Think of an extra layer the writers thought of. I like how Ms. Anh (FL's)'s female manager is supportive of her.

It isn't the SFL fault bc the writers elected to portray her to be this way but I heard these people do exist our there. I don't condone cheating but I agree that they need to get the underlying !@#$9&! out of the way. lol 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Marriage and relationships as we all know is difficult enough. SFL is clearly trying to portray that they are further along than ML is comfortable with. Hoping that he will elect NOT to marry SFL if he doesn't have any feelings toward her (as we progresses) unlike his coworker.

Quite alarming signs...i.e. 1) After he went home, she followed him to his house and stayed overnight, 2) During the bday dinner, she asked him to change into his clothes in a drawer (that shouldn't exist since he hasn't stayed overnight), 3) Cornering him into lunch with her mom, 4) Skating well, etc. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣.

Do you recall the scene when the drunk wedding guest also mentioned how SFL might have thought it was noble for her to attain the full scholarship but in fact, she might have taken it from someone who clearly needs the funding more?!! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ Kudos for SFL for wanting to prove to herself along with others that she is not 'riding' on her parents coat tails, however, it is also good for her to gain an outsiders' perspectives on this.

Like some early commenters', who aren't novice in life and Asian dramas, indicated: SFL is fully aware on what she is doing to achieve her 'end game'! lol

I don't like SFL (not because she is wealthy [kept saying this because some commenters seem to think we dislike her due to her wealth] and amid some pleasantries): 1) 🤮 on how she invited FL to join them on the car ride and followed by uncalled for actions such as feeding ML in front of FL, 2) As her mom stated so blatantly, she did end up taking credit for FL's diligences with certain bank clients, etc.

IMO, she probably crushed on ML since college and used his friends like KP to get intel on him.

A few of us are curious as well on what might have transpired between them in the past (at college); I have an inclination that she has been after ML since college and try to get closer to him by getting intel from his close friends, etc.

I'm a fan of both leads (from their respective other works) as well as the supporting players; I'm intrigued by the character developments and their stories (with the exception of SFL). 💯 in agreement with what you wrote here; I also think that she likes ML to go on a movie date with him and found him to be enduring. Furthermore, she was kind enough to share her notes, etc with him when he was a rookie! Tbh with you, I also can relate and understand why she is pushing away someone she might have an affinity towards (so she can avoid further heartache/headache in the future). 🤦🏻‍♀️

The chemistry between the leads are 🔥. ☺️

In addendum, I like YYS and MGY as actors in their previous respective works. MGY also delineated how she picked this role as a 'different' challenge; good for her! 👍👏🏻

I like how reading the differences in perspectives/subjective opinions in this page; in fact, some of them are quite comedic. 🤣

I have rewatched Mood of the day a few times! 👍 I especially like the ending...☺️

Thanks for your posts! The goods from this show...


1) It is not a typical chaebol kdrama romance - nothing wrong with 'being rich' in SFL character.

2) I love how her coworkers were candid with the auditors (even at first, splicing and scenes showed they were on the manager's side) and share what the manager did towards SY was wrong (#metoo movement) and ❤️ how SY stood up for herself with the same manager in front of her coworkers! 💪🏼 It was equally GOOD to see/hear the apology from the same manager.

3) How atypical SS is by choosing and liking SY (fully aware of her educational background, etc) instead of someone who will help him attain wealth, etc quicker. To be determined...lol 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

4) This drama depict what it might be like for the 'normal' folks; I also like seeing how some characters try to 'help' one another! It is good to escape via the characters in a drama but we tend to over-romanticized 'wealth' and chaebol families. This is why I like how SS wants an 'average' life with a wife of his choosing.

💯 on factoring income/grades/test scores/etc. It is difficult to account for someone's background; i.e. a rich kid might have parents who refuse to pay if they do not elect/choose the major of their parents choosing. If I was the SFL, I would have elected partial scholarship or financial aids vs full scholarship. It all depends on the school's endowments. Hope you are enjoying this drama along with others! 😁 After Reborn Rich , Under the Queen's Umbrella, and The Glory, I need something really good soon. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I totally understand why these characters are behaving this way due to their insecurities/protective natures/etc. I get why she has reservations about ML and why she is distancing so she does not get hurt. Life has not been easy for her.

On a side note, I feel like the writer(s), at times, are saying what we all feel like saying but could not. i.e. That rude guest @ the friend's wedding; I like SFL's character but what her college friend/rude wedding guest said was true, SFL probably thinks she is being noble by attaining full scholarship but in reality, she took away an opportunity from an equally diligent but yet POOR student who might have needed it more! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️👊🏻
