Mimiberry

well well well; I went into this expecting nothing but was honestly surprised.
I’m not gonna exaggerate and say it was some top tier show or anything, but it was definitely AMAZING and better than so many other short/vertical kbls.
first of all all the actors did a great job and it surprised me. in almost every show there’s always moments where things feel awkward, weird, or even feels like the actors are just doing whatever they’re doing to get it done and aren’t actually putting effort into playing their roles but I honestly didn’t feel that way in the slightest. the chemistry between the main leads was nice, the show only having like 2 or 3 kissing scenes was actually pretty nice, it made it feel very lovely and heartwarming when they did express their love for each other that way and also helped focus more on the plot instead of drifting and just wanting to see them kissing and all over each other like all the time.
speaking of the plot, it was nothing crazy, but I liked the way they portrayed it without unnecessary exaggeration or trying so hard to add angst/ sad scenes.
I’d say it exceeded my expectations and I’m happy with it considering it was low budget and a short/ vertical show that I don’t watch all that often :)
