somewhere after episode 7 it felt like a chore trying to get through it, the secondary character felt like an after thought, hated how they ruin Ramil's story with that unnecessary nonsense, poor dude lost his crown , and the friendship between him and Khanin and for what? I did like Jay and Calvin though, but please don't get me started on how bad they did Charan, dude was so one dimensional it was painful.
My fav scene would forever be the moment Khanin was introduced as the prince and he was in that royal outfit and walking down the stairs and you could see how nervous he was, so beautiful, Nunew did such a good job. I actually also liked the finale, but it's such a shame they waited until the last minute to give us depth to any of the secondary characters. Calvin was a disposable prince, Paypai was from a political family, Charan family took an oath to serve since forever... interesting give me more of that, instead we got the evil king who had no repercussion whatsoever die knowing his bloodline still reigns, give over.
This one had such a huge potential to be a great series, unfortunately even with the big budget, great sets, costumes and cast, it still came out of Domundi, so we got what we got. I have a lot of things to say, but imma keep quiet and go sit my somehow. One thing though, some of the music that came out of this was great, so if not for anything we had that.
Anywho, looking forward to the casts' next work.

Here was my review after the first 3 episodes. I started my rating at 8 stars.
"In every age, power remains with those who win." Which means, the competition for the throne of Emmaly is about to be deadly. Three heirs, one throne. Ahhh, I'm so seated for this plot. Also, LMAO I don't trust anyone in Emmaly. Everyone is so shifty and suspicious like... that one prince in blue, the moment I saw his moustache I knew he was guilty of something. Khanin honey, imma need you to raid that closet and run back to England. Let me explain.
So, someone is trying to off Khanin and we don't know who, but after episode 3 I have narrowed it down to, well, everyone. Basically, the whole kingdom. Like, everyone on this show looks suspicious as eff,
My Reasons Why Everyone In Emmaly Is A Suspect
#1: The King: This man was playing chest by himself, and checkmate himself, that alone makes him suspicious.
#2: Green Prince: Dude entered the drama like we owed him money, angry and asking too many questions.
#3: Blue Prince: His moustache. Like, I don't know what he's guilty of, but it's not nothing. He did something, he looks super shifty.
#4: Pink Prince: Dude don't speak much, hiding something are we?
#5: Gold Prince: This man found out his son he believed was dead for 20 years is still alive, and so far all he's done is look sad for a bit and smiled all so sneering and... suspicious.
then we have the heirs:
#1: Princess Eva: Too pretty, wearing all them fancy gowns I don't have. Suspicious and guilty.
#2: Prince Ramil: This child speaks like basmati rice, slow and one at a time, but every word out of his mouth makes you wanna boo him. It's not looking good for him and his dad.
#3: Prince Khanin: Obviously he didn't attack himself but that child is Sassy. Bossy. Naughty. I feel he about to turn everything upside down, good luck Emmaly. Oh and Charan, poor dude was the first victim with the, I command you to be my guard stunt he pulled.
Others:
Charan: He said: "Power doesn't matter to me, but you do Your Highness." --> Royal guard too in love, he's a liability.
Calvin: 3 episodes in and all we got from him was a glance. Dude's hiding ,he did something.
Jay: Saw him for a second and he looked so pretty while singing... it's suspicious.
Paytai: He's close with Ramil and his father, so he must be guilty of something too.
So yeah, everyone is guilty, cuz this this drama is like a cross between Game of Thrones, Princess Diaries and Gossip Girl, you know, but make it gayer. No, but those three princes' had me rolling. These dudes gossip over tea. They had their fancy tea cups and everything out. lmao.
Anyway, so far, we 3 episodes in and I am super impressed by how grand everything feels. The scale, quality, and budget, everything feels so massive and well over my expectations. I was drooling over the wardrobe in episode 3 and Nunew Chawarin is one beautiful boy cuz he was born to play this role, he embodied being a prince with such ease and grace. And when he walked down those stairs to introduce himself? I stood up and bowed too, cuz... Your Highness!
My Impression after 3 episodes:
I am enjoying the drama so far, and impressed with the acting of the leads as well. Seeing Zee and Nunew bring their characters to life made me emotional. Overall, I am stunned with the drama in general, Everything from the outfits, locations, set designs, music to the cast is so beautifully done and detailed to perfection. The grand-ness-ness is majestic as hell.
After episode 3, it's clear the plot would focus on the fencing competition for the throne. It's a different plot from the many high school bls we mostly get, so already it's a win in my book. Not gonna lie, I have no idea what fencing is about, but from the little we saw it seems you just poke your pointy stick thingy at the other's head and then they poke back, and some dude shuts something in french, so yeah, sports and stuff. Either way, I can't wait for the competition to start.
What I'm looking forward to:
- Who is after Khanin and why.
- How Khanin and Charan goes from royal guard and prince to lovers. It's probably gonna hurt, but that's what tissues are for.
- The competition for the throne! Can't watch for the royal intrigue and backstabbing, it's gonna be amazing. I'll make popcorn and wine while watching.
- The beautiful aesthetics of the sets. I am ready to immerse myself in this royal aura.
- Fully meeting the other cast members and seeing what they bring to the table. From the trailer they are all about to give us drama, and I am seated for the ride.
- How Khanin adjusts to being a prince, living in the castle and coming to Emmaly. It's gonna be interesting seeing how he adjust to the change in status and meeting his new family after losing his current one.
- And of course who would win the throne in the end.
Also, lastly, Khanin, child, why is you saying no to being a prince? If someone told me I was a prince in this economy, I'd have been like: 'A prince prince? With my whole castle and everything prince? Dude, say less, I'm in.' No, really, they don't even have tell me the name of the country or nothing. Matter fact, just point me in the direction of where it is, and I'll walk there myself. This child was out there sobbing and wailing and angry. Understandable giving everything, but like, the title came with a hunky handsome royal guard. Nah fam, if he don't want it, I volunteer as tribute. This child playing with his blessings.
Anywho, I can't wait for the rest of the episodes, once every week is gonna be torture.
Enjoy the show royal subjects of Emmaly.
